superwelcome sis megansmomma! Marami nga atang chinese arcs inside ongpin..hehe but  yun arc sa sta.cruz is nasa intersection ng ronquillo at ongpin.  For easy reference din, puwede rin isearch sa google na "dr. tan wikimapia". Dun tama naman yun makikita sa map. 

sis green-aholic, yup nagtatagalog naman ang interpreter/assistant. Pero andun lang sila pag saturday or sunday. Kasi pag nagpupunta kami ng weekdays, pansin ko wala sila. Yun batang doc mas marunong mag-tagalog. Yun si father doc medyo mahirap makaintindi ng tagalog kaya hindi kayo masyado magkakausap.

sis itcha123, ako patuloy pa rin ang take ng western meds for my palpitation despite na nagherbal tea ako. But like what sis shesam12 said, i made sure na may 2 hours na pagitan sila. Btw, baka kaya hindi na jolly si hubby kasi hindi siya hiyang sa western meds nya so puwede rin ask yun western doc baka may other meds, or minsan effect kasi ng gamot for hypertension yun parang nanlalambot or depressed. Nevertheless, hope he gets well soon na.

dun nga pala sa mga pupunta sa clinic ni Dr. Tan, if you can go weekdays mas maganda. Kasi wala masyadong tao especially around 11:00am-12:00nn. Mga 1:00pm lunch break ni father doc tapos nag-resume ata ng clinic around 2:30pm na.

thanks sa concern mga sis, we went kanina mabuti at maaga kami dumating yung batang Dr. Tan ang dinatnan namin madami ng pasyente, we choose herbal tea medicine kaysa dun sa capsule.  Reminder lang po if you will use herbal tea bawal gamitin sa pagpapakulo ang aluminum & stainless, only stoneware or glassware lang ang pwede.  Regarding sa finding kay hubby tama lahat ang sinabi niya, pati na rin yung finding sa akin.  We will be back after 3 days. 

Nakalimutan ko nga pala itanong kay Doc ano ba ang dapat maunang inumin sa herbal at western medicine? salamat po sa sasagot.

hi all
i am suffering from severe anxiety and panick attacks and i want to visit dr tan for this but issue is my anxiety is soo bad that it is very very hard for me to go out of house. if somehow i manage to go there, i can't wait in line to see him. kindly help me with these q's

is there any way to get an appointment ( dont have to wait bcoz i cant) or else which days are less busy and what time is best ?
is there a possibility of his giving an exclusive time for a special fee so i can discuss my problems in detail ?
Should i insist on seeing dr Tan himself or his other drs are equally good ?
Is there anyone who can read and understand english there becoz i  take some med that i want him to know and i have few other concerns that i want to discuss with him
How bad is the tea and how often it makes u go for pee ( going to loo frequently is an issue)
If tablets are chosen, then approx how many tablets u have to take at one time ?

^ not sure pero mukhang hindi pwede ang special sessions. Or why don't you send someone in advance and ask in your behalf? Punta siya ng super aga ng weekday para maikli pa ang pila. Mas madaling makaintindi ng English/Tagalog yung mas batang Dr. Tan so I suggest it's better to go to him language-barrier wise.

Pero, na try mo na ba ang western medicines? Like a psychiatrist?

Hi there...I went at Dr. Tan's clinic yest with my mom. Inabutan namin yung batang Tan. Walang pasyente kame palang. Kahit nakaopen pa cellphone namin hindi nya nalaman. Pero mukang tama naman diagnosis nya samin.Kasunod namin isang girl na nakawheel chair di na namin inusyoso anong sakit. Anghirap pala dun open na open tapos maririnig nung ibang patient yung sakit mo.

Mas magaling ba yung matandang doktor?

I asked him kung okay lang sa bfeeding yung mga meds and okay naman daw...Yung sa mom ko na meds inabot lang ng 400.

went there yesterday with my daughter and older sister.. medyo nahirap lang umakyat sa stairs kasi nakakalito.. konti pa lang tao nung dumating kami.. tapos may nakasabay kami na naka wheelchair.. sabi nung mama na sobrang humihingal, he was diagnosed of esophagus cancer, stage 4.. kundi daw kila dr. tan baka dead na daw sya ngayon.. yung bata daw ang gumamot sa kanya.. tiis lang daw at tyaga..

anyway, yung check up ko lasted for around 5 mins lang ata.. ang hirap intindihin ni dr. tan na matanda.. nung una hinahanap pa nya yung reseta ko.. tapos abi ko sa kanya first time..ayun pulso pulso tapos tinanong ako kung anong pakiramdam ko, sabi ko i have diabetes and thyroid cyst.. tapos kapa ng konti sa may throat - sabi nya laki na bukol   tapos tiningnan dila.. sabi nya diabetes nga daw.. he asked me kung gusto ko daw ay herbal or capsules..

i chose capsules kasi mas madali ang admistration.. medyo madami nga lang..

wala din sinabi kung kelan babalik pero i plan to go back sa sunday, kasi for 8 days lang daw yung meds na binili ko eh. tinago ko nga yung reseta kasi wala naman sila records dun.. feeling ko sa reseta lang sila nagba-base ng sakit mo..

napansin ko lang.. majority of my meds - 4 na klase yun - e pang disorders of nostrils, lung problems at gastroenteritis.. di naman yun yung complaint ko bakit kaya?? pero yung 1 dun sa gamot is for diabetic

sis it's a NO-NO to use the aluminum in boiling the tea. Magiging toxic daw yata siya pag ganoon, better be safe, bili ka na lang ng clay pot mura lang naman yun.

Nabasa ko kase dito hindi magsstart hanggang may nakaopen na cellphone...Yung samin kase nakaopen pero di naman na pinansin nung batang Tan.

Okay sakin yung effect nung gamot na binigay nya parang cleansing regular na poop ko tapos okay yung texture.

           Magaling si Dr.Tan! ( matandang Tan)...Nagpaconsult ako sa kanya...pinulsuhan ako at tiningnan and dila ko...sabi nia...." Ikaw matris tabingi..subrang tabingi.hindi makukuha sa hilot...., isang obary me problema.,me cyst ka...Saktong sakto sa findings ko sa ultrasound ko....Sabi pa nia...isang anak lang kaya pwede....Talagang nabuhayan ako ng loob doon......laga ang pinili ko na reseta...this sat...follow up..balik kami ni hubby....pero try ko naman yung batang Tan.....si hubby gusto dun sa matanda....ako naman sa bata...try ko naman capsules....

ako naman sabi ni younger Dr. Tan, I have low blood and probably, slight goiter. Pero I had tests before and laging normal naman blood pressure ko and normal hormone levels ko...now I dunno kung sino papaniwalaan ko

For those of you who has PCOS na binigyan ng herbal medicine, how was it? And did
you stop taking contraceptive pills nung nag herbal na kayo? I also have pcos and i got
really fat na and acne prone.  I really want to try this herbal doctor instead of taking pills
all my life para naman ma preggy din ako. 

How about mga IBS and gastritis patients, may na treat na?

nagpaconsult ako kay dr.tan(the father), noong nov 2012 kasi 2years na akong walang menstruation. i was already diagnosed with pcos before and was prescribed provera and metformin. hindi ko lang tinuloy ang paginom kasi mas nahihirapan ako sa side effects.

kay dr tan, pinulsuhan lang nya ako, pero nasabi nyang may pcos ako, hormonal imbalance, plus gall stones & heart issues. pinili ko ang pills, mga 4 na chinese herbal medicines ang nireseta nya sakin good for 15days. aside from that, may binigay pa syang list ng mga bawal kong kainin.

i took the pills religiously, mga 3-4 tablets per medicine for 3 times a day. i also followed the diet plan, and even limited my rice intake to 1-2 cups a week. i also restricted my wheat products consumption to once a week.

i am happy to say na my menstruation is back to normal since january 2013. i also lost a lot of weight, from 250lbs in dec 2012 to 200lbs as of today. i only took the medicine for 15days, but with the diet ill follow it for life na kasi feel ko ito ang nakatulong sakin ng husto.

Sis, if you do not mind, can you share your diet. I am also a patient of Dr. Tan and I have the same case as yours. My menstruation is regular now after my second consultation with him. Kaya lang I find it hard to lose weight. Thanks
