i agree mas love ko ang red ribbon than Goldilocks, noong 5th birthday ng anak ko nagpagawa ako ng photo cake sa red ribbon... nahirapan nga lang ako ng hihiwain ko na yung portion ng mukha ng anak ko 

ganyan din kami, tinira talaga namin yung face ng anak ko ayaw din namin kainin.hah hah hah!

I'll start looking na rin ng cake for my daughter's 7th bday next year pa naman. any suggestions for south area?

as for shoppersville, read among threads nalang as i dont know much pa about the cake. read lang na choco yema cake is less than 1k..

sis, noong 14th birthday ng panganay ko, i ordered from Sid's Party Favor from Las Piñas, may FB page siya sis, you may want to inquire from them, si Joanne or si Leslie ang nakausap ko doon, may FB page sila   Okay din ang Aggy's and Short Crust by Peachy Juban (BF, Pque)

may isang sis from SP who mentioned cake suppliers from the south, although hindi ko pa na-try, but according to her okay naman daw

How can i forget Goldilocks? Nag-order ako for one of my daughter's 4th birthday. Eh nag-Ondoy, ng day before her birthday so sa mismong birthday nya, ayun,walang cake ang anak ko. Wahhh! atnalaman lang namin nung kukunin na namin sa store, nobody bothers to call us, Although Ondoy naman kaya sige na, pagpapasensyahan na lang.
kaya pumunta na lang kami ng Red Riboon, in fairness sa Red Ribbon, kahit Ondoy,they we're able to produced the ordered cakes kasi ang daming nakapilang birthday cake dun sa bakeshop nila. Ayun, bumili na lang kami ng ready-made and boufht some decors.

True sis, ng mag-inquire ako sa Goldilocks for their themed-cakes last July, eh nawindang ako sa price nila no, namahalan ako, reason kasi nila binabayaran pa din yung patent ng character cakes, bukod sa cake mismo, di naman masyadong impressive designs, bukod sa di ko rin masyadong type ang taste kaya di ko na tinuloy duon, wala kasing disney cars theme ang red-ribbon, hotwheels lang...

pero sa cake smash session ng bunso ko, sa goldilocks ko na lang kukunin

kaya hindi ko isasali yun as my cake supplier.. imagine for an 8x16'' rectangular cake. ni walang lasa! boiled icing na dry ang chiffon ng cake ewan ko ba naman sa goldilocks!! awa tuloy ako sa friend ko, nasayang lang almost 1500 nia for that..

Yehey,tapos na kanina ang birthday party ng kiddo ko. Happy with everything. Happy with Max's and happy din ako sa cake/lollicakes ng The Lollicake Factory. Masarap yung cake (red velvet flavor) at lollicakes (assorted flavors) and happy ako sa execution ng Lalaloopsy na lollicakes.

for my daughter's coming birthday, she wants the pink cake na nakita niya sa cover ng FOOD magazine. it was made by shoppersville, so i promised her that will get the same cake for her. will but minnie mouse toppers lang kasi gusto niya daw si minnie mouse.

Yey! I'm finally booked with ms emily uy swing of sugarbox. She will make the cake and cupcakes for my daughter's 3rd birthday on nov 2 .  i initially wanted icingsnsprinkles or kitchen krafts to do my daughter's cake since i have already ordered from them before and i was really happy with the outcome but unfortunately, both of them were not able to accomodate my order because they will be closed on that day because it was declared as a special non working holiday. I am so glad that ms emily uy swing was able to accept my order. I ordered for a 12 x 16 cake butter pound cake with marshmallow icing and 50pcs cupcakes.  theme will be disney princesses because my daughter really loves all of them. Looking forward to the cake and cupcakes from sugarbox.

sis... natawa lang ako.... kaw yung napagtanungan ko sa singapore thread... now, while researching for ideas for my daughter's party, nakita kita ulet dito.... magkasunod lang mga plan natin ha.... like you, after our singapore trip... i'm busy now preparing my daughter's second birthday. she will celebrate it this october 28 naman.  btw, eyeing for kitchen krafts din. first time kung kukuha sa kanila kung sakali. just want to ask you magkano nag-ra-range ang customized cakes nila? tapos, may mga readily available designs na ba sila na pagpipilian kung sakaling wala akong sariling design na gusto ko?

^hi sis msrain!  nice to see you in this thread.  super ok ang kitchen krafts sis. Very reasonable din price nila. They did the 3 layer cake with rotating castle, cupcakes and cookie lollies on my daughter's 1st bday party in nov 2010. Yummy lahat from the cake, cupcakes and cookie lollies.  maayos pa kauaap si ms may santos and ms melanie. Sayang lang nga eh kasi they will be closed on nov 2 kasi nga holiday.  yung 3 layer cake with post ng daughter ko with rotating castle cost 10k. Bottom layer yung edible which is about 30" in diameter. Super dami pang character cookie lollies because the theme was disneyworld.  you can visit their shop in samat st mandaluyong to see their sample cake designs according to theme.

Dear moms.... Are you able to keep some or at least one of your kid's cake topper each year para your kids have a keepsake?

Parang ito gusto kong gawin for my nephew until he is old enough to appreciate his birthday celebrations.

I have read that fondant doesnt turn bad and only dries out and turns a darker color if exposed to air.  With that being said, possible ba to keep those fondant toppers in a closed container for a long time?

Sorry kung mejo OT. Baka lang someone here has tried preserving cake toppers.
