sis syana, will you be undergoing the egg retrieval cycle in May?  When did you start consulting with Kato? I wanted to know if how early my wife and I should start consulting with katoh so we can have our egg retrieval cycle in December 2015.

^ hi bpc_dnd! yes, we're planning to have our egg retrieval this may or april. we had our initial consultation with kato last july 2014 after we attended the seminar. di pa kami tumuloy nun for the ivf kc may immune problems pa akong kailangan itreat.

thanks sis syana.  So you will be undergoing ivf a year after your initial consultation.  Thanks for this info.  I thought consulting this early (10/11 months early) for a december 2015 ivf may seem to be absurd but now i know that it is not since you did the same (although you had to resolve your immune problem first).  I hope my wife does not have any problem so it would not move our target date and so it will no longer complicate this already difficult path we are taking.

Hi Gemini. Yes this is my first ivf. Wala actually ako any big preparation pero i lost weight prior the transfer. And then after i took days off from work. Sakto nga papal visit so wala talagang work. Pero hindi naman ako total bed rest o still move around para din daw better circulation. So i do light work sa kitchen then walk the dog. Ganun lang. Pero hindi ako naligo for 3 days and socks all the time. Hehe. I also tried the pineapple core i figured wala namang mawawala.

Basically that's all I did.

Thank you so much sis sa sagot. What is pineapple core? Guided ka ba ng doctor amd staffs what to do after transfer? Natatakot kasi ako, failed ivf ako years ago pero sa ibang center kaya when i heard about kato ayan nabuhayan ako.
Nagtaka yung mga nurses and staff sa center kasi lahat ng blood test ko okay after my transfer pero a day bago mag due for test sumakit lang bigla yung tummy ko kinabahan na daw sila when i reported it. Di na rin nila ako nasagot kung bakit ganon. eh bed rest naman ako the whole time Pero di ko nagawa na di maligo. salamat sa thread na ito. Nakakagana lalo na sa inyo na talaga willing na willing to share. Take care sis Leighnie.

Hi. Hindi naman kailangan succesive months ang retrieval and transfer. Like ako, July ako nag retrieval and December nagpatransfer. We postponed it kasi may mga scheduled travels pa kami ni hubby.

ah, pwede pala yun.  masama ba kung in succession ang months ng egg retrieval at egg transfer?  kasi baka bugbog pa katawan ng babae dahil sa gamit na nilagay sa katawan nila nung egg retrieval?  ano ba ang mas ideal or recommended na gap ng month ng egg retrieval at egg transfer.  gusto sana ni misis eh nov ang retrieval at dec ang transfer.

sa mga naka BFP sa kato, ilang embryo ang inimplant sa inyo? gusto sana namin ni misis isa lang eh para single child lang.  wala kasing magaalalaga ng bata pag twins eh.

Wala naman talagang pinagbawal pero iwas na rin ako sa softdrinks to be safe na lang.

Pero chips di ko pa rin talaga matangal.

Hi mga sis! Lurker lang ako dito ever since. Visited kato last july2014 pa and came back this month. Already had my day2 w kato. We paid 10k plus. Scheduled po muna ako for hsg on day10. And follicle monitoring na on day12. Since we are not living in manila, doc ong ask me if ano gusto namin, minimal stimulation ba or natural ivf. Kasi daw sa stimulated ivf, marami eggs makuha then marami options. While sa natural ivf, 1 egg lang daw yung inaabangan. Since yung natural ivf pinunta namin sa kato, nag stick kami sa plan. Natakot ako mga sis baka mali pinili namin. Normal naman po lahat results w me and dh. We are 29 and 30 yrs old pa naman po.

Tanong ko mga sissies, ok lang kaya pinili ko natural ivf?

hi sis Carylldax if you were ovulating on your own naman okay naman ang natural ivf. minsan mas reliable pa sya than taking meds. Goodluck and God bless!

Sis, natural IVF ako sa Kato. Surprisingly, 3 eggs nakuha sa akin although 1 lang ang nag fertilize. First IVF ko iyon and now I have my 7 month old son. Don't worry much about your age as long as you and hubby are healthy. I was 36 when I got pregnant. =)

Hi mga sissies! Done w hsg dye for today 1pm. Ang sakit lang po. Sabi nila mas worst daw sa dysminorrhea ang panganganak. Yun! Para akong nanganak. Until now po 11pm na. Masakit parin puson ko igalaw. Huhu. Mefenamic bestfriend ko tonight.

Sis, iha-handle ka ng Kato until your 9th or 10th week of pregnancy. After that, you need to consult with your own obgyne.

Yung isang buong pineapple core hahatiin mo into 5 equal parts. Kakain ka ng 1 part a day for 5 days (after a positive pregnancy is confirmed). Avocado also helps before, during, and after IVF. This is for better chances of implantation. The embryologist of Kato advised me not to do bed rest. Dapat daw mobile ka for better blood circulation sa uterus. Basta don't do any strenuous activity.
