Sis I don't think you need to worry about anything.  When I was pregnant with my baby girl halos whole time I was pregnant e meron akong genital infection.  Not warts though pero na CS ako kaya ok lang..after the delivery hindi nag stop infection and after a year i was diagnosed with genital warts..for this my new ob treated it with some cream lang na super hapdi and after 3 sessions ok na siya..for the persistent infection naman sa cervix ko she did cryotheraphy and after that ok na ako..I think naman tama ob mo to put you into a C section para safe si baby.  Don't worry your doctor knows what best..

Of course!  this is as per my ob-gyne's information.  She said that most men are just carriers and even if it doesn't bother them or show any signs e pwedeng pwede pa din sila makahawa..

just want to up this thread. i went to my obgyne kahapon and she found genital warts daw. fiance and i googled pics of it, iba ichura nung akin. i am having my second opinion tomorrow. was wondering if may same sa atin ng condition. had only two clean partners ( i assume they are clean unless they cheated). fiance and i are getting married next year and trying to have a baby. ang sabi sa amin ng doc kahapon, 2 years before mawala yung virus basta healthy living. does this mean super duper abstain for 2 years!? :'( even oral sex daw.

parang imposible naman yun, sorry ha. baka madaming magalit sakin :) pero we are getting married and paano naman kami mag aabstain if we want a family. bihira naman daw yung cases affected ang baby and pwede naman daw tanggalin kahit latter part of the pregnancy... pero nalulungkot lang ako kaya ako napa-post dito...

very down kami ni fiance both ngayon. wala kami makausap about it. he had only one girl before me. and then ako rin, just one guy. years ago pa so we don't know if all along (five years na kami) ay mayroon pala kami.. very maliliit yung akin nasa 5pcs na white, halos di makikita. mas maliit pa sa mga white spots/buds na normal sa tongue ng tao...

also, sabi nung doc 5k daw ang cauterize. saan kaya may mas mura? makati med yung doc ko... then 3600 daw yung vaccine/ per shot.

Sis I feel you..I had similar problem before our wedding pero severe infection sa cervix naman sa akin..hope you don't mind..anong klase ang genital warts mo?  Mine is similar to himulmol daw ng twalya according to my ob. Nagkaroon kasi ako ng warts a year after I had my baby..that was in 2013. Pero even before our wedding last 2010 super persistent infection ko..even all throughout my pregnancy and after that. Twice nga ako na confine in the 9 months I got pregnant due to severe infection. Anyhow my ob  during pregnancy and after e hindi nagamot infection ko..so I decide to seek a more knowledgeable doctor..She's an ob specializing in cancer and severe cases.  Not like my previous one na delivery ang specialization. I went to her for my persistent infection pero I was diagnosed with genital warts.  She just treated it with some cream. If you read my previous comments up..you will see what I was talking about.  She did hpv test And biopsy of cervix and after everything went back negative naman then she did cryotherapy sa cervix ko to treat the persistent inflammation or infection ..just today again after 5 long years my pap smear turned out completely clean. Exactly 2 years after my cryotherapy..I would say it did work.. Try to go to Dr.Castro of UPhg,that is the private clinic in Pgh manila.. 2nd floor clinic nya. She will really help you and explain everything..super bait. And don't worry muna..try to be strong for you and your husband to be.  it's better you get treated before having a baby.  Remember a healthy baby starts with a healthy mommy and a healthy pregnancy.

Pa pap smear ka na lang muna, yun naman ang first test to see If you have infection or warts. If you're not satisfied with both doctors then seek another opinion. Better na para mapanatag ka.  Get well soon sis 😃

I undergo cauterization 2 years ago and it cost me almost 19k, tapos ngayun meron na naman ako. Yung new ob na tumingin sakin (same clinic) gusto na naman i cauterize pero parang alangan na ako.
Ano po name ng ob mo? Try ko pa consult sa kanya and if mura i quote nya sakin sa kanya ko n [textspeak!] papagawa

Genital HPV
« Reply #91 on: April 25, 2015, 07:51:32 pm »
I was diagnosed with recurring cervical dysplasia & HPV over 5 years ago (in my early 40's). I had 3 cervical conings (where they freeze the surface cells.) After the 4th positive test result, I decided to take different action. I did a lot of on-line research, which led me to try a new HPV treatment known as "Cervugid Ovules". I took this treatment with Cervugid ovules for 3 courses with breaks between each box (along with additional Vit C and consciously getting more rest, more exercise, and exploring way to de-stress). My next pap and exam proved that I was clear -- and I have never had a problem since. I recommended this treatment with Cervugid Ovules to my sister (she was in her 30's), and 2 neices (early to mid-20s)... they all experienced the same result... future paps and testings were clear. research, educate and pay attention to what treatments you are drawn to. Good luck and good health!!

Yes I discussed with my husband.. Dapat lang kasi asawa mo siya..he needs to know that too.  But the time I was diagnosed with genital warts he was working abroad and the doctor told me most probably I got it because of stress and a weak immune system..same time full breastfed pa si baby and I am not taking any vitamins that time.

ang behavior niya is lumalaki pag basa tapos lumiliit pag tuyo. tapos ngayon daw nag fall off na yung skin at makati.

Pm mo naman sakin kung sino siya sissy kasi feel ko we have the same situation eh. I'll be going to Makati Med too for a second opinion and I hope it comes out negative.

There is another thread here about genital warts sana mamerge ng mods.

I have this also. Not sure paano ko nakuha but I had a few casual sex before, same with my current boyfriend. Based on what I read it'll show within 3 months after infection, so ayun it must be one of us.

Nafeel ko una kasi meron makati I assumed it was just nothing and then when it persisted 2 weeks after ko mapansin, I looked in the mirror and there are 2 bumps nga that looked like skin-toned na butil ng bigas, sorry that's the best I could describe it hehe, and I immediately suspected na genital warts nga. I also have 1 near the anus na I thought was just a rash or something, pero napansin ko it was small naman and bigger than the last time I checked.

Consulted with an ob and had them cauterized. My bf also went for checkup pero wala naman siyang signs of warts.

Sis dcpdane ang mura ng quoted sa'yo for cauterization, mine was about 14k. But I guess it's a case-to-case basis din? Ang sabi kasi ng ob ko hindi na per warts ang bayad dun unli na, and when I went for checkup meron pang ibang nakita bandang labia aside from mga napansin ko nung una. Afterwards was instructed to apply betadine and antibiotic ointment three weeks after treatment para gumaling mga sugat. I read somewhere na cover daw ito ng philhealth but late ko na nalaman. Nagcash out ako since hindi rin siya covered ng medical benefits ng company namin because it's an STD.

Pwede resume sa sex after gumaling mga sagot, but I read na it's still safe to use condom muna the first three months after treatment. Also yun nga nabasa ko rin na 90% of cases naaalis din ang hpv virus sa katawan after 2 years. Healthy living yes and importante din malakas ang immune system.

I realized mas okay pala nagpavaccine na ko noon pa. Still, planning to get Gardasil as soon as budget allows.

Yun lang. Wrote this kasi I was searching before and ang konti ng lumalabas na info sa internet. When I searched pa one of the first things I read was paano daw sasabihin sa asawa because the guy who got inflicted was unfaithful haha. OT. :)

Genital warts is a sexually transmitted disease so di yan makukuha ng hubby mo if, as you say, no sexual experience kayo both before meeting each other. It must've come from a past recent -- or another current -- relationship. Best way to know is kausapin mo ng masinsinan yung husband mo.
