^^ you may use lock & lock or biokips ice cube trays with cover. Then pag frozen na, transfer to a freezer (ziploc) bag. Everyday, thaw however many cubes in the ref. lagay mo lang sa any sealed cup. you can buy yung mga nuby Cups like this, cheaper than avent via.

sis grayce, may i ask, what was the first food you let your son eat? i plan to introduce avocado sana kasi. i am determined to introduce it at 6months even with hubby and pedia's desire to introduce it now at 5months. nanay pa rin naman ang masusunod. hehe. :)
dapat lang tayo ang nasusunod :P I think the first foods I gave my son was pureed carrots, pureed apples/fresh apples that i scraped using a metal spoon, pear, and yes avocado. paborito nya avocado :) at first i mash and thin it using breast milk then nung ok na cya with it, i mix it with a little rice/wheat grain cereals from earth's best.

Sis san ka nagpa-giling ng rice? And ang labas ba nito is powder? How do you plan to cook it? Sorry daming tanong, I'm kinda confused kasi when people say na rice or cereals I dunno if dapat ilugaw or what...

^pag cereals you just add liquid (breast milk in my case). di ko lang alam kung paano yung sa mga gumagawa mismo from rice (millet ata tawag nila? pakicorrect pls mommies)

^^kind of :) you just thaw a small amount or the quantity ng kaya kainin ni baby. before tinatancha ko na 1oz per cube ang ginagawa ko. or i store them in via cups then the night before i place it in the chiller na para magthaw. must be consumed in 3 days tho.

^you have space issues ba sa freezer? you can transfer the cubes in a ziplock plastic after nila mafreeze. eto ginagawa ko pag kulang na sa space ang freezer dahil sa breast milk

medyo, sis grayce. maliit lang kasi freezer space namin. minsan, punong puno na yung freezer! hehe! :-) i'm just wondering lang, safe po ba yung mga freezer ziplocks? i mean, kahit hindi sterilized like sa milk bags, okay lang ba yun paglagyan ng food ni baby? :-)

Hi alva! Question where did you get/buy your ice cube trays with cover & container? And may I ask how much it is? Will need to stock up on these items as my baby will be starting on solids a month frim now & ayoko sana mag-last minute ng pagbili lalo na if medyo expensive sya kasi kelangan din i-budget ko sya. Hehe. TIA.

I asked yung saleslady if meron sila biokips na ice cube tray with cover, kaso wala daw stock. :-( sayang. so far, okay naman ang resulta nung nabili ko, maayos ko naman siyang nagagamit. issue ko lang ngayon is maliit kasi freezer space namin, hahaha. :-)

sis cldy_1981, bumili kame ng organic brown rice sa supermarket then sa palengke lang pinagiling. parang cerelac hitsura nya after magiling. :) like sis grayce, bm ang plan ko na ilagay dun, bawas na lang sa stash namin. :) try muna namin yung ratio na 1:2, then if still thick, gagawing 1:4. will alternate this with happybellies. excited na ako! pwede naman i-heat yung bm, huwag lang i-microwave. 1tbsp will do na siguro per meal. so like 2tbsp is good enough for the day na. 2wks to go!

^yes sis, but mabilis lang naman maluto yun. kelangan lang matunaw. hindi kasi ako kampante if lalagyan lang ng mainit na tubig. sensitive pa tummy ni baby, baka lalong di matunawan if lalagyan lang ng mainit na tubig.

^ parang lugaw at pag lutuin?

Ako noon, i just used my blender/osterizer to grind rice. Pero di maganda consistency nito if you freeze then thaw by dipping in warm water.
