Visited their Shangri-La branch earlier. Sale na rin. Some good pieces but they didn't have the color i wanted. Will visit glorietta next, sana meron sila nung gusto ko.

I talked to the SA, the new releases do not sport the checkered lining anymore.  The lining is now in solid color, and parang the fabric is of an inferior quality na.

^for which type of products? I have several bags and all have plain, solid linings. Well unless the checkered lining is for newer bags. My last purchase was in 2010 pa ata.

My dad naman has Filofax and a laptop bag bought around the 90s. Both have checked linings

My fino item which is a passport holder with checkered lining was bought in 2004 pa.

My purchases in 2007 had plain solid lining na.  But both have similar quality naman so far.

I noticed this particularly with some small leather accessories. 

Try to check the items on display which now have the solid lining.

I am hoping I am wrong though. :-)

^I have a lot of Fino wallets, and only the oldest one (circa 2001?) had a checkered lining.  The rest have plain linings.  I don't think the difference in lining affects the quality.

I recently bought a bag and a lot of key chains in the last Glorietta sale... The bag I bought is at 40% discount while the key chains are half off....

I was not able to contain myself when I saw the key chains so cheap lang kasi... around  90-98 pesos each lang... very nice Christmas gift na... So now, I have to think who to give them to... haha The other lady na nakasabay ko nga sa store, I think she bought at least 50pcs of the key chains... it comes with a gift box and gift tag as well... so super nice talaga....

The bag that I bought naman is canvass yung material while the straps are leather... I also was not able to resist it since it is at 40%off... very nice din and hopefully their canvass are sturdy... we'll see hehe

fino trinoma is on sale. 10-50% off. naubusan na ako ng wallets when i went last night. 3 nalang yung zippered wallets nila. 1700 na lang from 3500 original price kaso di ko na type yung colors na naiwan.

aaaand, i almost snagged this dark brown soft leather bag worth 7k++ na lang (from 12k++). but unfortunately, the fino guy said may damage daw yung bag and he showed me scratches on the leather. hindi obvious from afar but pag malapit, kita sya kasi medyo maputi yung pagka scratch. super sayang. siguro if 70% off i would have bought it na.

Anyway, I went to the Glorietta branch last weekend, but didn't find anything I liked enough to buy. Ended up just buying a keychain.

gusto ko sana tumingin ng wallet, kaso ang problema ko sa mga ganyang mall sales pag wala sa isang branch kailangan mong pumunta pa sa iba or at least i-check..

san ba ang warehouse netong FINO, di kaya nakakabili dun.

Yeah, when I was at the Glorietta branch, a couple there was asking about a certain color of the bag they were interested in. Kaso nasa MOA or Megamall branch lang meron. Not sure if they went ahead and got it dun. Hassle lang.
