@lyan, sis may namention si mom of inchikoy dati na dati pa yun malapit sa SM north-edsa yun isang hall sa Phil Medical Association. Hindi ko na nga lang alam if ok pa rin dyan until now. Mas updated  mga PPs dito

I'm still deciding which hall to get sa Residences... their Laguna Social Hall (3k for 4 hours and 800 in excess of 4 hours) can accommodate 60 guests pero worry ko is baka masikip since 60 ang guests namin and gusto ko pa rectangular tables instead of round... so baka talagang masikip 

Manila Social Hall naman has a capacity of 70 and the San Lorenzo hall naman 80 pax... same lang din rate nila (10k for 4 hours and 1.5k hourly in excess of 4 hours) so might as well get the San Lorenzo na bigger

for those who have tried discovery suites in ortigas for a venue, magkano kapag venue or makakamura ka kapag kukuha ka nang package nila? meron ba silang birthday (not kid) or celebration package? masarap ba ang food nila? usually kase kapag catered nang hotel hindi masarap ang food...

^ I attended a kiddie party at Discovery Suites last year.  Okay naman ang food.  Masarap at maraming servings.  My friend (mommy ng celebrant) got kiddieparty.com ata for the host and decor.  May separate supplier din siya for photo booth.

@marose, do you have an idea how much inabot sa discovery suites? If naging flexi lang mister ko sa location ok sana sa ortigas ang daming choices sa venue.

^ I have no idea eh.  Okay nga sa Discovery Suites.  May free overnight stay pa raw kasama sa package.  I'll post here pag nalaman ko ang mga detalye.

Sis, depends on the # of your guest. Gh west is bigger-250 or more, while si northeast, i think mga 200 or less pa .

Anyone who had their event na sa One Cafe & Events Place sa Ortigas na nagrent ng Cafe + Function B? Am planning to book them kasi pero not sure pa since we haven't tried their food pa. Tapos I don't know how the venue looks like pag bare since we dont have a budget for a stylist. Kaya naman gusto ko yung Cafe kasi hindi na kelangan bisihan dahil resto na sya.

I need feedback lang on how to go about with the seating of the guests if we're to rent Function B + Cafe. Tsaka feedback din dun sa lasa ng food nila.

i was devastated in AMISTOSA Tierra Nueva in Alabang - soo unprofessional.

We went there last Sat and texted the contact person at 7am that we will do the ocular by 9am. When we went there, we are good with the venue and i asked if may kasabay kami na event (kasi we are eyeing to rent 2/3 of the venue) then she said yes and afternoon daw pupuntayung isang client. So i told her, i will book and pay the deposit na then she stunned and told me na pupunta yung isa pang magoocular, so sabi ko, e kami na magpay ng DP di ba? so kami nauna, then she made a call (i dont know who) then when she came back, she guided us to their office for the contract signing and payment.

After only 2 hrs, i received a call from her saying that she had a mistake to accept my booking kasi daw nauna yung isa, sabi ko panong nauna e hapon pa lang sya pupunta so technically kami ang una at kami ang MAY CONTRACT. then she was insisting me to just change my booked date or move it in the morning. So i said a BIG NO, kaya ko nga binook yung date and time na preferred ko. I was so devastated and even asked her to talk with the manager. Even the manager was so absurd, pilit niya na sinasabi to move my event to accomodate both which is unacceptable to me. If they would consider me and the other client - i must be the one since i was the first and had contract. then i handed over the phone to my husband to talked to him kasi nahihighblood na ko. Super palusot pa sa mister ko na kesyo nauna yung isa so my husband suspected that they might change the control number since manual lang sya...not autonumbered.

Until my husband says to the manager to hung up and we need to talk it over. Pero we both dont like there anymore for that incident happened. One more, they even asked us to go back there for the refund.. how hassle e sila tong nang hassle samen.

Til last Wednesday, the staff texted me this exact words "Ma'am we decided on re scheduling your event. we blocked the date of july 6, 2013m or morning of July 7"
o di ba ang kapal! sinong magpaparty ng umaga?

sis, try tierra pura clubhouse. tandang sora but malapit lang sa commonwealth. 8k ata sya when I inquired last feb.

also, meron din sa winston st. sa west fairview, 5k for 4 hours i think. bahay lang siya talaga with pool. malaki din yung place. then add decors na lang dahil super bare and medyo luma na yung place. pero kaya naman maconceal thru balloons and decors.
