Day 3 (Disneyland Day)

Nag breakfast kami sa nearest Burger King at around 8AM.  9AM naman, nag checkout na kami from Cosmic and bumili na rin ako sa kanila ng Disney tickets.  From TST, MTR lang kami going to Disneyland.

:)  dun kami nag-dinner hehe...

Na-sight pa namin si Vina Morales with her baby and 2 other ladies  :D.

Natuwa naman ako sa Toy Storyland... though hindi ako familiar Kay Andy and his toys (coz I never watched a single Toy Story movie hehe)... natuwa ako sa newest attraction na to... sumakay pa nga ako dun sa green parachute hehe....  around 5PM inulan kami ng bonggang-bongga! tumagal din siguro ng mga 15-20 minutes yun... after that, tuloy pa rin ang ligaya :)

Sayang lang closed yung Mickey Mouse show e.. :(

And of course, watched kami ng Fireworks.  Sobrang na-enjoy ko at ng parents ko :)

After fireworks, super hataw kami sa mga shops kasi wala pa kaming nabibili, except yung toy for my nephew.  Nakabili kami ng 3 pairs of Swarovski earrings (totoo bang swarovski yun sisses? kasi parang ang mura nya if genuine Swarovski yun :D)

during photo sessions with the disney characters, napansin ko lang.. hindi sila mahigpit sa oras.. I mean, dito kasi sa Universal Studios SG, talagang limited lang up to 2 shots per group ang in-a-allow nila...  lalo na kapag mahaba ang pila.. unlike sa HK Disney, wantusawa ang group pics.. tapos may group pic na, may individual shots pa..  ;D

ang kagandahan sa ganon, na-e-entertain talaga ang mga tao... lalo na ang mga bata... kumbaga may personal moments sila with the characters.. may konting chikahan pa nga e lalo na with the princesses e... may autograph signing pa... yun nga lang pag masyadong nasarapan, kawawa naman yung mga naghihintay  ;D

hi sisses! bilis ng new thread! =) to help out our sisses in planning your upcoming HK trip here are some tips that helped me big time during our recent family trip:

1. if you're arriving early morning, you can choose to visit Disneyland first before checking in because it is the attraction nearest to the airport. Or if you'll spend the overnight here, do it last.
2. group the attractions according to their location, e.g. Ngong Ping 360, Giant Buddha, Disneyland, Citygate Outlet or Causeway Bay for shopping; Ocean Park, The Peak, Madame Tussauds, Star Ferry, Avenue of Stars, Symphony of Lights.
3. Get an Octopus Card before going out of the airport. We got the $150, $50 is refundable upon departure. =) This is very useful esp when you're planning to utilize their public transportation. The card is acceptable in buses, MTR, fast foods and the arcade centers in Ocean Park.
4. Stay in a hostel if budget-conscious. You'll save a lot. Promise! We stayed at Cosmic Guest House in Mirador Mansion. It is just beside the MTR TST Station Exit D1 or [textspeak!] and a short walk from the bus stop. It is the center of everywhere.
5. Check if your place to stay has discounted tickets for Disney and Ocean Park. Cosmic's Disney ticket is only $370 and Ocean Park is only $250. If you are traveling with a senior citizen, get the senior discounted ticket at the park's entrance for only $100. =)
6. Bring coffee 3-in-1, cup noodles and biscuits for quick breakfast and snack. It will lessen your daily expenses during your stay there a lot.
7. Buy Bonaqua mineral water (product of coca-cola) in a 7-11 store before heading on your daily itinerary. It's much cheaper than buying it in restaurants.
8. If you're not comfortable with chopsticks, bring your own spoon and fork. Most restaurants do not serve spoon (most only have soup spoon) or fork.
9. Pack tissue and wet wipes. Wipe utensils before using them. They do not give napkins unless you ask for it.
10. I do not recommend the Ladies Night Market. Our Divisoria and 168 is way better and cheaper. I liked shopping in Citygate Outlets in Tung Chung.
11. Return your Octopus Cards before checking in. It is at the lower level.
12. Whatever the weather might be on your trip, enjoy and have fun! That's the main reason why you're there, right? =)

*this website helped me in planning for my HK Trip: www.travel-hongkong-attractions.com
*I enjoyed taking their MTR and buses. Madaling intindihin at sundan. Systematized. And fortunate for us, we didn't experience what the other sis experienced in their MTR rides. Yun lang talaga, they do not have elevators that are street levels. So if you're destination is the airport, take A21 bus to and from TST.

---and to answer sis nikki21's inquiries:
1. Bus A21 from airport to TST has fixed rate $33 one way.
2. Walk ahead (heading where the buses go). When you come across, Carnavron Road, the building next to it is Mirador Mansion.
3. Ngong Ping 360 has 1 way and rt fare. From their website, rt fare is $125.
4. Star Ferry from Central is $5. As far as I can remember, it is at Pier 7. Again, you can use your Octopus card here. =) Visit IFC Mall when you're there. Maganda lang. Parang Greenbelt. =)
5. The TST Promenade, Clock Tower and Avenue of Stars is in one area. Get off at East TST Station. It is much nearer from there. From TST Exits, you can arrive there on foot through Canton Road. If you're planning to go there late in the afternoon, it's okay. I suggest that you visit these places after The Peak since you are also planning to take the Star Ferry.

Mashado ng mahaba. =) If I can still be of help, just let me know. Have fun planning! =)

Sis, i believe about 10k yung hollywood hotel with 2 tickets. Fireworks is at 8pm daily. I suggest you go there on a weekday para ma enjoy nyo yung attractions kasi less ang tao lalo na summer season ang visit niyo. You can visit disney website and reserve from there. :-)

Post modified, quote only relevant phrases. Thanks!

Sis, I am planning to go to Ladies Night for our pasalubong sana. What do they have in Causeway Bar?  Baka dun na lang ako mamili kasi we are staying in Aberdeen? Mura lang din ba dun? Can I also buy pasalubong there so we won't go to Mongkok anymore. Thanks

Hi.  Just got back last night.  I will share our IT in the next few days.  Pahinga muna.  Sobrang nakakapagod walking in HK especially in a hot sunny weather.  Nagka-sunburn kami lahat.  Sunburned yun nose ko.  Para kaming nagbeach.  :)

Day 4 (AM)

We had breakfast at Enchanted Garden.

Ayun, buti na lang, nangulit yung katabi naming table with kid, so after them, kami ang pinuntahan.  Mickey Mouse, Daisy Duck and Pluto :)

Sumaglit kami sa Garden sa labas and nagpiktyur piktyur :)

9.30AM check-out na kami sa hotel and direcho na ng HK-Ferry Terminal sa Sheung Wan.  Cotai Jet ang sinakyan namin going to Macau.

^i'm a big fan of airbnb but I use it mostly for my Euro trips since the prices of hotels there are expensive. You just have to check the reviews of the landlords to make sure legit sila. The more good reviews the better and safer. You can also send a private message to the reviewers just to double check on the reviews they did.
