Thank you mga sis. Here's what happened to me:
Egg retrieval was November 3, 2012 at Kato. Retrieved were 2 follicles. Muntik pang isa na lang dahil nakaburst na pala yung isa, buti nahabol ni Dra. Perillo (2nd in command sa Kato). #1 follie made it to blasto at exactly 5 days. #2 follie became blasto at 6 days. They froze the two, #1 grade A (they have their own grading) and #2 grade C. They dont transfer on the same cycle kase, this is in order to have your uterus, ovaries, get enough rest. Which by the way is scientifically proven to up the success of your IVF.
Nov. 21- AF came. I'm so excited because i'm supposed to have my transfer this cycle. But to my dismay, on nov. 30 my CD10, it was cancelled because, would you believe, according to my blood tests I ovulated at DAY 7! Hindi na pwedeng mahabol. kung magtatransfer daw kami parang nagtapon lang kami ng blasto. Who would've thought na nireregla ka pa eh nag oovulate ka na pala. Impossible but it happened to me. So they've put me on pills for 12 days to reset my period ika nga dahil it's messed up.
Dec. 19- AF came, CD1
Dec. 20- CD2, went to Kato. My transfer was automatically cancelled AGAIN because they found a humongous follie na dapat wala na kase nga nagka AF na ko. So they've induced na maburst yung follie then i was put again on pills for 12 days.
Jan. 12- CD1
Jan. 13 - CD2. Went to Kato. I was so happy because Dra. Perillo said, we're good to go for the transfer!
Jan. 29 - transfered 2 blasto, grades A & D after thawing. They only transfer 1 talaga para maiwasan ang dangers ng twin pregnancy. Pero 2 tinransfer sa akin dahil [textspeak!] I don't have any more blastocysts/embryos left frozen and [textspeak!] dahil grade C yung isa so baka hindi rin naman magiging good ang kapit kung iiwan pa. But don't be disheartened kung grade C yung blasto nyo sa Kato dahil may nakasabay ako, 1 grade C blasto were trasnfered to her at Kato and she's pregnant na. she's 39 years old, first baby, first IVF. Nung nameet ko sya may heartbeat na si baby. I asked her what did she do, sabi nya "I ate a lot of avocados". Nabasa ko rin yun sa net na mas ok kung avocados itake ng mga blasto transfer kesa yung pineapple core kase ang pineapple core ay para sa mga 2day or 3 day embryo transfer. So kumain din ako ng avocado pero hindi naman masyado kase hindi ako mahilig dun.
What I did that I believe led me to this miracle pregnancy:
1. August pa lang araw araw na kong nagrorosary. it was during my IUI#1 which failed. Pero I didn't stop with my rosary. I was determined to prove to Mama Mary na hindi ako mawawalan ng faith sa Kanila inspite of this drawback.
2. November, I started knowing and going to St. Pio Chapel in Libis almost every Sunday. Hindi man ako makasimba, pero tuloy tuloy novena ko sa kanya sa bahay. Kahit nung nacancel ng 2x ang transfers ko, hindi ako tumigil magnovena. 2 weeks before transfer, umattend ako ng 12pm mass, i sat sa side para sa mga sick people. I told myself, yeah i'm technically sick with my infertility history. Then ang swerte ko, the great Ramon Rodriguez ang nag pray over sa amin isa isa. Theh I told him, i could not get pregnant. And you know what he told me, "Hindi mo ba alam na anak ang pinakamadaling hilingin kay Padre Pio? Isulat mo ang pangalan mo at ng asawa mo at ipagdadasal ko kayong bigyan ng anak. Pero ipangako mo sa akin, basta lagyan mo ng Pio or Pia ang pangalan ng baby mo." Grabe naiyak ako mga sis. Nagmadali akong kumuha ng papel at pen, sinulat ko pinapasulat nya then dali dali bumalik ako to give it to him.
3. I've never gone to Quiapo church, kahit nadadaanan ko yun dati. Feeling ko kase im unworthy. Pero naglakas loob ako friday before my transfer. Sabi nila matutupad hiling mo pag first time kang pumasok sa isang simbahan, eh Poong Nazareno pa yun na miracle worker talaga. So humiling ako.
4. Lifestye changes were, i stopped drinking Coke or softdrinks since November. Tubig lang talaga ako. No cold drinks for me too, kahit tubig ko hindi malamig. Hindi na rin ako tee hee! sa maasim at matamis na food pero in moderation lang naman ginawa ko dahil I love to eat noh.
5. After transfer, i went home, suot ng socks kagad at lagi ako nakakumot. Bed rest ako for 2 days then gumalaw galaw na rin ako pero naka medyas pa rin ako ha at jogging pants hehe. Gusto daw kase ng embies/blasto ng warm feet at warm uterus. Walang tanggalan ng medyas, pero syempre nagpalit naman ako. Wet wipes lang gamit ko after peeing dahil ayoko mabasa feet ko at socks. Syempre pag poo ako wash noh hahaha.
6. Nag warm water lang ako, ayoko kase ng soup dahil puro MSG at alat lang kako yun. So i opted for warm water lang.
7. Naligo ako 3 days after transfer hehe...
Napakahaba I know, pero this is my only way para makatulong. Nung araw na sinabi sa kin na positive ako, nagrorosary ako sa pocket ng jeans ko habang naghihintay. Nga pala, last last week sa kato sabi dun, 6 daw nagpostive sa Kato last january. Then may nakasabay ako, 41 years old from the US. 2x na syang nagpa IVF sa US pero failed. Then she went dito sa Pinas, pinay to ha, and boom POSITIVE sa KATO. Then sumunod na week nameet ko yung positive na 39 years old na grade C ang blasto ha, then the day na nalaman kong postive ako, may nameet ako nauna lang sa akin ng 2 weeks at may heartbeat na si baby. Before I left Kato, may nakasabay ako for egg retrieval sya, kakatapos lang. Then, i gave her yung novena prayer kay St. Pio. She was so thankful. Sabi ko, St. Pio gave me my miracle.
