^^ ako rin sis 2012 rin ako nangarap makarating ng Calaguas pero nauna ko pang na reached ang caramoan hehe. basta one day, mararating din kita Calaguas :-)

Hi sissies, me and bf are planning to go to Calaguas this November and we're both first timers so please be patient enough to answer all my queries, nag backread na din ako, sobrang dami ko na din tanong.

camping lang ba ang peg sa calaguas? no rooms for rent with private cr?
2 lang kami, is it better ba if we avail group packages? i read na mahirap mag diy and mahal.
ano pwede activities? or beach bumming lang talaga?
usually how much ang budget?

^ hi sis! Yup mainly camping. May kubo resort dun na may maayos na CR. 2 of you can avail package para hassle free. Likely same din naman ang expense, kung DIY kayo, you need to bring your own tent, utensils, food, etc. whereas kung package, wala ka na iisipin, hehe. Walang activities doon except for island hopping and trekking. 
Budget 4k kasya na kasama na dun pasalubong.

You can try http://www.walingecovillage.com/. The Cabana is Php3500/night. No private CR, common restroom sila but malinis. Definitely way way better then those sa camping sites. If beach bumming lang ang sarap tumambay sa mga Cabana nila. If November kayo I suggest check lagi the weather. Last year pumunta si hubby with his friends medyo malakas ang alon and it rained nung stay nila.

Meron na rin atang kalaban yung waling waling yung "i love calaguas" parang kubo resort din daw common restroom pero malinis din daw

^sis you can search melvic brinas. He is daet based and he offers package to Calaguas.
From manila to Daet (DLTB bus) daet to vinzons susunduin nia kayo, then vinzons to Calagua, and until you go back to Manila.

We got his package for 2,500 last 2013.

Some said na Paracale way is less maalon, but sometimes kasi depende rin iyon sa hangin. Vinzon's water is called "basagan" and sabi nila, super maalon raw. But nung magbyahe kami, ok naman. Minsan nga flat ang tubig dun. Depende lang talaga sa mood ng hangin. tee hee!. Enjoy scouting!

northlink kami last year. paid 2,200 each. 550 per person ata, superlines, one way.  ok naman ang food na sinerve nila. di ka mabibitin kasi buffet.

mas preferred ko ang group travel. ayaw ko kasi ng maraming bitbit. hahaha..

Which is the best bus company among the 3 na papunta daet? Superlines, Philtranco or DLTB? yung clean and comfy..

^if u are after the comfort and cleanliness of bus, go for the 29-seater bus of DLTB. I forgot what they call that bus but one way fare is 800 pesos. They have daily trip at 8 or 9 PM.

I am a loyal Superlines commuter kasi since college. Haha! Even may maduduming bus and mababagal sometimes, mababait kasi drivers and conductors, polite and helpful to their commuters. 😊😊

I rode once in Philtranco during college and never  na ko umulit, super bilis kasi ng patakbo and rude pa driver and conductor.

I talked to northlink na, they offered me yung 2D/1N tour worth 2,500/head.. not included pa ang van or bus to Daet.. sabi ng friends ko mahal daw yun.. ano sa tingin nyo girls?

I agree with you sis. Mas preferred ko din ang Superlines, mababait kasi ang driver at conductor Kahit pa minsan yung ibang bus nila luma na, careful naman magmaneho ang mga drivers. Hindi katulad sa DLTB, nakakatakot magmaneho lalo na kapag ordinary bus.

my bf and i are going to visit calaguas. ang nauna naming option for group packages ay van ang transpo. kaso iniisip ko baka di kami comfy dun especially kung madami kami? what do you think guys?

^For me, hindi sya comfy because of limited leg room kung standard van to.

iyan ang disadvantage pag van ang gagamitin. masakit sa katawan ang byahe. lalo na kung siksikan kayo sa van plus gamit pa. ang advantage naman nyan eh makakauwi kayo sa oras na gusto nyo.
