Hi mga sis! Do you join cooperatives in your company or community? What benefits does your coop gives? Mostly kasi iba-iba ang policies bawat coop when it comes to benefits, different type of loans, patronage refund, dividends, etc.

I have attended a community based cooperative's seminar..mukhang ok [textspeak!],pero gusto ko dun is pag regular member ka, meron ka agad 100K in case of death..tapos Php300 lang ang ulog dun yearly. They are still making a credit investigation of me e,I'll give updates pag member na ko.

^ang laki ng death benefits sa coop na yan sis. sa amin 30K lang pero pag immediate family ang namatay, may 15K regardless kung old or new member.

Gaano ka safe ang pera sa coop.may nangyari na ba na na bankrupt at nag close ang isang coop.

ang laki ng interest compared sa mga bangko tapos wala pang tax.

Gaano ka safe ang pera sa coop.may nangyari na ba na na bankrupt at nag close ang isang coop.

ang alam ko sis depende rin yan sa mga namumuno sa coop. just like any company, posibleng mabankrupt din pero ang maganda sa isang coop, required na may transparency pagdating sa mga financial reports sa mga members kaya malalaman mo kung nalulugi na.

My mom works at PLDT and they have a coop which gives 6% interest.

Naglagay ako ng 100k before, not sure for how long siya tumagal don, but nagulat ako nasa 130+k na. Kung sa bank ko yun nilagay malamang wala pang 1k ang interest non.

Low risk kasi magandang company yun and a lot of their retirees already invested millions so for sure hindi yan babagsak.

i joined my mom's coop in mandaluyong... okay sya kasi lahat ng members doon eh teachers from their school. meron din retired teachers and business people around the area. luckily for me, my mom is an officer so i would know if there are problems...

Our company belong to Ayala group, eh meron silang sariling cooperative which is AMPC (Ayala multipurpose cooperative). It was really a huge benefit for me, every paryoll namin may definite amount na binabawas sa sweldo namin tapos napupunta sa cooperative.l Pwede din kami mag-loan. Then may percent sa loan na napupunta din sa savings namin. Ang galing nga talaga, been with my company for 3 years and the cooperative is really a big help for my savings and needs.

we have a coop here in the company kaso walang kwenta... ok lang kung ang dahilan mo ay para maka-utang, pero kung as a form of investment, NADA

withdrew my account since they can't even show how much my money was earning in a year.  hindi rin regular ang labas ng dividend.  lahat ng bagay delayed.  walang nag-aasikaso sa mga questions or requests moi.  magaling lang sila mag-collect ng pera

Kasi start pa lang ng coop namin. minimum paid-up capital is Php5,000 but the total amount of subscribed share is Php20,000.

Does it mean, to be a member, you have to pay the Php5,000. But you are qualified to receive interest on share capital if total subscribed shares are paid, which is the Php20,000?
