The Mullet Skirt

Mullet skirts seem to be a summer trend since last year up until now. I have been really liking them especially since I still haven't got the guts to wear a full-on maxi skirt, but I mostly have a hard time finding a top to pair them with.

Thoughts?

I often pair my mullet skirts with tank tops or tube tops.

wear something very simple. ang mullet skirt ay fashion statement in and of itself so kailangan yung top mo subtle lang. let the skirt speak the loudest in your outfit. because of that, you can choose super bold patterns and designs for the mullet skirt. i suggest just sticking to plain block-colored tank tops or even tight t-shirts.

@sislady uhm have you considered color blocking or pairing printed skirts with plain tops or the other way around?

^^ sis dooonna we were able to score cheap mullet skirts asa 168, mga around 200-250 lang. Near their fastfood court.

^ sis pwede naman kahit sino basta dala mo. Usually mullet skirts are garterized so adjustable to any waist.

Oo naman basta wedge ka nalang siguro if like me, medyo malapad yun calf! Haha

@sistah!, kung manipis legs mo pwede na flats. Ako makapal face ko minsan din naka flats ako for this kahit na medyo malaki calf ko

nakikita ko sa mga fashion bloggers they wear plain corset. feel ko mas carry ko to kesa maxi skirt/dress kasi di naman ako matangkad. magmumukha lang akong hobbit pag maxi na. haha! (pero may iba kahit na maliit sila carry ang mga maxis. hay.)

I only wear tshirts and tank tops with my mullet skirt... and sa shoes naman, I like pairing it with my nude high heeled sandals...

@countess - thanks! I already bought one at 168.

@iwannabeasupermodel - when petite girls (like me) pair a corset with maxi skirt, it gives an illusion that those girls are taller. It actually looks nice on them. I saw quite a number o girls wearing corset+maxi skirt at MOA.

Btw napansin ko if you'll buy a mullet skirt, bilhin niyo yung may part na aabot sa ground kasi nung nanonood ako sa gma nung new year countdown nila ang weird tingnan ng mullet na di umaabot sa ground.
