i checked different schedules of workshops, meron sana ang Ink Scribler on march 6 in alabang. mas malapit sa akin..2k ang fee kaya lang ang included lang is 1 Nib, 1 Straight Pen Holder, 1 bottle ink and Worksheets whereas kay Imma Frias ink, nibs, nib holders, pencils, worksheets/pad. Plural form ang text sa akin so meaning hindi lang 1 pc haha..at may food na included na sa 1900. 

@pinkcoyote: pinagiisipan ko pa kung sa alabang ako or Imma Frias (though sa March 6 na yun sa alabang). layo kasi sa akin ng QC. buhay probinsya hehe

went to imma frias basic calligraphy workshop on march 22. ok naman..practice talaga kailangan. it's not as easy as it seems. pero i think it helps kapag medyo maayos ka na sumulat. gusto ko rin ng brush calligraphy but nib muna ako mag-aaral.

I want to attend more workshops pa, haha pero practice muna, haven't had time nitong workweek. Will do sa weekend and supplies shopping also.

hi sam! joan here. andito ka din pala sa GT.. i'm practicing but hindi pa gano nagiimprove hehe. mahirap ituwid yun lines.. hehe..

for those living in the south (like me), there's a block party in alabang on sunday. may brush, watercolor, hand lettering and nib calligraphy. check their FB page for the schedule. P300/workshop ang fee when i checked but you have to bring your own materials.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned it but check thepapercat on Instagram! She's super good and she offers workshops monthly (I think) too! Haven't actually attended her class yet but I'm an avid follower. I attended Ink Scribbler's (inkscribbler.com/instagram.com/inkscribbler) workshop last November and it was a pretty good introduction if you wanna start your calligraphy journey!

I want to try a new hobby and became interested in calligraphy. I don't know the basics yet, doesn't have any material/tool. I'll probably try researching first calligraphy 101.

Let me know if there are seminars/classes for this. I want to try out.

Masaya yung class ni Imma! Calligraphy + chikahan + good food.

We used brush pens then later on nibs naman. Pero yun nga, the key is to practice everyday.

I'm just doing it at home by practicing and watching tutorials. Brush pen muna then nibs then watercolor na. Sana lang may magregalo sakin ng mga set but i am already planning to buy all i need this november!
