Hello!

I was searching about korea, and found this post. I intend to go to korea on Oct 13 to 17. Anyone interested to go with me? I am actually searching for travel buddy, since my plan will be hiking, everland, bungee jumping, nami island, and more It would be nice to attend busan international film festival too.

Ganun din kami e, we arrived 6:30am pero nakarating kami ng guesthouse namin sa Myeongdong mga 8:30am na (check-out, nagpalit pa kami T Money cards sa arport then yung bus travel). Naglakad pa kasi kami from sa binabaan namin & di kami makamadali coz may luggages so natagalan kami. We ate breakfast sa isang coffee after namin iniwan yung luggages then straight to N Tower na kami then lunch. Hapon na kami bumalik for check-in, freshen up tapos shopping na

hindi pa ako nakakaalis papuntang HK sa september pero nasa isip ko na itong korea for next year gusto ko din cherry blossom pero mas mahal ata ticket nun, pag december to feb ba may snow sa korea? also mauna ba dapat na may ticket bago mag apply ng visa?thanks

^sis cartman, yes may snow pa ng Dec to Feb, pero nung pumunta kami nung Feb di na namin naabutan ^_^ Okay lang din mag apply ng visa kahit wala ka pang ticket, di naman yun kasama sa requirements

Nakakalungkot ang mga pangyayari. Fully booked na ang Namsan 2 para sa day ng trip namin sa SK. Huhu... And it's more than 3 months away. Waah!!! Kelangan maghanap ulet. Dapat pala inalala ko na yung mga guesthouses na mas malapit kesa sa Namsan Guesthouse.

Would anyone here know kung ano yung mga Guesthouses sa area ng NG na mas malapit sa may Myeongdong area?

^For the dates that I was trying to reserve, fully book na raw. It's for the last week of October. Yung available nalang na room for 4 people is nasa Namsan 1. Kaso, ayoko dun. Layo masyado. Yung Namsan 2 nga nalalayuan nako (well more of the reason is inclined yung road kaya mas nakakapagod maglakad). Didn't ask about Namsan 3, 3 kasi yung max nila sa isang room.

Hi mga sis, baka may nakaexperience sa inyo, yung sa ITR ko po ang nakalagay na registered address eh yung home add ko, pero upon checking sa BIR as per their system nakaregister daw sa address ng former company ko. Would it affect my visa approval po ba?

We're applying for our Korean visa on Wed, July 18. Complete naman our requirements. Hopefully, ma-approve. July 27 na our flight.

I was wondering if magkaroon pa kaya ng problem with the ITR since I have been employed naman since Sept 2011 lang. The HR gave me BIR form 2307 (Certificate of Creditable Tax Witheld at Source). Yun yung binibigay sa doctors na form every quarter since under Individual Tax daw ang category namin (whatever that means). Hehe.

We booked the flight I think November last year, RT airfare is P3.8k. So gamble lang to pag-apply namin this late.

I've been backreading,  and I'm super inggit with all the nice things everybody's saying about Korea!

We stayed in Zaza Backpackers, nasa Myeongdong area din sya at nasa vicinity ng Namsam. We also tried booking Namsam nung Nov 2011 for our April 2012 trip and fully bookedna syanun. Zaza requires no downpayment, you just have to confirm your reservation 3 times -they will remind you via email.

@doctor_betty: Are you employed as a employee, or parang consultant? Strictly speaking:
If you are an employee (and you only had one employer during 2011), they should give you BIR form 2316.
If you are consultant ng company, they will issue you BIR form 2307. You, as the taxpayer, should have filed your BIR Form 1700 with the BIR 2307 attached.

BUT, I don't know how strict and technical yung Korean embassy in checking the docs. Nasa 2307 naman kasi yung magkano yung binayad sayo and yung corresponding tax the company withheld. I submitted a BIR form 2316 without my TIN reflected and tinanggap naman.

I miss korea already, it's been two months since our trip and i'm planning na our return hehe, I list down na nga lahat ng babalikan, uulitin at mga shopping list namin.     buti na lang enjoy din si hubby dun if not baka di na rin ako makabalik...

^ako din miss ko na ang South Korea! It's been 5 months na din! Hayyy sobrang nakakamiss talaga, pero 4 months na lang, makakabalik na din ako sa Seoul! Sana walang maging aberya sa visa

I am employed as a consultant/retainer doctor. I am submitting the BIR form 2307 from the HR without my TIN reflected in the form also. I hope all goes well:)
