how about kainan na walking distance outside the airport? sarado pala ang Crossing Bridges during Sunday lunch. meron pa bang ibang kainan na walking distance outside the airport on Sunday lunch?

naku sis walang malapit na medyo maayos-ayos. yung souvenir shop sa tabi ng tourism office sa airport may coffee shop. just not sure kung may food na pang lunch. kailan ka yan sis? orderan na lang kita ng chicken inato sis tapos deliver sa airport. hehe kung nasa puerto ako nyan pwede. kailan yan sis? para wala ka na problema.

Hello... 2 months na lang din ang paghihintay ko..

To everybody ok na kaya itong ITI:
ETA: 9am ETD: 4pm
1st day: City tour
2nd day: Honda Bay
3rd day: UGR

di ba gahol sa oras if 3rd day ang UGR? at pwede pa ba kami makapamili ng fresh seafoods bago mag flight back? Isa kasi sa target ng mga kasama ko ang fresh seafoods sa PP.

^sis, sobrang ma-haggard naman kayo pag 3rd day ang UGR... kasi 2 to 2.5hrs ang travel one-way. so sabihin na natin na aalis kayo ng 7am, dating kayo mga 9am, waiting time until mga 9:30, UGR tour and lunch ng until mga 11:30, balik sa PP and derecho sa airport, dating kayo sa airport ng mga 2:00, so sakto lang, 2hrs before the flight. no time to buy fresh seafoods.

my suggestion for you is to switch UGR with the City Tour. kasi whenever you prepare an itinerary, it is advisable na yung itinerary for the departure day ay yung malapit na sa airport, ayaw mo namang ma-stress ka pa at the end of your vacation, di ba? kasi ang purpose nga ay ma-relax.

since maaga ang dating ninyo on Day 1, dun niyo na lang ilagay ang UGR niyo. 2nd day, tama na Honda Bay tour. 3rd day ay City tour para nasa city na kayo on your departure day at di na kailangang magpaka-haggard pa mula sa Sabang. and you'll have more than enough time to buy fresh seafoods.

sis medyo gahol yan. 4pm ETD nyo tapos Undeground river pa tour nyo last day... which means na dapat 2pm nasa airport ka na to check in. since 2 hours ang papunta and another 2 hours pabalik from undeground river... dapat mga 12pm umaalis na kayo ng sabang or underfround river. dapat ang Underground river tour nyo first day. tapos ok lang na HB ang 2nd day and City tour na lang last day.

sis sa public market lang talaga. meron silang old public market and the san jose public market. its better to buy sa old public market. they say mas mura sa san jose public market... pero as for me mas gusto ko sa old public market kae malapit. same land din ang price.

planning to visit PP this coming april w/ hubby & my 4yo daughter. nakapunta na ako sa PP with hubby dati (2007) and back then, we availed the services of mang pepito na sikat dito sa GT at that time.  siya at yung wife nya yung nag-accompany sa amin sa city tour & honda bay tour. wala na akong contact number nung tao na yun so i'd like some referrals if possible.  sana yung papayag na ipag-luto kami sa island hopping

basically, ang iti namin is:
Day 1: arrival, firefly watching (first time to do this)
Day 2: city tour -- esp croc farm, butterfly park & bakers hill
Day 3: honda bay island hopping
day 4: uwian na!
nakapunta na kasi kami sa Underground River so pass na muna yun.  the others we will repeat para maexperience daughter namin. ano pa kaya ang pwede gawin?

planning to stay at gohotel nga pala. ok na po kaya duon? actually gusto ko sana yung may pool since andami naming free time pero saan kaya? any suggestion?

^sa Hotel Centro Palawan may pool, tapos it's at the heart of the city. pero kung ok lang sa inyo na medyo nasa looban, another option is Deep Forest Garden Inn. you can read the reviews in Agoda if you want to read travelers' feedback.

Deep Forest is fine as well..  we stayed there last October 2012 .. sobrang malamok nga lang lalo na sa gabi pero hindi sa room.. sa labas malamok.. good food, good service, good location, good place, very good room, bed, cr, shower, basta lahat ng nasa loob ng room very good may mini ref pa.

Finally, matutuloy na kami sa PP.

Feb 5-9 Palawan trip namin. Nagbook na ako sa Sunflower Royal Pensionne thru Agoda on Feb 5-8. Sobrang malayo kaya ito sa city proper? Sabi kasi sa Agoda 2 km daw from city. Pero mukhang okay naman ang mga reviews na nababasa ko. Prob ko lang is baka sobrang layo sa mga kainan.

Feb 9 naman sa Airport Hotel para malapit na sa airport.

Sa pension ko na din balak kumuha ng tours. UG river tour and Honda Bay pa lang ang na-commit ko. Balak ko DIY na lang yung city tour and firefly watching. May nabasa kasi ako mas tipid daw pag ganun? Tama po ba? 4 kami. Balak ko maghire na lang ng tryk for city tour then van for firefly watching.

Feeling ko gahol na ako sa oras, parang dami ko pang di naaasikaso.

^^sis jasta01, what do you mean by good location ang Deep Forest Garden Inn? dahil medyo malayo siya sa town proper? pero hindi naman ba mahirap puntahan? kasi nung naghahanap ako ng mai-stay-an sa PP city, gusto ko sana yung Deep Forest kaso nung tinignan ko sa Google map, parang masyado namang nasa outskirts, inisip ko baka mahirap mag-commute to the town proper, kasi syempre we want to eat in the city restaurants sana (i.e., KaLui).

di ba mahirap mag-commute to Deep Forest? thanks!

hindi naman po may mga tryk naman available sa harap ng hotel but it really cost you much a hundred for a single trip (oneway) papunta sa town proper.. tamihik kasi yung lugar eh kaya oks for me..

Found this thread as I was looking for suggestions kung ano bang magandang gawin sa PP. June pa naman as I already booked our flight and hotel since June pa darating si hub. Worth it ba sis ang 1,100 na Firefly watching tour?

Hi Sis, when we were in PP last June, we also stayed in Go Hotel, ok na sya kasi when we went there bago so maganda yun rooms, may TV, hot water tapos malapit pa sa Robinsons. Along the highway naman sya so we just ride the parang jeepney or tricycle when we go to the town proper. Wala nga lang pool - not sure now.

Not sure if worth it pero maganda run naman magpunta sa Sabang kasi may zipline pero kung di kayo mag-UR, baka di na worth it yun travel tsaka baka di type ng daughter mo

Sis, nung kami, we did not avail of the package with food. With food ba eto? Kami noon, van rental and entrance to the firefly watching tour. Di ko lang maalala kung umabot ng P1,100.

Actually nakita ko lang sa isang website ang 1,100 rate for the firefly watching. wala pa akong nabook na tours kasi gusto ko munang itanong sa mga ka GT natin if  the tour is something worth pursuing. I have seen a lot of fireflies naman. hehe. pero gusto ko kasi malaman if the place was so enchanting and uber ganda bakit 1,100 ang charge for that tour?

Is it so far  ba sa city julmin4u if we will do it on our own na lang wherein mas makakatipid kami? Not that I'm on a budget pero I wanted din naman to walk around and talk with the locals for direction and have a good laugh with them. tipong backpacker traveler style. enjoy din kasi naman ako pag ganoon. :-)
