Hubby is in the ICU right now

Last monday something really bad happened, di ko talaga inaasahan na mangyayari yun kasi wala naman siyang sakit tapos ok naman siya nung morning.

Basta around 4 pm bigla nalang niya ako tinawag then humingi siya ng water, di daw siya makahinga, masakit ang batok niya and di nya magalaw ang left arm niya. Pero nakakausap ko pa siya ng maayos, he asked for a shirt sabi ko pupunta na kami hospital kaso hindi niya kaya tumayo mag isa kaya humingi ako tulong sa mga neighbors namin kasi nasa kwarto siya sa 2nd floor, pag akyat nila suka na siya ng suka hanggang sa maibaba siya, tinulungan kami ng kawagad siya nagdala sa amin sa hospital gamit yung multi cab ng baranggay.

Sa sasakyan unconscious na siya, yung daughter namin super umiiyak na, super confused na ko, di ko na alam kung ano gagawin, within 15 minutes nasa UST na kami, his BP is normal naman daw kaya pina CT scan siya tapos dun na nalaman na may pumutok na ugat sa ulo niya, super nakakabigla lang kasi hindi namin alam pano nagkaganon. That same night inoperahan siya para maalis yung tubig at mga namumuo na dugo sa ulo niya, ok naman yung naging operation pero until now andun pa yung tubo sa ulo niya para i flush yung dugo sa ulo, kailangan mag clear muna yun bago alisin.

They need to stabilize his condition bago pa siya i angiogram, di ko alam kung ano dapat ko iexpect, super naaawa ako pag nakikita ko siya.

He can move his hands now pero unresponsive pa siya and sabi ng doctors restless daw siya.

Parang ako nahihirapan for him. I just want everything to get back to the way it used it be.

Sana maging ok na siya, feeling ko kasi madami din ako pagkukulang ko, feeling ko di ko naparamdam na mahal ko siya dahil sa mga differences namin pero right now sobrang nagsisisi ako na di ko nagawang mag compromise sa mga gusto niya.

Sorry to hear that sis. but for now, kelangan mo maging strong. marami na din akong narinig na ganyang kwento. prior to that wala ba siyang nararamdaman? or baka binalewala lang? will pray for his fast recovery. be strong sis

^^sis, sabi lang niya a day before that is medyo nangangalay daw braso nya, minsan sumasakit ulo niya pero akala namin normal headache lang. sobrang bigla lang talaga.. thanks sis..

i can feel you...my then bf now hubby was once in ICU also...super hirap ng pakiramdam...you wanna spend your whole day praying lang...and crying while walking in the road...

That's really sad, I hope and pray your husband recovers soon.

Super scary though yung nangyari, medyo LDR kami ni hubby now, twice a month lang kami nagkikita for 3 days each time, baka may sakit-sakit na yan binabalewala lang =( Sana, sana all our husbands stay well and strong kasi mahirap when they get seriously sick

Yes, when  a husband lands in the ICU, we see/get past all the differences/hurts/resentment, etc.  Do not feel guilty about the past, your perceived shortcomings/lack of patience, etc... What matters is that you are there now for him.

Take care of yourself, it is time to be strong for your family.  Your husband needs you now to be clear-headed.

nowadays, di talaga dapat pinagwawalang bahala ang saket ng ulo..
ganyan din sa mom ko, akala ng lahat, regular headeache.. di pala...

thanks to everyone, i really needed that..

just got back from the hospital, mom naman niya muna magbabantay, i was supposed to take some rest pag umuuwi kaso hindi din ako makatulog pag andito na ko sa bahay.

so far sabi ng doctor niya ok naman daw ang progress, ang prob lang is may fever siya right now, nakakadilat na siya pero di pa nakakakita ulit, hopefully maging ok na yun.

by monday baka isara yung sa ulo niya then CT scan after 24 hours to check kung hindi na magkaka hydro pag nag clear yun baka isched na siya for CT Angiogram pero pag hindi balik nanaman yung tubo, so sana talaga mag clear ang CT scan niya.
