This lesson is from the PEP I attended tonight, any relationship should push you up not pull you down. Totoo nga naman, dapat kung may goals / dreams ka sa buhay, never give up on that. True love means supporting each other.

what i've learned about love?
-i learned how to wait. hindi yung paghihintay ng wala lang.. hindi yung tipong parang nasa bus stop ka lang na naghihintay ng tamang bus na sasakyan po para makapunta ka sa patutunguhan mo.. waiting in terms of habang naghihintay ka, you are preparing for the right time or person to come.. parang yung may date ka mamaya.. syempre hindi ka naman naghihintay lang na dumating lang sya.. syempre magp-prepare ka, nag-aayos ka ng sarili mo, physically, mentally and emotionally.. sa boys, syempre money na pang date.. syempre kung satin mga girls, magdadala ka rin ng pera diba? para pag dumating na yung date mo, go na agad. hindi yung dun ka pa lang magp-prepare..

singles.. guys and gals.. while we are waiting prepare -prepare muna.. physically, emotionally, mentally, financially, spiritually.. hindi yung nakita mo na yung love of your life, go na agad.. syempre kung maaga pa lang nakaligo ka na, kahit wala kang naka-set na lakad tapos biglang may tumawag nag-aya ng date tapos papunta na sa inyo, on the go na agad..

diba? kung tayo, nakapag-prepare na.. hindi naman sobrang nag-assume na ayan na liligawan ka na ng crush mo.. pero kung gusto mo nang pumasok sa isang relationship, nakapag-ready kana and you think you are really ready for it, why wait for the so called "right time". kasi nga ang right time not really speaks about the time per se.. it the right time na darating kung ready ka na talaga.. then go for it.. fight for it..

-it IS love.. sabi nga, at hindi lang kasabihan.. hindi mo maeexplain kung pano mo minahal at minamahal yung isang tao.. kasi you're heart will just know that this is your love..

Be super patient. Though I find it really hard to do so  ;D I'm still waiting and praying for that special someone and I know he will come soon.  ;)

Compromising is important, but don’t change who you are entirely just to please another person.

One does not really emotionally mature until they've experienced their heart get broken...by the person they truly loved the most nonetheless.

NEVER TAKE SOMEONE FOR GRANTED... Just because you thought the person is so in love with you.

Always respect and love your partner no matter what the circumstances even when you are arguing/ fighting.

Ouch. This came to me like a wrecking ball :D can totally relate.

+1.

Here goes mine:

- Love is not always rainbows, unicorns, and butterflies.

- Don't give too much favors, because your partner might confuse gratitude with love. Relationships are always give and take.

- Don't introduce him/her to your parents yet! :P

Sorry, I'm a bit pessimistic at the moment hehe.

I learned na pag nagmamahal ka, you will understand the other person and you will always be there to support..

Dear.. Thank you kasi naiintindihan mo ko.. Akala ko nasaktan kita sa mga sinabi ko.. Salamat..

lessons I learned :
1. love yourself first
2. don't love too much
3. whatever you give don't expect anything in return

There are some people who will never see you as being good enough. That is their shortcoming, not yours. Be merciful enough to yourself to cut them out of your life. -Dr. Steve Maraboli (Yes, I Agree! Completely!)

The greatest lesson Ive learned from LOVE is Letting go is one way of saying I Love You!

It doesn't mean its easy to do but the fact that you can do it despite of how painful it is in the end you'll learm to do it for the sake of your own self (self love). I didn't know how many times I've died that time simply because he cant choose and fight for me while I do the fighting for US! Its been a month and a week. He still manage to call and text me but he knew where I stand and what I want and I dont. If he wanted to come back i'll accept him only if I saw the changes I want not because I want but more I want for the better of our relationship. I'll take him back if I saw he deserves it, he needs to work on it and earn my trust.

Share ko lang excerpt from Eat, Pray, Love:

“I’m not laughing.” I was actually crying. “And please don’t laugh at me now, but I think the reason it’s so hard for me to get over this guy is because I seriously believed David was my soul mate. ”He probably was. Your problem is you don’t understand what that word means. People think a soul mate is your perfect fit, and that’s what everyone wants. But a true soul mate is a mirror, the person who shows you everything that’s holding you back, the person who brings you to your own attention so you can change your life. A true soul mate is probably the most important person you’ll ever meet, because they tear down your walls and smack you awake. But to live with a soul mate forever? Nah. Too painful. Soul mates, they come into your life just to reveal another layer of yourself to you, and then they leave. And thank God for it. Your problem is, you just can’t let this one go. It’s over, Groceries. David’s purpose was to shake you up, drive you out of your marriage that you needed to leave, tear apart your ego a little bit, show you your obstacles and addictions, break your heart open so new light could get in, make you so desperate and out of control that you had to transform your life, then introduce you to your spiritual master and beat it. That was his job, and he did great, but now it’s over. Problem is, you can’t accept that his relationship had a real short shelf life. You’re like a dog at the dump, baby – you’re just lickin’ at the empty tin can, trying to get more nutrition out of it. And if you’re not careful, that can’s gonna get stuck on your snout forever and make your life miserable.

So drop it.

“But I love him.”

“So love him.”

“But I miss him.”

“So miss him.”

Send him some love and light every time you think about him, then drop it. You’re just afraid to let go of the last bits of David because then you’ll be really alone, and Liz Gilbert is scared to death of what will happen if she’s really alone. But here’s what you gotta understand, Groceries. If you clear out all that space in your mind that you’re using right now to obsess about this guy, you’ll have a vacuum there, an open spot – a doorway. And guess what the universe will do with the doorway? It will rush in – God will rush in – and fill you with more love than you ever dreamed. So stop using David to block that door. Let it go.”

^^^ Indeed, indeed. As it turns out, my sould mate was my one great love, too, but he's gone now. However, I won't be the person I am today if it were not for him... so, I learnt that when you look beyond your pain and loss... that is the only time you'll see how much you've really gained by being with that person. And how much more it matters now that... He's gone for good.
