Yes sa may landmark and IMO better ang food sa Heat than sa Raffles Hotel. We paid around 2K plus per person. Di ko na ma-remember exact price.

Nag-avail ako last year ng promo sa Heat, I posted na here my review dati. Medyo nabitin ako kasi parang ang daming kulang sa spread nila. When we went there for lunch on a weekday, walang lechon, walang shrimp, walang lamb, walang steak, walang ribs. Ang meron that time ay duck, steamed crab, and tempura. Pero super sarap ng tempura nila and sashimi.

Oh really?  I haven't tried the buffet at cafe ilang ilang but it must be really good. 

I really don't believe on what the deal sites are offering.  They give you a discount, but they will also remove something on the product or menu on this case db?  I am done buying from group sites

I dont think naman that deal sites call the shots on what to remove on the menu. Remember that the buffets are also open for paying customers, not just deal buyers.

^^yeah there's often a catch with deals sis. Like, the time marriot offered a promo for their buffet, the spread was limited. And so were the spreads of circles and cafe jeepney when they had their promo. But with market cafe, promo or no promo, they don't scrimp with their spread.

^Agree sis sa Market Cafe! Twice na ko kumain dun gamit Deal Grocer voucher, wow sarap. Pati 7 Corners ok din, Deal Grocer din gamit ko

@twelvth_goddess - agree with that, unless they had a separate buffet spread for voucher holders it's seems that's just their normal fare. I do noticed though that circles is not what is used to be, and same can be said with heat compare to years before, inagiku was nice, hope it still is, cafe jeepney spread is really forgetable since way back. And also more often than not hotels offer better buffet spread for dinner.

^Accor is not just for Sofitel. Accor covers several hotel chains (i.e., Sofitel, Novotel, ibis, Grand Mercure Roxy). pero sa Pinas, alam ko Sofitel lang ang Accor hotel. pero kung mag-travel ka abroad, merong mga Accor hotels and you can also use your card there. sa Singapore ko actually nakuha yung card ko when we stayed at ibis. pero yung sa akin, yung free card lang, i didn't upgrade. meron silang iba't-ibang cards w/ different benefits. just Google them.

To clarify, dito sa Philippines, its called Accor Advantage Card. Pag nagpamember ka ng sofitel, you're availing the Accor Advantage membership that has a free night to Sofitel Manila, or other sofitel hotels in Asia, or other Accor hotels, like Novotel hotels in Hong Kong (we will soon have a Novotel hotel in Araneta Center), Sofitel in Macau, Ibis hotels in singapore, Jakarta Indonesia, and many more hotels in bangkok. So kung magpamember ka sa Sofitel Manila, you're actually not just restricted to Sofitel but also has the option to avail the free night in other hotels in Asia. Feeling ko lang mas sulit if you avail your free night in Sofitel because its their high end hotel chain. And when you avail Accor Advantage here in the Philippines, you get other vouchers na for Sofitel lang like 50% discount for 10 diners in Spiral, etc. Pero yung 10% off best available rate is applicable in Asia! Nakakatuwa kasi when I availed the membership, we used the free night sa hong kong, and booked for other rooms for family and nakamura din kami kasi may discount nga from best available rate! Whole year ang discount. They have this website dedicated to all members and you can search hotels there kasi madami nga sila hotels and ipapakita dun yung best available rate and kung magkano nalang para sa members. Yung 50% off buffet when two dine in is also applicable in their hotels in Asia, not just here in the Philippines. Not all hotels, pero most 4 and 5 star hotels that I checked, kasama naman sa list na applicable yung 50% off when two dine in.

We had the breakfast buffet at Escolta yesterday.  I liked the baked salmon, beef sausage, chicken adobo and pork siopao.  The yogurt is not as good as Shangri-La's homemade yogurt.  May ice cream station so my kids enjoyed too.  Yung bacon super oily so I skipped that.

The waiters were attentive kahit na full ang restaurant and maraming waiting customers sa reception.

Breakfast buffet of camp john hay's le Monet is ok din but it can't compare to the manor's breakfast buffet spread. Was in Baguio two weekends in a row as respite from the scorching manila heat.
