Lahat---church, cocktails and reception sila magpplay actually. I just dont want to make them play na after the ceremony yung mga picture taking ganyan nalang because theyre supposed to be packing up to go to the reception venue ahead of time--- so they can set up there before the guests arrive since they'll be playing sa cocktails too. Also, the songs i chose for the post-ceremony are best yata preserved in its original version, so CD nalang

^that's good that your strings will learn the chords but if you're still looking, I saw that it's available in amazon for .86 cents. If you don't mind shelling out 38-45 pesos hehe

^^sis I think mauuna pa din sila. During our wedding nauna pa din strings ko sa venue. Since after the pictorial inside the church, hinintay kami ng guests outside the door para sa pag throw ng petals. So lahat wala pa umalis. But I think depende pa din sayo.

same here sis. if meron namang songs na gusto ka i-play at wala sa repertoire nila, i am sure willing silang tugtugin yun basta advise mo sila in advance para mapag-aralan yung chords. yung first dance kasi namin strings din pero di sikat kaya ayun inaral nila. galing nga e:) yung sa pictorial naman during ceremony, tumugtog sila mga 3-4 songs ata tapos umalis na para mauna sa reception dahil tutugtug din sila during cocktails. naiwan kami para dun nga sa balloons and throwing of petals. btw, string session (merjohn lagaya) yung quartet supplier ko naman:)

Kami lahat ng songs na ginamit sa wedding downloaded lang from youtube except yun canon in d kasi meron na ako mp3 nun. Bridal march ko ikaw by yeng na violin cover. Okay naman kinalabasan. Nagkamali pa nga ng pagplay na version buti nahabol. Diko alam paano ginawa pero inoverlap na lang nila yun 2 song. Reception songs namin all instrumental (piano, cello or violin cover). Siguro mga 15 lang yun na nagpapaulit ulit. Dito ko naman nakuha sa GT yun turning page na instrumental magandang pang background nung marriage contract signing na namin.

mejo may problema ko ditto,  h2b said siya daw ang pipili ng song, surprise daw, then one time na pagausapan namin, pinarinig nya sakin yung song, beautiful in white, westlife. okay, maganda yung lyrics, pero medyo upbeat yung song na feeling ko hindi bagay sa pag march ko, I tried to search yung violin version, okay maganda! pero parang di ata bet ni h2b na instrumental lang. huhuhu.. anong gagawin ko?

^Sakin sinusuggest nya na Rock 80's na music, yung sumisigaw. Ayoko nga! . Sis explain mo sa kanya na solemn ang ceremony dapat appropriate at bagay sa style ng wedding. Hinde nila siguro alam kung ano ang romantic at elegant na feel.

sis sabihin mo wag niya isabotage ang moment mo. LOL. pero ask him nicely na since its your "moment" you would like to pick the song. and he can choose whatever song he wants for his march and the whole entourage as a compromise.

Mahilig lang kasi kami magbiruan sis ece so sabi ko ibalato niya na sa akin yung bridal march song kasi pang bride naman yun haha bahala na ka ko siya sa song niya while he is marching down the aisle if there even such a thing as groom's march song. In a more serious note, i told him the song that I wanted and why I want it, he listened to it and then agreed tapos mula nun sis he always listen to the song na! I guess it also helped that I let him choose our the other songs so yung bridal song sa akin na talaga

ako naman ayoko ng mushy song as bridal march.  on the rock/alternative genre kami ni h2b pero parang wala namang babagay ganung genre for bridal march.  our "theme song" is The Only Exception by Paramore, kaso ang haba ng entra nun bago mag chorus.  chorus lang kasi yung sa tingin kong babagay as bridal march.  tapos ang problem pa ay ipapa-approve pa yun sa church kung sakali. ang stict lang. di naman sila yung ikakasal. hahaha!

hehe same here sis...sabi ni fiance, i have a song for you when you march...toinks! i didnt like it at all...so i told him na he doesnt have to worry na about the bridal march song since i already have my choice...beautiful in my eyes...nagustuhan niya naman:) so problem solved for me.

thats also true sis and i understand that.but since he said na "its more of your day than mine, so you do what u think is best". althoughi know its "our" day naman. but he said, iba parin ang wedding sa mga b2b:). and am just happy that he thinks that way:)

Was thinking of "when you know" from serendipity soundtrack. I saw sound salad can do this however i haven't heard yung version nila e. Was thinking if bagay to as strings lang or as is na may voice. Any thoughts?
