Web Hosting Feedback please?

I'm looking for a web hosting specifically forum hosting since my friend is planning to make one. We've looked at godaddy and hostgator but we are wondering if there's anything that is forum hosting specific so we only need to pay less. I've looked at HostSo, but I'm not sure if its reliable. Any feedback please?

I am using hostgator to host my blog. I belive there are a lot of discount coupons you can use which will trim the cost significantly. Try going to http://www.retailmenot.com/. I got there a good coupon that brought down my monthly to $0.01. LOL!
