hi mga sis... we just got back from our 5d/4n tour in Puert Prinsesa. I was with hubby and our 2yr old daughter. Share ko lang mga experiences namin.
day1- we touched down at the airport around 5:15pm... all our tour packages was arranged with sis tiara. Hapon na at wala na kami ibang pwedeng puntahan… Sis Tiara texted me if we we want to avail the firefly watching that night pero baka hindi kami umabot sa 5:30 pick up sa hotel. So i decided to have dinner na lang at Ka Lui after we checked in at Go Hotel. And sis tiara helped us with our reservations…
We don’t have airport pick up… It was mentioned to me by Go Hotel that they have free shuttle from the airport… Akala ko standby lang palagi ang shuttle nila… hindi pala… you need to tick it when youre making an online booking in their website… so we looked for a tricycle na lang… I read from GT na around P50 lang ang fare kaya, I when I asked the driver how much sabi nya mga P50 lang… kaya sumakay na kami…
Tama ng comments ditto sa GT na mababait ang mga tao sa Palawan… On the way sa Go Hotel, the trike driver, Kuya Ben, offered na rin ihatid kami sa Ka Lui. P170 lang singil nya lahat. (hotel-ka lui-hotel)
Medyo malayo ang Go Hotel from the city proper… mga 15 minutes… kapitbahay lang naming ang Robinsons Mall…. We got our room for P388+ per night, saya!... I booked last January pa from their website… Typical lobby lang, may coffee shop na sila… (6am-9pm only)… may in-room spa na din… actually, maganda ang room nila… modern ang style… kAhit maliit… malaki din yun bed… maganda & clean bathroom… laki ng shower… not bad from their rate… I was expecting room from motel pero its way better than that… hehe! At may free wifi sila… hehe! Minsan nga lang weak signal… pero nakakachamba naman mag-upload pag minsan. wala din closet & ref inside. pero pwedeng kumain inside the room.
Ka Lui- we immediately went to Ka Lui after we drop our luggage at the hotel… mga 10mins ride sya from Go Hotel, located in the city proper… super nice ambiance… parang bahay kubo… at romantic… need mo magtagal ng shoes while entering… bamboo floor… basta lahat native… they have set meals good for 2… mga P400+ lang sya… meron sya soup, seaweeds, shrimps, fish fillet with coconut, fried talong, fried fish & dessert… oh dib a complete meal na… then we add na lang buko juice and guyabano shake (must try)… solved na kami!
Day2- Underground River… we are so lucky kasi 4 days na palang cancelled ang UGR because of bad weather… buti na lang that day, they opened na… medyo maulan pa din nun pero hindi na daw maalon… si Ms. Malou & Kuya Rocky assisted us that day… meron din kami ibang kasabay sa van… from the registration area… we still need to ride a boat going to UGR… ang lakas ng ulan that time… kaya im worried for my daughter nab aka magkasakit or matakot sa waves… good thing di naman… enjoy pa sya sa ups and downs… pagdating naming dun register ulit… then pasok na sa cave… ok naman sya… super dark inside… may dala akong flashlight para kay baby para di sya matakot… funny yung boat man/tour guide as he describes the images… over all enjoy naman… nabadtrip lang kami kasi may 1couple kami kasabay na nagkamali ng tingin sa flight… so minadali kami because of them. Ayun konti lang tuloy pictures namin… You have to be careful talaga of your schedule… esp. military time ang nasa e-tickets natin… kasi may nadadamay na ibang tao. after the tour… we ate sa restaurant near registration area… buffet naman, kasama na sya sa package ni sis tiara… then went back to the hotel na. it was around 2pm na. by the way, the road going to UGR is a zigzag road… si baby nahilo pauwi kaya nagsuka sa van… kakahiya nga eh… for those who has motion sickness, take kayo ng bonamin.
Kinabuch Restaurant- dito kami nagdinner para ma-try ang tamilok & croc sisig… we ordered the breaded tamilok kasi parang di ko yata kayang kainin kung slimy sya… masarap naman may bitter aftertaste lang… yung croc sisig, parang chicken sisig lang… medyo mahal lang mga P300+ per order ng croc sisig.
Day 3- Honda Bay: 7:30 pick up namin sa lobby… first namin was snorkeling sa isang island, I forgot what name… mga 30mins yun then proceed to snake island… mababaw yun water dun… dun kami nag-enjoy ni baby… kasi ang lamig ng tubig… dun na rin kami naglunch cooked by the tour guide, kuya Richard… Masaya yung group namin this time kasi may foreigner, oldies & couples… naging friends namin sila… after lunch we went to luli island for snorkeling & fish feeding & swimming again… super enjoy kami tatlo here! Went back to the hotel around 3pm.
Firefly watching din kami this day. The van picked us in the hotel around 5:30pm and brought us to Baywalk… from there we transferred to boat going to the mangroves… para silang mga Christmas lights… then had dinner on the boat… kasama na din sa package.
Day 4- City Tour: we started again by 7:30am. We went to Mitra’s Ranch, Baker’s Hill, Kinabuatan Weaving, Crocodile farm & Church. So never ending picture taking na naman kami. Tour ended around 12noon. We asked the driver to drop us at Badjao Restaurant for lunch.
Badjao Restaurant: it’s a floating restaurant… ganda ng ambiance… there’s a bridge with bakawan on the side before entering… its over looking the ocean… food is good… we ordered seafood platter. Sulit! Medyo liblib lang sya kaya nagpatawag na lang kami ng trike sa waiter paglabas and went back to the hotel.
Konting rest lang sa hotel pumunta kami sa Cora’s to buy pasalubong… mura dun compare sa souvenir shops na makikita mo sa tours. Then, we went to Robinson Mall to have dinner & to meet Ms. Tiara… saglit lang kami nag-usap… super nice sya…
Then, hubby decided to go back to baywalk… pasyal na konti… nagtrike kami going there… rented a pedicab… ayun super enjoy si hubby & baby… cheap trills!
Day 5- 8am checked out and had free shuttle to airport.
Sobrang nice ang Palawan, malinis & organized lahat. Gusto na nga tumira ni hubby dun… simple buhay lang… ito na ang new favorite destination namin… before kasi boracay. Thanks sis tiara for all the help. God Bless! Sorry haba ng post ko.
