Direct Seller: Avon, Natasha, MSE, Sophie Martin, etc.
« on: June 09, 2012, 10:53:35 am »

well may officemate ako na kailangan talaga within a month bayad na yung product na inorder mo sa kanya..so before niya pa-orderin sinasabi niya agad na may overdue fee if ever ma late ka or over ka for a month.. ayaw naman nila magbayad ng sobra diba?  ;D takutin mo ..hehe

btw, sis runaway_bridesmaid ..if you can still remember me, you are looking for a dress supplier right? i cant send/reply to your PM..can you just leave your contact email thru PM?  ;D  ;D  ;D

My helper sells stuff to our neighbors keeps a notebook where she makes them sign an acknowledgement that they've received the goods and that they will making the payment at an agreed time and amount.  This will help you later on if someone decides to run off with your goods and don't pay as you have proof that they made a purchase and agreed to pay.  If worse comes to worst, then at least you have proof.  Alternatively you can impose a rule that you will only hand the products if they are fully paid or partially pay and put into writing that they will pay the full amount at a certain date or dates (if staggered).  You have to realize that you're running a business and not a charity.  Though they are family and friends, tell them that you started this business to earn money and not lose more.  If they are the people who you think they are, they would understand.  Otherwise, it's best not to do business with them.

What I do is I buy the merchandise from the store itself then pay in cash so I can save on trips. Usually I buy worth 5k per brochure. Mabilis naman ang items and actually easier to sell pag nasa harap na nila instead of in brochures.

I have testers for the fast moving items (ex. in Avon, I have the whole Simply Pretty line, lipsticks, blushes, etc.) and  have stocks as well.

paano nga ba maningil  :D may online business kami pero iniiwasan ko talaga may bumili ng direct from our displays in the house lalo na mga kapitbahay, one time may nakakita sa display namin tapos kumuha agad babayaran daw agad tapos ang tagal magbayad tapos pinagkakalat pa na mahal daw at meron daw mas mura sa iba, ayaw lang kase magbayad, mama ko pinasisingil ko  :D

@simplepink - It should not be necessary for you to shell out cash to be a direct seller.  Like with mine, you can become a distributor without any cash out.  We teach people how to sell the products and once they have buyers we use that to get them their distributorship at no extra cost. With mine, mit only takes around 3k worth at wholesale to start.  I believe there would be some like us but mostly for others, the startups are priced more than the value of the products because the excess are used to pay for recruitment bonuses for your sponsor.

^We have lots of products but mainly divided into skincare and nutritional supplements.  What's really selling for us now are our anti-aging products from both lines and the science behind it was even featured recently on the discovery channel which would probably drive the sales and make it easier to sell

Credit lines:

Avon - 2000 ang start-up credit line if you we're able to submit CC proof of address.
Natasha - cash basis first.  you need to upgrade to Selling Pro 1 before credit is approved.
MSE - cash basis first. MSE would need to conduct a CI (credit investigation) in your given address before credit is approved.
Boardwalk - your credit line would depend on your cash bond.  Credit line is twice of cash bond.
Sophie - no credit line. cash basis only.
Sundance & FX - same as Natasha, cash basis muna.

  • Never let them order another item, kung hindi pa bayad iyong dating nakuha.
  • Give discounts for cash purchases

By sept ko sana balak mag-member for sure maraming oorder kasi christmas season na.
