hi mga sisses! joining and just want to share my personal experience regarding genital warts and maybe will help you get more knowledge about it. From 2010 naging problem ko na ang vaginosis, naging persistent ito and while always checking with my ob and by giving me medicines na treat naman siya for some time, i became pregnant january of 2011 and delivered the baby via cs. During the entire pregnancy hindi nawala ang vaginitis ko, causing me to get early contraction na pwede daw maging cause ng early delivery, luckily i delivered my baby naman on time, via cs nga lang. Now only i realized God was so good to us kasi na cs me instead of normal dahil i might probably had genital warts starting that time already. Anyways after the delivery okay naman na discharge ko and all but i still feel something is wrong inside, so i consulted my ob again and she said meron nga daw ulit vaginitis, she gave me medication for 3 months straight..every month a week of supp.which have good bacteria, somehow after i finished 3 monts of meds parang hindi naman nabago discharge ko. That time I finally decided to consult another doctor, and ob from upm pgh specializing in ovarian cancer and all, nakalimutan ko na tawag dun, pero you guys can search nalang later. So i told her my past medications and treatment and my concern, kung bakit hindi mawala wala discharge ko. She recommend me to have a biopsy of the cervix and the next day we did it in the pgh main hospital, nakita niya i have genital warts and took a sample of my cervix, the biopsy result came after a week and it says i have condyloma- or vaginal warts and a persistent vaginosis. For the vaginal warts she treated me for 3 sessions which lasted for 3 weeks, every friday i go to her clinic and me pinapahid siya to the warts, take note..super hapdi ng pinahid niya na gamot, but it lasted about a few minutes of pain lang naman, tapos medyo okay na. Sa first session after like 5 days i saw in my panty na nag shed na agad un warts, it resembles [textspeak!] himulmol sa twalya natin, 2nd and 3rds session was more easier kasi less na yung warts na ginamot. After treating the warts we did cryotherapy to my cervix for the vaginitis treatment, no pain during the 10 minutes therapy, just some heaviness in the stomach, yung feeling ng you have your mens. My new ob requested din me to have a hpv pap smear test, which we did after all the treatments just to make sure i do not have the hpv virus, i waited for a week for the result dahil the samples were taken pa from hongkong dahil dun pa lang daw meron nung ganung test, all results were negative naman, thank God. So my doctor told me na genital warts is actually a type of std, men who have it sometimes don't have the symptoms daw, and when we woman get it, it can be because our sexual partner have it. Minsan daw nalalabanan ng katawan and paglalala ng warts, meaning if you have a low immune system..mas prone na magkaron ka nito and mas dumami. In my case i am breastfeeding my baby kaya medyo hati nutrients na nakukuha ng body ko, mostly she gets from the milk kaya dumami warts ko. She recommends me to drink vitamin e and multivitamin kaya regular ko na iniinom both everyday.. Also highly recommended talaga to get a anti cervical cancer vaccine, in this case she recommend cervarix, mas maraming covered against certain hpv number and genital warts.. Sisses sorry sobrang haba nang kwento ko. Bottom part is don't wait and do not be scared about genital warts, treatment is available naman, it also helps to always have a possitive and pleasant disposition kasi what the mind can concieve, the body can achieve. Pag isip tayo ng isip ng nega, it will turn out bad talaga. And find a good doctor, not just a regular ob but someone specializing in cancer of the cervix para mas deep and explanation sa inyo and whatever test needs to be done e do it. My first ob was really good and nice naman, but now i realized her specialty is more of pregnant woman and delivering babies rather than treating vaginal problems kaya i never get treated properly before.
