it wouldnt take 6 months to apply for the helsefagarbeider autorisasjon, if walang problems sa papers mo, mabilis lang.. you can apply there in the Philippines and just wait for the autorisasjon here in Norway, mag change address ka lang.. I have friends din na ginawang stepping stone ang pagiging au pair para maka work as helsefag, since nag close na ang jobseeker etc visas last year..

Advice ko lang sayo is to study norskkurs once na andito ka na, dont waste your time. may responsibility yung host fam mo sa norskkurs mo kasi kasama yon sa contract as an au pair.. then mag take ka ng norskprove 3 para mas madali ka makahanap ng work as helsefag.. I have a friend just this week na nag change na sya from au pair visa to working kasi nakahanap sya ng 80% stilling as helsefag.. wala pa syang one year as an au pair..

Can we work at least as an assistant nurse agad with a lil of norsk?
or paano po ba yun? To my research we have to study some subjects if ang goal is to be a license nurse dyan.

helsefagarbeider (healthcare worker) yun yung kukunin mo sa SAK since you are a nurse.. cant say kung makakapag work ka as helefag if you only have a little knowledge of their language.. minsan kasi naman , it depends sa mag iinterview sayo.. pero syempre, gusto talaga nila kung hindi man magaling, atleast marunong makaintindi and maka salita.. kaya its really important to take norskkurs.. lalo pa sa Bergen ka, and iba ang dialect sa Bergen

as sykepleier, now may bago nanaman daw rule na you have to take Bergens test na (before Norskprove 3 lang) then some trainings at the hospital, I dont know kung ilang months..

 I have researched how many levels do we have to finish before the advance level or bergenstesten which is required for helsefag, until what level do they entitle for an au pair? couldn't find it on Google po.

There are 5 levels now, unlike dati na 7. Level a1, a2, b1, b2 and c1/c2. You have to be on level B2 to be a bergenstest passer. It depends on the kommune (municipality) you are in, as some only offer until B1 while others offer all the way to b2/c1. As for your entitlement for free norwegian course, i think it depends on how long you are staying with your host family. Your host family will have to pay a minumun amount of 8,100 Nok for classes and books per year. One level can run for 6 months if you will take it via kommune. Ganun kabagal.. but if they that you are more advanced than you current class, they can let you join a higher level class. If you want fast track norsk kurs, I suggest you apply at folkeuniversitetets intensive norwegian course.
