US TV: Suits

I love Harvey and Donna. Minsan natutuwa ako kay Louis pero most of the time, hindi.

What is one season in the US? Di ba dapat tuloy tuloy mga episodes? Bakit may mid season pa?

^ Cable dramas in the US (HBO, Showtime, USANetwork etc) where Suits is showing, average 16 episodes per season. Network dramas (ABC, NBC, FOX etc), 24 episodes average per season.

Cable shows - American viewers have to pay to watch it. Network shows - Free TV.

Season breaks (hiatus) - it's a matter of programming and $:
- For Cable shows, it's giving way to the fall season of Network shows. Mahirap sabayan yun and get audience to watch, coz it's Free TV. Lugi ang cable. So they have to go on a break and then come back when the audience have sampled network TV for that season.
- For Network shows hiatus means literally resting and regrouping - coz mahirap magtrabaho on network TV 16 hours a day, 5 days a week. That's how long and hard it is to do just 1 episode in a week.  The cast and crew have to take breaks. Magastos rin for the network if walang breaks, remember they are Free TV, they have to earn more advertising money (like show sports games like baseball and NFL, which is always profitable, but it also means 1-3 weeks walang new episodes ang mga shows).

im already at suits season 2 epsidoe 10 na...ngayon lang ulit nagkaroon ng time manood..next ko naman panoorin yung White Collar (mahaba habang panooran yun)

by the way, sino po yung girl guest star na friend ni jenny (season 2 episode yung gusto magpakuha ng LSAT via MIke Ross, na nagbayad ng $5,000? just curious...

I love suits! nakakairita lang si Mike ross minsan, ang stupid stupid pag dating sa girls. I hate Jenny and his ex. I hope they don't come back this season.
