It depends on your definition of typical bec it can be subjective. I havent tried Ikos though so I cant compare.

ang alam ko sis may branch ng savemore dun na sila ang affiliated bakeshop...
hindi na sila nagcu-customize pero panalo ang lasa as in! sila ang cake supplier ng shakeys as far as i know.. try mo sis minsan promise hindi ka magsisisi
balikan kita pag nakita ko kun saan sa kyusi un savemore branch na me ganon!

malayo kase sis ang shoppersville, ang Ikos naman may mga affiliated savemore tied-ups sila, so may mga anim na savemore along north, east & south na puwedeng mapagbilhan.. sobrang curious na nga ako sa shoppersville kaya as soon as may time, bibili talaga ako IMO lang po..

@sachism, sugarbox cake supplier ko simula before up to 2010. Tapos abagofgoodies last yr, this yr sheryberry. Sa bday ito ng anak ko. Sa ibang okasyon naman or dagdag cake sa bday nya  naitry ko na ang bizu, kitchen krafts, angelyn tan, gel colet at french kiss.

Mas ok nga quality ng shoppersville kaysa sa iko's. Yung lasa at hitsura better talaga shoppersville sa panlasa ko. Ayun nga lang malayo masyado ang qc sa mga taga south. Aside sa iko's na option dahil ok naman lasa, pwede rin ang aggy's sa mga taga south na kino-consider rin na mura/sulit makuha na supplier.

Share ko lang din, although hindi eto ang current topic. Masarap yung cake ng Les Sucreries and surprisingly, ang mura nya for its size. Star-tipped icing [textspeak!] cake na napili namin. Hindi nga lang namin na-try ang kanilang cupcakes. Madaming nagsabi na masarap cake nila, even the icing. Not too sweet.

Masarap nga sa Shoppersville. I might try Swell Sweets, too next time kasi highly recommended din ni Marose. Pero Both are in Katipunan banda/Eastwood kaya kelangan pa ng approval ni hubby kasi sya taga pick up. hehe.

I also like Estrel's sana, super lapit pa sa amin. I have tried them several times for other occasions but not yet for my daughter's bday. Namamahalan lang ako sa cupcakes nila.

we will still be getting Sid's Party Favors for my son's 1st Birthday Cake. mura lang kase packages nila. sila din kinuha ko sa first birthday ng niece ko and sa binyag ng anak ko. I ordered:

theme: toy story
flavor: mocha

1600 (moist icing) 3 tier disposable tower with 3 dozens cupcake and 8" round cake
350   (fondant icing) 2x2.5" 5 pcs satellite mini cake
100   styro toppers and designs for mini cakes (initials ng name ni baby)
60     styro topper sa 8" round cake para lang mataas yung cake.
300   delivery fee sa manila

super happy sa minnie mouse themed cake ng baby ko last june 30! super sarap, siksik and moist ng cake, tama lang ang tamis niya.. ang ganda pa, pulido and nasunod talaga design na gusto ko, thank you sheryberry sweets!

Wow sis, as early as now booked ka na kay ms shery.  gusto ko rin sana kasi march din bday ng daughter ko kaso hindi pa kami sure kung makakauwi kami ng pinas for her bday party or baka dito nalang sa ibang bansa ipaghanda.

Super happy din ako kay ms shery, we had her for my daughter's baptism and ang sarap talaga ng cake at cupcakes nya. Ang ganda at ang linis pa ng pagkakagawa and i must say not bad na rin yung price nya for the quality of her works naman.
