Does anyone have a suki tailor based in HK? Fiance is going there this weekend to check out where he can have his suit made and better if he can actually ave it made already Thanks in advance!

Hi sparklingjewel, my fiance's used a few tailors in Hong Kong. Sam's Tailor is still famous but apparently the quality's suffered in recent years; maybe try Empire Tailors?

sis ang dami in sham shui po! so nice the fit of suits there. good for a few uses lang though, but perfect for asians yung fit kung mag hk lang din kami shortly before the wedding, dun ko na papabilhin ni h2b.

H2b will have his suit done by Onesimus, ang quote sa amin is 9K for labor and tela.

sa hubby ko mga sissies we buy nalang ng suits sa Zara sa barcelona nasa tour kasi kami nun kaya we decided nalang na bumili kesa magpatahi madami kasing hassles minsan kapag nagpatahi pa kami ng suits nya lalo na overseas kami baka masira lang mood namin kapag hindi fit and hindi nya type ang tahi kaya we decided to buy nalang sa barcelona kasi mas mura ang zara dun and lots of choices na din =) i think also mas convinience and practical kasi feeling ko mas mura bumili kesa magpatahi basta pumili lang ng fit talaga

sis i've shopped na sa zara in barcelona and my god they're SOO much cheaper than zara in the phils! half the price lang sila dun - sometimes even 1/3 lang ng price vs ng zara dito! yung sale nga natin sa zara dito mas mahal pa rin sa new arrivals ng zara dun! sa mango din, my god ang mura lang dun! lucky for you sis!

kami baka magpasadya kami ng suit ni h2b sa ivory and white. their prices start at 15k and i was told by one of the sissies here reasonable na raw yun for a well-made suit. we saw a sample of their suits and maganda gawa nila. magagamit kasi siya ulit ni h2b for work or other occasions vs my wedding gown that i'll only wear once.

sis barbeecue, yes sis nagcucustomize ang onesimus ng suits para tailor fit sayo. dun si h2b magpapagawa, around 10k that includes tela and labor, depende sa style. they can finish it in 15 days daw. sa megamall daw ang parang mother branch nila para sa magpapatahi, altho halos lahat naman ng branch nagaaccept.

Hi sis crimsonsky! Which branch of onesimus accepts mto suits? Im currently looking for suit supplier for h2b. Does anyone here have feedback on kingsmen? They quoted mo 12k for a 3pc suit. Might check them on Sunday but still looking for other quality suppliers. Recos are very much welcome! tia!!

hi taz188, so far we have inquired with onesimus market market, robinsons galleria and megamall, and lahat sila nagaaccept ng mto. but i highly suggest sa sm megamall kayo magpagawa kasi dyan daw ang mother branch nila when it comes to mto suits. yung sa galleria kasi nung nagtanong kami puro hindi sure ang sagot, unlike sa sm megamall ang bilis nilang sumagot.

hi sis taz188, ang gustong style ni h2b is yung nakadisplay sa onesimus na parang chinese colar kaya 2 pc suit lang, jacket and pants. 9K yung quote sa kanya tela and labor

Hi mga sis, I know that this thread says Groom's suit, but I hope somebody can also give us suggestions as for Barong Tagalog?  Kasi my hubby prefers a Barong Tagalog kesa suit.  Sabi nya mainit daw kasi sa Pinas, nevermind na near Tagaytay ang venue namin.  Aside from Onesimus, can anyone as well give us suggestions for custom or RTW Barong Tagalogs?  Like mga pina-jusi or kung may something better?  Thanks in advance sa mga makakatulong

Sis bonzaigirl, edward teng does customised Barong Tagalog. And since you are overseas, that could work for you  din. You can send your peg or just ask them for a sketch..then they send a measurement guide for you to follow, fill that out, then just send it back to them. That's what I did with my reception gown. .and take note, no adjustments made!

Oh wow.  I didn't know na Edward Teng makes Barongs.  I thought he just makes gowns. I saw his gowns last March during the bridal fair and talagang super embroidered at pino yung pag kakagawa. hehe.  I jokingly asked his assistant if the gowns were about 50k, and sabi nung assistant, "Naku ate malayo ang 50 k jan" hehe.  I'm hoping na the barong wouldn't cost like that. hehe. Mga 15-20K is reasonable for me though.  Tutal si hubby naman ang magsusuot hehe. I'll go ask him. Thanks sis Belle_v2g

Sis bonzaigirl! Magagaling ang beaders ni Edward Teng diba.. and his gowns are to fall in love with sis.. I didn't get him for my bridal gown because his quote is almost double of what I paid for mine.. (faint). Didn't wanna spend that much. Pero your 20k for the Barong I think is reasonable and pasok sa kanila yan. not to mention, sir edward himself is soooo nice.. during my fitting super tawanan kami coz he accidentally sent some text messages sakin (wrong send) na weird ang nilalaman. haha! very mabait kausap din his assistants. Ang ganda pa ng fit ng mga gawa nila.

How long before dapat magpagawa ng suit? 10 months pa wedding namin pero excited si h2b haha. Takot lang ako kasi ang laki ng pinayat niya over the past year (20+ lbs), di ko alam kung papayat pa siya or (wag naman sana!) bumalik sa dating size niya.
