Singapore Job hunting

I've worked with Edelman Singapore before even if nakareside ako sa Pinas. I still get the same salary of my counterparts in SG. So why leave di ba? My family is here. I don't need to live alone in a far place.

I get my paycheck from Western Union every 30th of the month. Okay na rin.

Actually, i wouldn't recommend na mghanap now ng work dito sg. kabila kabila ang mga rejected passes. lalo na yung mga E-pass na downgrade to S-pass which is ang quota now is 1:3. 1 local to 3 foreigners. madami na ngrereklamo ngayon na mga employers kasi understaff na sila.like last night, kumain kami sa thai express, 2 nalang cla ngseserve e super daming tao. pinay sya, then we asked bakit parang kulang ang staff, them she told me quota na sila. mangiyak ngiyak nga kasi super daming customer tas 2 sila!

Kagagaling lang ng friend ko sa SG as a tourist visa, sad to say hnd sia nakahanap ng work within a month.. Mahirap na daw ngaun mghanap ng work sa SG. [textspeak!] prioritize na mga citizens dun mismo.

It is really is more difficult for people to find work in sg, every year na lumilipas pahirap ng pahirap. But sometimes it also comes down to a person's luck

^i have a friend too hindi graduate kakapunta lang nya sa SG 3 weeks ako kahapon nakita ko nagpost sya sa fb papasok na daw sya sa work. call center agent din sya dito tsaka online teacher sa koreans

usually for insurance, they are into system integration and development so medyo IT side pa rin though line of business is insurance.  pero of course, luck pa rin kasi nga mahigpit na SG ngayon in getting foreign workers.

Pahirapan ma approve ang RENEWAL ng pass, marami ring nare-reject.

Mahirap makahanap ng trabaho at hindi rin madali ma-approve ng MOM.

@yabbikins, i'm not sure kung anong type of work ang maraming opening ngayon sa field ng insurance. One thing is for sure, basta sales laging may opening kahit saang industry pa yan. Have you already tried applying? Pag nagkataon baka pwede ako sayo kumuha, namimili na kasi ako ng insurance

sis kalaiyaan, yan din ang mga naririnig ko.. although from my close friends and common friends, wala pa naman akong alam na nareject yung renewal ng work pass nila.. depende din siguro sa company yun..

another kwento: yung friend ng mom ko.. nursing aid siya.. nireject yung renewal ng pass niya by end of last year.. so napilitan bumalik sa pinas.. but then 6 months after I think nagkaron ulit ng vacancy sa work niya sa tinawagan siya ng agency if pwede siya then approve naman yung pass.. she's back here na..

Mageexam pa lang ako sis. After the exam pa lang ako magaapply. Pero sales sa financial industry talaga background ko. Madameng opening sa sales pero karamihan gusto marunong ng mandarin eh konti lang alam ko dun. Pero there's no harm in trying i believe naman na if its His will, darating din ang SG dream natin

Just to add.. I have a friend in SG... the salary as said by her employer is SGD$2000 and sa contract but sad to say, palabas lang yun dahil sa batas ata nila or what...pero ang totoong salary pay lang nya SGD$1400 lang talaga.
