Mga sis, will be travelling to Palawan in early august and will be staying in Sabang. How can we reserve permits sa UGR online? All the emails sa website nila is broken.. 

We want to DIY it kasi we're close na to the port plus we can save a lot! No friends/relatives in the area either *sigh*

sis, info taken from sis tiara's post from other forum, hope this helps.  btw, P175 na ang permit.

- sa underground river tour naman, kailangan niyo muna kumuha ng permit sa booking office sa tabi lang ng kinabuch, sa may building ng badjao 150pesos ang permit, then punta kayo sa san jose market para sumakay ng public van 120pesos ang pamasahe hanggang sabang wharf, pagdating dun patatakan niyo ang permit sa office madali lang naman makita yung office sa may wharf, then kuha kayo ng boat 700pesos good for 6pax, pagdating sa UR wharf register kayo then tawagin kayo kung sasakay na ng paddle boat, wala na tong bayad.

^ thanks sa info sis! Will keep the boat information in mind. Problem is if wala na permits available when we get there. I heard sobrang busy na daw sa UGR and if you don't book in advance wala na permits.

that's true sis. pm or text sis tiara baka naman mabigyan ka ng discount since napakalapit mo naman sa sabang area ka na diba. better if you text and email her at the same time.

just got back from our palawan trip. Actually July 2 pa kami nakabalik. 4D3N stay lang kami and we are 22 pax kase family trip pero partida kulang pa kami nun dahil wala pa yung isa kong sister and family nya hindi sumama samin.

After so many reservations made to different pension houses, hotels, and transient homes... we finally decided to stay in HOTEL CENTRO. A bit pricey, yes! But since marami kami sa group and iba iba ng preference ng places to stay. Ang iba gusto may generator, iba gusto beach front or atleast may pool, ang iba gusto within the city, iba ayaw ng lamok etc etc... But we thank God so much that he provided for our accommodation. Some say, wag na gastusan ang accommodation kase wala ka rin time to swim sa pool dahil sa pagod. Yup that is partly true -- for us adults. Pero we found out since may mga kids kami [textspeak!] kids at heart...kahit uber pagod na from all day tours gusto pa rin nila mag swim at the end of the day (grabe energy of kids) Well tama din sabi ng brother ko, might as well stay to a place na maayos at maganda na rin (best is in a hotel), kase kung so-so lang ang place as much as possible you want to go out often and have reasons not to stay inside. And that is true! Kase totoong napaka lamok sa buong palawan, and staying in a hotel is a big help kase aircon ka, maayos ang lugar, comfort talaga, and relaxation.

SO anyway, we got 3 family suite rooms and 2 honey moon suite. Ang big ng rooms. Price is steep...but i suggest if 2 lang kayo i suggest the new GO HOTELS...beside lang sya ng robinsons and guaranteed na malinis and within the city lang. Hep, i am not saying na hindi maayos sa ibang place...this is just OUR opinion.

For 3 days free breakfast for all guests, free of charge ang kids. Ang lunch no problem na kase kasama na sa tour except first day kaya we ate in BADJAO restaurant. Maganda view - yes! Pero for the price it isnt that affordable kase small servings lang. And can't say that is really good, pwede na for a seafood restaurant...nagpamahal ata eh yung view hehe... Anyway, with the price my mom decided na mamalengke na lang and ayun naki luto sa inn nung kakilala ng mom ko at don kami kumain ng dinner ng first day and our last day. GARCELLANO INN yung name nung place dapat don kami stay pero fully booked na sila. Maganda yung place, very homey ang feel, lapit sa mga kainan etc... Mabait pa owner.

For our tour, A big thank you for sis Tiara! Nice meeting you sis... napaka ayos kausap ni sis Tiara and very very accommodating... THANK YOU!

Will surely go back again....

Is it worth to try the ugong spelunking and firefly watching? We will be going there jul 13-16. Sana hindi maulan. Sabi ng travel agency namin, ug permit has to be applied a week before the trip kasi nagkakaubusan daw

Yang viet ville ba puede na isingit sa UR tour? or out of the way siya..Also has anyone tried here yung resto na na feature ni Kris on her show which serves food na may kasuy? was it in PP or el nido..i forgot na..

jesta - dangkalan resort, affordable yung rooms nila, pero don't expect na bongga yung beach ha

l_neveph - hindi naman out of way yung vietville, ask mo na lang ang tour guide kung ok lang dumaan, kasi itatanong din nya sa mga kasama nyo sa van kung ok lang. yung sa kris tv na resto dito sa Puerto Princesa yun, isla de kasuy sa mercado de san miguel

we're planning to revisit palawan  on january, medyo madami na kami this time (w/ some relatives from abroad). we stayed before sa kawayanan resort (5 lang naman kami) and we availed the package tour, sakto lang naman yung gastos kasi hassle-free and we really enjoyed our stay at PP.

But i heard kanya-kanyang registration na ba  sa pagpunta ng UGR ngayon? true? kaka-stress naman yun, peak season pa naman from dec-jan...Pls. enlighten  me. tia!
