Hi mga sis!

I've been reading yung mga previous posts but can't find kung may nagtanong na.  Naghahanap kami ng hotel where we can stay, family of 4 (puro adults kami lahat).  Pwede kaya yung room na 2 double beds kahit nakalagay sa website nila maximum of 2?  I'm thinking 2 double beds naman so I think magfit naman kami. 

Any hotel recommendations?  I read here yung Golden Crown, YMCA, etc.  October pa naman ang punta namin pero I'm booking the hotel early na.  3 nights kasi kami sa HK city (Kowloon or HK island), 1 night sa Disneyland.

^ hotels won't allow. but guesthouse pwede.. Goldencrown, Sun Kong or seriviced apartments..

^^snow25, GUESTHOUSES are strict sa number of persons in the room. Pag sinabi na for 2 persons lang yung room, 2 persons lang talaga. Hostels and guesthouses are small lang kasi.

Some HOTELS, you can sneak in lalo na pag mga big hotels.

^ Thanks sa mga reply.  Dito kasi mostly ng napuntahan namin kapag nakalagay 2 double beds sa HOTELS pwede additional person.  You just have to ask the rates for an additional person.  Meron din naman strict.  Mas mahal kasi minsan ang extra room kaysa magbayad ng extra for the extra person in the same room.

Option nga namin din yung Guesthouses kung wala kaming mahanap na hotel with reasonable rates and yes I understand na strict sa Guesthouses.

Mga sis, final na. Sa Imperial Hotel kame mag sstay (located at Nathan Road). Wala pa kameng shopping IT, no time pa kasi ako to research and prepare. Next week thursday na trip namen. Nasa shopping area na ba yung hotel namen? What shopping places can you recommend mga sis? And mga night markets. TIA

Nice na yung location ng Imperial Hotel sis khaesj. Malapit na yan sa Silvercord Mall (where H&M is), Harbour City. Tsaka near your hotel, may mga boutiques na rin like Giordano, Bossini, Bonjou tsaka Sasa.

Nearest night market is Temple St., yung sa Mongkok, 1 MTR station away lang naman.

sa mga nakapag-stay na sa GC, kasya ba sa isang bed ng quadruple room ang 2 adults & 1 kid (5yo)?

kasi isama ko sis ko, instead na dun sa couple rm (extra bed) w/ my 2 officemates, isiksik ko na lang sya sa amin ng anak ko para sana hindi na kami magbayad HK$50 for extra bed..

^ sis, kasya naman.. saka bata naman yung 1, unless mataba yung anak mo. but my cousins stayed there before.. 2 double beds lang tapos 6 sila youngest is 11years old pa and chubby.

^ aw kasya naman pala eh. kasi tinanung ko yan sa GC, sabi mag-extra bed na lang daw sa twin/couple rm for HK$50. 3 rms kasi kinuha ko, 1 twin for 2 adults male, 1 couple for 2 adults female, & 1 quadruple for 2 adults female & 2 kids both 5yo...eh bigla gusto sumama ate ko...

7:40-8:40am immigration, buy disney & op tix and octupus cards at CTS counter
8:40-9:40am breakfast at airport -meron po ba fastfood dito? what terminal po pala kami baba?
9:40-10am take bus- where____? & w/c one____? -to disney
10am @ disney, iwan luggage near park entrance, rent stroller for kids kasi we plan to stay here till fireworks @ 9pm coz its a sunday
by 9:30pm retrieve our luggage then take bus___? going to TST golden crown
11pm late check-in at GC then sleep na...
Day 2
7am wake-up
8-10am BF within TST area lang, nanlian garden
10-11am OP till 5pm
5-8pm peak, madam t.
8-11pm mongkong shopping

Day 3

balak ko sana early checkout the nong-ping, giant buddha, citygate outlet

Ok ba qng kimberley hotel? Plan kasi namin mag hk with my 3yr old daughter next yr. we will be staying at disne hotel for 2nights then we will move to tst hotel and stay there for 3 nights. I have stayed atnmarco polo gateway hotel last december. Ok dun pero kung meron ok na medyo mas mura we can try din. Choices ko are kimberley hotel, nathan hotel, novotel nathan hotel and park hotel. Any feedbacks? 2 adults and 1 child kami. Thanks

Mga sis when you're in HK inaactivate nyo roaming nyo? and how do you get online 24/7 (or daytime while nasa galaan kame kasi sa hotel may wifi naman.) I need to check my emails kasi every now and then

^when I'm on company time yes naka-activate roaming ko but if personal time I don't. Sobrang mahal kasi! My last company trip of 5 days I was billed almost 10K. I'm post paid with Smart. Check na lang your emails when you get back to your hotel using wifi.

mga sis, anong mga restaurant ang ok kainan sa may malapit sa golden crowne? may mall sa likod nun (nalimutan ko yung pangalan) pero hindi na namin na-explore mashado nung nagpunta kami last time. ngayong punta ulit mas marami sanang ma-try na makainan. esp yung malapit sa guest house. thanks mga sis

^sis kumain kami sa likod dun sa mga local resto lang. may mga menu sa table na may drawing tapos nagtatanong kami. we spent 50hkd for a meal, rice at ulam na yun..palagi namin order yung goose.
pero may resto kami napuntahan ibang menu ang ibinibigay kapag hinde chinese at ang mahal nun as in 100hkd per meal!!!
meron rin dyan parang ihaw ihaw open lang sila sa gabi. at saka walang mga upuan. masarap rin.
nasa may corner yun eh.
pag agahan meron akong binibilihan na mga tinapay tuwing morning lang naman yun. 6hkd isa. bread na may sausage sa loob, yung may raisins etc. paglabas mo ng gc sa likod left side mo halera ng money changer. mga after 2-3 stores.hinde sya bakery kung may maliit na table lang sya sa loob ng isang shop. old chinese lady.

btw, anybody knows how much ang blythe doll sa hong kong?
