thank you sis, hindi ko talaga matanggap yung itsura nung topper, kasi hindi naman yan yung topper na ni request ko, marunong pa sila sa customer nila, eh di sana hindi na lang nila ako tinanong, LOL.

mabait ka pa sis.. siguro kung sa akin yan baka nasugod ko sa shop nila yan nung nag pabinyag kami sa shakey's hindi kasi namin pinaserve ang cake kaya oks lang sa shakeys na iba supplier namin. Pero may point ka din kasi na para makakain lahat.. Turned out sa amin nasayang lang dahil nalimutan ng kainin.

back to topic.. ang layo nga ng topper nila sa gusto mong topper

Sana shakeys does something about this. Palpak yung authorized supplier nila ng cake. It's either they drop Iko's or at least have some options - mga 3 suppliers which customers can choose from... Parang di ok sakin kasi if the cake (and desserts) cant be served because it came from outside supplier. It's for the kids to enjoy while celebrating/partying. Unless of course, you purposely intend not to serve it right there and then.

Korek mga sis, gusto ko talaga ma enjoy ng lahat ng bisita especially the kids ang cake and cupcakes at hindi pang display lang, I think cake and cupcakes, isa yan sa life of the party, kumbaga, important sahog siya, kaya sana makarating to sa Shakey's, I am planning nga to write Shakey's Philippines, kaso sabi ng husband ko, baka daw mawalan ng hanapbuhay ang Iko's, eh ako pa daw pagbuntungan ng galit.


at sila pa talaga may ganang magalit sa akin, LOL! Ang husband ko kasi, siya yung type ng ayaw ng hassle, LOL.

Update sa lasa ng Ikos Cake:

Nung malagay sa fridge, sing tigas na ng bloke yung cake, as in para siyang malutong na brownie, hindi na namin makain.

Charged to experience na nga lang siguro mga sis, kaya babala sa mga mommies, kung gusto ninyo ma haybladness like me, kunin ninyo ang Ikos. LOL

Same experience with you sis, hindi ko rin nakuha yung design na gusto ko kase pinalitan nila yung color nung icing plus tumigas din yung cake nung nilagay sa fridge.  Lesson learned, never nakong magpapa-customize ng cake sa kanila!

Hindi, ang siste, tatanggapin nila yung order, papaasahin ka na ganung design, pero iba ang gagawin nila.

Tapos, grabe yung tigas ng cake, ngayon lang ako naka kita ng ganun, nailagay lang sa ref, hindi na naging cake, LOL.

Bahala ang Iko's, kung ayaw nila magbago, I doubt na may umulit pa silang client after ma experience ang cake nila.

^yes sis  sana palitan na ni shakeys yan, although wala ako reklamo sa baptismal cake namin i still feel for what they did, naiinis talaga ako sa mga nasasayang na pera!

Actually sis, hesitant din ako nung una na sa kanila magpagawa but since I like their choco moist cake plus malapit lang yung store nila sa'min, so I decided na sa kanila na lang. Buti na lang kamo yung birthday ng daughter ko kami-kami lang family members. Hindi ko ma-imagine na magbabayad ako, magbibigay ng design tapos hindi ko naman makukuha yung resultang gusto ko. No wonder why hanap ako ng hanap ng official website nila kahit fb account eh wala, contact number lang ang nahanap ko, takot siguro ma-assassinate ng nega feedback!

hala! I ordered pa naman 100 cupcakes from Iko's for my baby's christening. My goodness.. I told them pa nga baka sa kanila na rin ako oorder ng 2 tier cake.. tapos may ganito akong mababasa, buti na lang hindi ako nagpadalos dalos.. kasi gusto ko rin yung cake personalize eh, baka mamya malungkot din ang topper, patay! may pagka pintasero pa naman mga guests namin, baka mapulaan pa. thank you very much sa feedbacks mga sis. malaking tulong!

@Snowball - Sorry to hear about your experience with Iko's. When my daughter had her 1st birthday party at Shakey's El Pueblo, Iko's din ang ini-insist nila pero hinde talaga ko pumayag. I was supposed to sign a waiver eh hinde naman nila nagawa. I had Swirls n Sprinkles make my daughter's cake and ucpcakes. Sya talaga eversince ang gumagawa and never pa ko nagka-bad feedback sa kanya. Na-refer ko na din sya to some of my GTalker friends here. On my daughter's 2nd birthday (next week), we're having a family lunch lang at home but I ordered 24 pieces of cupcakes with minnie mouse toppers. 1500 lang quote nya, not bad na. I also like the taste of her cupcakes. Hinde ako mahilig sa chocolate cakes but I supe rlike her choco moist cake with hershey's butter cream filling.

we already booked Joy San Gabriel yesterday. sobrang saya ko kasi available pa sya sa bday ng baby ko. one slot left nalang daw kaya swerte talaga kami.

natutuwa ako sa kanya she has a LOT of suggestions and masipag sumagot ng inquires sa phone. hehe! ang pinaka natuwa ako is nagsusuggest sya ng mas practical at mas makakatipid kami na pwedeng gawin for my baby's cake. She said, she is a practical person because she knows how hard it is to earn money. i love this supplier! mabibilang mo lang ang ganito na hindi mukhang pera sobrang bait pa sumagot sa customer.. to think ha, she's very busy and famous sa wedding industry.

I was considering her for our wedding before but she quoted me 50K and her flavors for fondant cake were limited. Her cakes are divine though! Hmmm maybe I should reach out to her for my daughter's first birthday also...

^^ suki din ako ni nadine/swirlsnsprinkles, 1st and 4th bday cake ng daughter ko sa kanya ko pinagawa. Masarap yung cakes nya, di dry.
Next time parang gusto ko itry kitchen krafts, tagal na nung last order ko from them pero nasarapan din ako kasi yung icing is marshmallow icing if im not mistaken. Gusto ko din itry estrels pero both kasi ang layo from our place.

I was considering her for our wedding before but she quoted me 50K and her flavors for fondant cake were limited. Her cakes are divine though! Hmmm maybe I should reach out to her for my daughter's first birthday also...

mag uusap palang kami sa November sis planning to get mini cakes with small cake for topper then flowers nalang as design.. give aways na din sa guests ang mini cakes.

^very yummy cakes nya esp her blueberry cheesecake & mango cheesecake. Your guests will surely love it. nung first time ko sa kanya okay lang yung free taste pero pag actual order mo na, super yummy. I should order again from her for my daughter's montly bday.

This month is going to be Estrel's. Sa 6th month nya on october naman les sucreries. Sa november undecided pa. Maybe alex franco muna. I want to know how delish his cake is.

^^ yes sis, member ako ng weddingsatwork dati and puro raves lang nababasa ko about her kahit medyo pricey sya compare sa iba pero worth it.

Their creations look so nice. I hope they taste as good as they look. My nephew's birthday will be next summer and this is my short-list of cake suppliers (in addition to kitchen kraft etc - those faves of mommies here, but not iko's. Haha!)

^Try mo din sis ang Claycakes. Ang ganda at ang sarap ng cake although pricey also. Pero worth it.
Si Kitchen Krafts, eye-catching talaga ang designs. Although mas masarap ang lasa ng Claycakes. Pero mas affordable si Kitchen Krafts.
