how early did you announce your pregnancy?

after positive PT (~5 weeks) - hubby informed his family right after by posting a picture of the 2 positive lines in our viber group.  We also told my family personally during the same week and informed my closest office friends the week after.

after my first OB check-up and TVS at 7 weeks - had to go on 2 weeks bed rest (then extended by another 2 weeks) so my officemates found out.  I also informed by closest cousins and friends so they can pray for me.

at 12 weeks when I was finally allowed to go back to work, I told my HS barkada and titas (my mom's sisters, kasi my mom passed away na)

sometime in the middle of 3-4 months, I informed my former officemates subtly by telling them that I cannot drink alcohol.

at 5 months, I posted a photo of myself with my bump showing in instagram and FB.

I did a gender reveal only to my immediate family and hubby's right after my CAS.

No special gender reveal announcement in FB but I do tell those who ask.

Learned officially that I am pregnant over the weekend. After my ultrasound, my hubby called his mom to tell her the good news. Then we went to my mom's house to tell her personally, sa dad ko na nasa abroad, sent an email with the picture of the ultrasound but then I know before nya na-open yung email malamang nagka-usap na sila ng mommy ko. And then group message sa FB sa mga magiging tito at tita ni baby. The following day closest friends lang namin ni hubby. Tsaka na yung full announcement I guess pag natapos na ang first trimester ko. But if some work colleagues will ask, syempre hindi ko naman itatago...

^nung unang pregnancy ko, sinend ko agad ang photo ng PT result sa mom ko. at sinabi din namin agad sa MIL ko at mga kamag-anak. then I miscarried my twin angels at 12 weeks.

^second pregnancy ko ngayon. I am now on my 10th week, pero ang nakakaalam pa lang bukod sa aming mag-asawa: parents namin and my immediate boss. Quiet na muna kami. saka na lang namin ipagkakalat pag halata na.

1st PT ko pinakita namin ni hubby sa mom ko then pagvisit namin kay OB Im 6 weeks pregnant then we informed his family. After 3mos nag announce na ko sa FB page ko.

hay! ang hirap magtimpi ng masayang balita na ito... my husband and I are so excited to tell our daughter na magiging ate na sya. 5wks preggo now and waiting for my TVS for next week. I hope and pray na makita na namin ang baby's heartbeat  by next week

I was around 7 weeks preggy when I found out through PT. I immediately told my sister since she's my closest. My husband and I told everyone else when we confirmed our pregnancy through my OB which was a week later after the PT. This is our first child kaya exciting.

I learned about my pregnancy 2 days ago. I only told my parents, hubby and close friends about it. No social media announcement probably until i reach the 12th week kase risky pa this stage.

At 9 weeks nagtake ako ng PT, then nung nagposotive sinabi ko lang kay Hubby. After 5 weeks i need to tell my close friends kasi no choice maggagala kami nun dahil bibili ng gown for my wedding. Then afte 3 weeks which is 17weeks of pregnancy saka ko inanounce sa family. Then after 3 weeks again saka ko inanounce sa madlang people. Hehehhe

almost 8wks when the heartbeat of the baby showed up, we announced it to our only daughter and to our inlaws, and to our closest aunties and uncldes

when hubby and i first learned about our first bundle of joy (3 consecutive days of positive PT), we went to my OB first. ang estimate ng OB ko that time ay 4 weeks only so hindi pa nya ako na TVS since masyado pa maliit. pero based daw sa PT alone, sabi nya it's really pregnancy. so she asked me to do a lot of laboratory tests (including HCG to confirm real pregnancy nga). after our OB visit, we shared the good news to our parents :-)

I was advised to take 2 weeks bed rest so I had to tell my immediate boss about it. Dahila may auto-reply ang corporate email ko na I will be gone for 2 weeks, may mga naghinala na im pregnant pero other just thought im out for vacation hahaha!

So pagbalik ko ng office, smile lang ako kapag may nagtatanong if Im preganat. After 1 more week, we went back to my OB at may heartbeat na si baby that's when we shared the good news with the rest of our friends and officemates.

Im now 15 weeks pregnant sabi nga ng isang life coach ko, it's better to share the good news especially with those people who really cares and love you. Kasi the more people who know about it, mas marami ang mag-pray for you at mag susupport syo. Lalo na for first time mom like me

kasi nabasa ko pang fetility din ito pero, gusto ko kasi yung marami na napatunayan na effective talaga.

may isang anak naman na ako pero gusto na namin dagdagan 6 years old na siya, since 3 years old siya wala na ako ginagamit na contraceptive para maka buo kami ulit..

^as far as i know both are just vitamins. folic acid is highly recommended to those who are trying to conceive in preparation for pregnancy, this helps more on the development of the baby, pero hindi sya nakakatulong para mabuntis ka.

sis, may ibang thread for those sisses who are trying to conceive (TTC). just search for:
infertility, endo-repro ob gyne recommendations
dun nagshare ang mga sisses ng experience nila and how their OB or fertility specialists helped them. yung myra e and folic acid kasi, mga vitamins lang. i myself went through fertility work up at ibang yung mga medicines na pinainom sa akin. hindi rin over the counter (OTC) yung mga medicines, kailangan ng doctor's prescription.

Yesterday after TVS at nakitang may heartbeat na si baby, I told my family na. Pero si hubby gusto raw nya sa Christmas na nya sabihin sa in-laws ko. Nauna pa nalaman sa office kasi my teammates were asking bakit ilang weeks na ako na sa bahay nagwowork, ayun no choice but to tell them bago pa yung TVS ko.

We found out i was pregnant at 11 wks, told our families the week after nung umuwi kami sa province. Sabi ng mom ko she kind of knew i was pregnant bago pa namin sabihin, nafeel na daw nya. Hehe.
