Best Powder Foundation (Thread 6)

Parang mejo naging hesitant ako bigla sa MF Facefinity. Baka kasi hindi naman din effective sa oily skin ko  I understand mas mura si Facefinity than Studiofix, kaso mejo nagdalawang isip ako i-let go the latter. Anyway, are they comparable?

sakin naman di ko nagustuhan yung shiseido perfect smoothing foundation nila, dark din sakin tingnan, and yellow siya sa skin ko..siguro Im more on pinkish tone talaga...
sayang lang ang mahal pa naman, I bought this kasi yung friend/co nurse ko ito yung gamit and it looks good talaga sa kanya.. morena kasi siya, so sad hindi bagay sakin.

5 days ko na gamit MF. Hindi ko pa rin pala nakita HG powder ko. Sayang. Buti pa si sis swim_fatale

Akala ko nung una na-address na yun pagiging oily ng face ko, pero after 2 days ganun ulit oily pa rin. Parang same lang nung EB gamit ko. May SPF lang eto tsaka cute packaging kasi gold so siguro I'll stick na rin dito baka may iba pa ako maging benefit kahit hindi yun sa pagiging oily ng face ko.

Pixy UV Whitening Pressed Powder. Perfect for me. My face is not oily the whole day. Well I guess, it helps also that I am using Derm E Moisturizer. Sad, the manufacturer shut down and won't be selling Pixy anymore. Yung Majolica ok ba for oily skin?

^from my experience sis, nagminimize naman oiliness ko but meron pa din, so i retouch. Coverage naman, maganda--nakaka-blooming & looks natural.

Clinique anti blemish solutions powder foundie ang pinaka mattifying for me, coverage is also quite good. Kaya lang mabilis ma out of stock shade ko so I've been looking for an alternative. Just discovered na we have l'oreal infallible powder dito sa pinas, liquid foundie following soon daw. Still testing this out pero I love the color match and initial finish on the skin. The powder is very fine and feels light on the skin.

^^sis mukhang mag stay na muna ako dito sa MF kasi kanina nag selfie ako no filter ang ganda ng effect pala niya. Kaya pala may nagsasabi na ang aliwalas ng mukha ko akala ko dahil lang sa binobola ako. Nag try ka na sis mag liquid foundation?

Pwede ba yun kunwari pag alis ng bahay liquid foundation then pag kelangan mag retouch powder foundation? Or expected ba na kung may liquid foundation wala na retouch?

^ako pag liquid gamit ko, setting powder lang pag retouch ko. Tapos as in dusting lang, super light application. Kapag kasi powder foundation, masyadong kakapal.

Tip lang for retouching, lalo na pag oily face tapos powder ang pang retouch, mag blot muna before applying a new layer of the powder. Ako ang gamit ko lang pang blot is 1 ply na tissue paper. Pinepress ko lang sa areas na may oil. Tapos saka ako mag aapply ulit ng powder. And try to use brush, wag sponge para hindi magcake. Minsan nga pag okay ang powder foundation mo, after blotting no need to put a new layer na. Mukha ng fresh ulit.

Hindi na ko mahilig sa powder foundation lately. Mas naappreciate ko na kasi pag dewy yung face ko. Hehe pero yung sa kin ang pinaka okay na powder foundation was the Ellana Minerals one. Naka ilang tub ako nun. Hassle lang minsan kasi loose sya so medyo messy.

Ako pag nagretouch ako yun oil control film muna nakaka ubos akong 1 and 1/2 na film before ako masatisfy na wala na talaga oil tsaka ako mag brush nung max factor.

Actually sis finishing ko yung MF. First layer is moisturizer (Olay natural white) then Quick FX CC cream, then MF. Today I had a super busy event that involved running around and doing lots of errands pero nung tinignan ko face ko sa mirror at 2pm (630am start ng event) di pa ako oily!!!!! I really, really love MF Facefinity!
