I've learned that you need to give him his space even though you are in a relationship, let him do the things he was doing that time he was still in his single hood. As long as he knows his limitations naman.
Trust him more, Understand him more and give him a lot of patience (wag lang talagang sosobra).

^nice like it

Understand him more.... but Love him less.    ;D

why love him less? hehe.. ganda sana eh.. :D

in a relationship you should learn hot to give and take, before ang gusto ko take lang ng take but in the end i realized something dahil sa attitude na yun nagiging malayo kami sa isat isa. so idecided to change that attitude for the sake of our relationship. now we're ok haaay buti binago ko yun, muntik na siyang mawala.

a cliche.. But learn to love & respect yourself first and everything follows.

It worked for me and now I'm getting married.. ;)

1. love is acceptance but;

2. love is never a reason to accept what is intolerable.

3. do the best you can. never expect anyone else to do better than he can-or will. in short huwag kang mag expect ng di ka madissapoint.

4. the only way to change another human being's behavior is to change the way you react to it.

5. some problems cannot be solved. they can only be left for time to change or carry away.

6. you damn well can help the way you feel.

That you should not rely on your feelings alone but also consider and actually appreciate the wisdom and discernment of your parents.

That to forgive is not to tolerate.

When you love, make sure it really is LOVE. DO NOT mistake infatuation or any fleeting kilig emotions for love. For when you truly love you will accept the person as he/she is, flaws, shortcomings, rudeness and negativity included. Its supposedly UNCONDITIONAL. Unconditional it is. IT should be mutual to nurture the relationship. BEcause if it is one way, you're going no where.

Compromise.

i learned to communicate effectively and be vocal of how you feel. Most importantly do not settle any fights with breaking up. It is immature. unless there is a compelling reason that you really need to break up like your safety is already threatened.

love brought out the worst and best of me. And I learned to acknowledge it.

Really there are lots of things you'll learn from love. You'd do crazy things you'd never imagine you'll do. you'll go beyond your principles. It is a strong subject that you have to check your actions and emotions all the time. Because if you just go and do the things you want to do in the name of love, either you'll be in perpetual bliss or in the heights of damnation. Do not let emotions take control ALL THE TIME.

And most of all, consider your self in any situation. Huwag lagi ang kaligayahan ng BF/Hubby. Gagawin mo nga di ka naman masaya ano ka lokaloka? Do not loose your sense of self ever.

don't let resentment grow in your heart.  if you have doubt, no matter how small it is, always discuss it with your significant other.    ;)

that breaking up isn't like in movies wherein you break up and then, you cry and move on. it's a repetitive process of breaking up and talking to each other like you never broke up, breaking up and making up, breaking up and fighting like you were were still in a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship. funny thing is, this process can last for months or even years.

ang tawag namin nun friend ko dyan sa relationship status na yan..naglolokohan. kasi parang niloloko lang un mga sarili :D
