hi andylhen hahah okay lang ang long post! heheh try ko din maghanap ng pwede magpatahi. Actually there is one in KAtipunan name ng shop is TOPPERS and their suits daw starts at php5k. trusted na ng friends ko from ateneo. my brother and dad doon na ata magpapagawa ng suit heheh

sis toodee, another option is cornell. if italian wool, 1 set with vest is 13k. if polyester wool, 1 set is 10.5k. if labot only, 1 set with vest is 7.2k.

wool is definitely better kasi polyester, even the mananahi will say na cheap material yan and not good for the groom. i was supposed to get armani for my PS but my friend said na hindi ok and halatang cheap.

^i think mura nga ang armani.. enough for the budget allocated sis.. matangkad naman si h2b kaya bagay sa kanya ang suit in any kind of cloth.. buti nalang baka maglakad lang si h2b in suit only kasi hanggang dun lang ang budget namin..

just be practical if h2b will be wearing it once.. at the end of the day, nasa nagdadala lang yan kung magmumukhang mahal or cheap ang suot mo..

Mura ang armani? Last time I checked, their suit+pants is 50k. We are thinking of getting hugo boss for the groom, then zara for the groomsmen. I dont know kase baka pag pinagawa, d maayos or ill fitting so baka bili nalang kame.

^ naku sis.. tama.. check ka muna ng types of cloth.. kasi ako tumungin sa megamall ng armani, hindi naman ganun kamahal.. pero ok naman ang texture sis.. may wool sila na pinakita sa akin, mahal nga, tapos sabi ng saleslady, pang slacks daw yun... medyo nagsstretch kasi.. pero pwedi din naman daw pang suit..

^agree sis.. dapat medyo kilala natin yung mga types of cloth.. para hindi tayo maloko.. at the same time, alam natin ang texture.. baka mainit or hindi bagay sa design na gusto natin para sa suit..

tama sis Armani wool yung ginagamit sa suit. May napili na pala si h2b na mapagtatahian ng suit nya. malapit lang sa kanila sa Las Pinas. matagal na raw na kilala ng family nila as in taga gawa pa ng suit ng lolo nya. 6,500 yung quote sa kanya na ginaya design nung kay Oyo Boy. 

binigyan pa sya ng swatches para malaman namin yung tela. dun na lang kami papatahi para malapit lang din.

andylhen haha korek sis, tipid mode sila sa suit sabay nun bibili na kami ng shoes aba nagulat ako gusto daw nya hushpuppies. wala na ko comment, at least may nabili rin kami na medyo pricey for him. kasi nakakatuwa rin how humble he is na kahit manghiram na lang kmi ng suit okay lang sa kanya pero just like you b2bs, i had the same feeling noon na, parang he who spent a lot of money for the whole wedding tapos ang isusuot e di ko man lang binudgetan, pinilit ko parin na bumili kami. Pero at least mura pa rin nabili namin Same lang tayo ng budget for his suit,shoes and accessories buti na lang pasok sa banga. Timing rin kasi ang sale nun onesimus that time.

Dukhang Adbenturera sis yun kay hubby nabili namin 30% off each items. So total bill was 5k. Swerte lang namin at may sale non. Matagal pa ba wedding mo? Sana magkasale ulet hehe. Pero kung san makakatipid pa rin go tayo jan.

Actually nun nagtitingin rin ako noon napapalunok ako sa price, then yung sa department store na kami di na ko nahiya magpaassist sa sales lady. meron dun yung isang set na. ganon yung binili namin tapos ang nangyari pa was 30% each item.

armani is a kind of tela, it's made of wool and polyester but more on polyester so if nagtitipid ka, this is what most people use. it's about 200/yard. if you want good tela, try williams. it's a mix but more on wool na, 300/yard and you will really feel the difference. of if you want good quality, get ferragamo at 1200/yard.

my friend suggested a mananahi, he was the former "master cutter" of bergamo. he charges for labor only -

4500 - 2pc suit
1500 - vest

this is a steal na kasi i've asked cornell's, sarto manila and it's about 6000 up just for labor for 2pc suit.

so far my choices are him, sarto manila and gregg centeno. maybe cornell's for fiance's suit kasi he doesn't want to take in my 4 unfinished ones.

i know! i really want cornell's din because of those reviews. baka i would get my groom's suit there of if kayanin pa ng budget, gregg centeno kasi i saw his works sa bridal books and may dating his tux/suit.

Sa Onesimus kami nagpagawa for hubby: suit, vest and pants around P7k lang. May 20% discount kasi sila July last year, I think it's their anniversary kasi. Kaya kahit 8 months before our wedding, binook na namin sila. Baka mag-sale ulit sila this year, sisses.

i just want to share, we met up with mang delfin (recable) last night, he's home service so he went to our house.

prior to that, i have told our coordinator that we will be meeting him and asked if she knew him. when she heard that he was the former master cutter of bergamo, she remembered that one of her clients got him and ok naman siya.

we got him na, what's nice is that home service siya and he doesn't make patong sa tela. it seems pulido siya din siya gumawa since fiance tried on one of his suits for deliver and it looked smart. he claims to be fast but then will found out soon.

anyways, this is the breakdown if labor only. pwede din sa kanya tela, you just have to choose which and he'll charge you how much ylaya would charge you.

2pc tuxedo - 6000 (around 3.5 yards, including the vest)
vest - 1500
shirt 1500 (around 2-3 yards depending on the design)
2pc suit - 4500 (3.5 yards)
2pc suit kids - 4000 (2.75 yards)

Dukhang adbenturera: Hi sis, where in Las Pinas is this mananahi? We're from Las Pinas din kasi. Actually, for the apparel stuff, as much as possible yung malapit lang na supplier ang gusto naming kunin para wala ng hassle for us.
