Ever wonder why some people succeed in certain business   
while others don’t?

Is it purely luck? right timing? Far from it.

Let me explain further.

While doing business consulting I was once asked by a   
lady…”You think X business is a good business for me?”

I paused for a moment as I think of better way to answer   
her.

Then I said “I’m planning to buy a new basketball shoe, you   
think the latest Nike basketball shoe is the right one for   
me?”

The lady replied “I don’t know. You’re the only one can say   
if it’s the right shoe for you.”

Then I said “Same with starting a business, you’re the only   
one who can say if that’s the right one for you.”

Unfortunately, most people are looking for the right   
business outside of themselves first instead of looking   
inside of them.

Their looking for the latest or hottest business trend to   
jump on.

One reason most fail in their business is because they’re in   
the game where their likelihood of winning is slim to none.

You have to remember that we’re all unique.

When you choose the right business you have to consider   
factors like…

    Experience   
    Knowledge   
    Skill   
    Passion   
    Resources   
    Gift   
    Talent

And all other things.

Then, find the sweet spot.

The sweet spot is where you’re able to use most if not all   
of what you have.

Put them all together and make it work to your advantage.

One BIG reason I’m successful in selling products online   
because I’ve been in the online industry for 14 years now.

So if you try to do what I’ve been doing, you may not get   
the same success that I have.

In summary…know thyself first and the right business will   
reveal itself.

I'm just saying that I'm in the online industry that long working as web designer after graduation.

Yep. Still just look at the warriorforum and see how
many people fail in internet marketing...

The reason is they think it's a get rich quick thing.

Success always comes from hard work, and just
go through the pain of failure after failure until you
succeed.

There are no shortcuts.


Foolproof method of succeeding:

1. Look for a proven method that works.
2. Find a good mentor if possible
3. Perform massive action
4. And stick with it.

They say at least 80% of success is attitude.

A good book to read is Think & Grow Rich.

Or for me, it was Rich Dad Poor Dad.

Recommend them these books, and then after
that, talk business. ^^

right sis, just know your passion ..... if you love to cook, then go for a catering business, if you love fashion, then build your dream boutique...etc... basically it should be the one you would love doing for the rest of your lives...

Passion is just a beginning though.

Because not all passion is monetizeable. Meaning, there are passion just for hobbies.

You want something where you have a combination of the elements I mentioned above.

pero what if you don't know your passion? like wala masyadong hilig sa pagluluto, or hindi artistic..yun ang medyo mahirap..

Hi Elarose.

First, we all have some level of passion on something. Sometimes lang, we're too busy on our lives so we don't see it.

Some people may have told you like..."Ang galing mo dito?" or "Bat ang bilis mo gawin ito?".

There are things that are too easy for you but because it's easy you think it's also easy for other people.

Second, you don't have to be completely passionate on it. You just have some level of interest and excitement on it. Dahil hindi naman lahat ng passion can be converted into a business.

As I've said, you need to combine different elements of your strengths. Passion is just one of it.

There's this technique (learned it from Tony Robbins) where
you can channel your passion.

As long as you feel passion for one thing, you can use it for
another.

So if something is very profitable, but you don't have passion
for that business/industry, you can just use your passion from
another business/industry to drive you.

Well, sometimes, it just happens.  Dati employee ako.  programmer ako before. then something happened and in an instant, online seller na ako.  i'm earning more than what i'm earning sa last work ko.

mahilig ako magsell pero not as a real seller.  i'm really into programming.  if i have a business, i want it something like photo booth...

You have to assess everything as I listed in my first post.

Again, passion or interest alone is not enough.

Having capital or cash alone is not enough too.

Some people or OFW that I talked invested their entire savings in a business or franchise.

Sadly, in less than 12 months they lost all their savings simply because they're in a wrong business.

KEY POINT: Know thyself first!

Learn this and you'll have higher chance of winning in business and be wealthy.
