^^ Because women are not "bicycles" whose values depreciate after being "used".

As far as i could see it, It will only be an issue if the guy knows the person involved on gf's past and of course, if her girl will tell him the past is yummier than him. lol  8)

yup.. comparison with exes.. minsan tuloy na-iinsecure ka na..

Natanong ko ito kay hubby dati and he said NO kasi hindi lang naman yung girl ang may sexual past kundi pati din sya,so why will he judge if pareho lang sila? :)

kasi.. bakit kaya dapat nating itanong or malaman pa ang sexual past ng partner natin? makakaapekto ba talaga yun satin? well dapat sa una pa lang talaga tinatanong na.. :) maya kasi tumatagal samahan nyo, tapos may nalaman ka sa past nya na talagang nagalit ka.. and if ever na magtatanong tayo ng sexual past, be sure na ready tayo sa kung anong possible na sasabihin ng partner natin..

I think concerned si hubby...but not really bothered. Minsan nga pag joke time nagtatanong pa sya kung ano daw mga pinag gagawa-gawa ko dati. Curious grabe!!!

Hi. I'm basically what you would call a good girl growing up. I guess up to now naman, I have a good high-paying job for my age, graduated from the top school in the country etc. etc. (puro papuri sa sarili ko hahaha)...point is, I'm the type of girl na parents would make "reto" their children to.

But I have a secret. I have a past.

Was super conservative, till I lost my virginity to my first boyfriend. Who was super liberated. He opened me up to a whole lot of sexual experiences, before eventually cheating on me. Ang sakit diba? I retaliated by "going wild", entering into a relatonship na puro sex lang din. Of course, after a year of doing that I realized that ayoko ng ganung buhay. Ayoko ng patapon na buhay haha. So I fixed myself, studied hard to become cum laude, landed a job and worked really hard. Went back to school for post grad studies. Basically, for 3 years, single ako. No sex. All para maging quality person, to find myself, etc.

Half a year ago I met a man who's a lot different from my exes and the men I've been involved with. Super conservative and sobrang bait. A good guy. And I really, really love him.The problem is, no matter what I do, he really gets hurt over my past. What do I do guys? I really love this person :(

Sobrang relate ako sa pinost mo, sis. I was a goody-goody, had my 1st bf at 27 then went on non-sense relationships and flings. My bf then (hubby now) almost broke up with me because of my "past". I was just telling him how it happened then he went quiet and didn't talk to me for 5 days. So insensitive of me para ikwento sa kanya yung nangyari, i didnt realize na may dating pala sa mga lalake yung mga ganong pangyayari.

Nwei, we're married na, and never na namin pinaguusapan yung past. Ewan ko ba, sometimes gusto ko pag-usapan yung mga nakaraan pero dinidismiss nya kaagad pag inuumpisahan ko. Guess ganun talaga ang mga guys.  :)

I could almost relate also.

Kaya lang after my first attempt to fling...it ended agad. Kasi si Fling Guy sineryoso ako. After doing a lot of nasty things in bed, we never thought we'd found love in each other. Medyo struggle lang kasi at first andun yung doubt if totoo yung feelings and then yung questions nya kung ano-ano pa yung mga ginawa ko before he came and vice versa. Sometimes we joke about it, and sometime nagkaka asaran na lang. After 12 years of being together may ganito pa ring eksena kasi we cannot avoid talaga na -mapag-usapan ang past.

Rule of thumb:  If a guy ask about your past, tell him everything.  If a guy doesn't show interest in knowing your past, just keep quiet. ::)

^ maybe war? matinding tampuhan or insecurities yan..

His/her past can say a lot about the person.

Not at all. Unless that "past" is still poking my wife/gf at the present. Otherwise, it should make things more exciting kasi mas magaling na sya. lol.

Kung aksidente mang ma brought up, ako na ang magiiwas o change topic kasi ayaw ko makaramdam yung girl ng discomfort or guilt and at the same time napaka akward nun para sakin. Btw naisip ko lang to sa isang girl na tinangka kong ligawan (and alam ko may bf sya in the past for more than 5 yrs).

We don't talk about to much details about our past, but if something comes up, it is important to reassure your partner that the present is what's more important. I is just a matter of good communication.

Like Richard P. and how he married Maricar R.? :)

He still accepted her and they're lucky to be with each other. :)

^what if the guys asked and he didn't like what he heard?
And he takes it against you. But he was the one who asked.

then he is not meant to be with you kasi hindi nya ma accept ang past mo.

kaya rule of thumb dito
1. habang bata pa, one has to know how to take care of his/her body. hindi yun kahit sino nalang ang kasiping.

2. if you meet the right one, it is inevitable you will have intimacy. make sure or think 100x if you want to be with him. (ibang topic ito pero maraming available materials sa web if one should sleep not sleep with him/her)

3. in getting to know someone, it is important to know his past kasi andun pumapasok ang decision making nya. kung sige nalang kahit sino, ibig sabihin prone sya na hindi mag isip. kung kayo na, what is stopping him/her from doing it again?  or pag pinag sisihan na nya ang past, kahit papano, kilala mo sya and you would know how to handle him or her kapag may issues sa inyong dalawa.

4.  what is nagka std na yung partner mo at hindi nya sayo sinabi at nahawa ka. ang laking away nito, what will happen?

so in summary, sakin importante ang past and it is not to take it against the person, it is to know the person you want to be with, through and through.  hindi yung may shady past sya na hindi mo alam, so paano mo sya mamalin ng buong buo?

it's funny how people judge guys who don't want to date girls who have been around or had a lot of
partners already, calling them immature, insecure or whathaveyou pero there are also a number
of women who wouldn't want to marry a guy if they knew how many whores they've paid to have sex with them
