we had our company outing at Virgin Beach Resort. rate is 10,000 for an airconditioned casita which is good for 4pax.

- it's a bit expensive compared sa ibang resorts sa laiya (based on Agoda), specially wala naman ditong pool. still the place is very relaxing for me. very maintained ang beachfront. i love the place even more at night. ang ganda. pang mayamaneffect. hehe

- dahil mejo mahal, the area is not crowded. good point.

- food is good for me. ang sarap nung pagkaluto sa grilled shrimp at italian spaghetti(and more). pero half of our group di masyadong nagustuhan. may corkage ang lahat ng alak at pagkain (except for snacks) so di na kami nagdala.  as for the price, sakto lang. may kamahalan as expected.

- service is uhm annoying. parang hindi masaya ang staff while serving us. nagbayad naman kami. hahaha! since snacks are not included in our package, we ordered some snacks before we checkout. ang sagot samin busy daw sila kasi may dadating na ibang company na magtteambuilding din. wow! haha so ok lang magutom kami dun. 

..mas maiintindihan ko sana kung sinabi nalang nila na "we are busy, and if its ok, can we offer you shakes instead or anything na madali iprepare.."..

oh well. buti nalang di ako gumastos dito. hehe

anong mas ok in terms of ceonvenience and budget:

- stay overnight in Maricaban Island, or Masasa Beach (camping) then Island hopping around sa mga nearby islands (Malajibomanoc Island, Sombrero Island?, etc)

- stay in Anilao then mag-siland hopping sa mga islang to?

Anyone of you how to contact La Luz Beach Resort? They are not answering their contact numbers and email. Pag hindi talaga sumagot sa Stilts na lang kami. May food na kasi sa La Luz kaya gusto sana namin dun. TIA!

Welcome sis actually yung ibang numbers na nakalagay sa flyers, nakalagay din sa website nila. pero grabe naman dapat yung numbers na nakalagay sa flyers nila siguraduhin nila na gumagana at macocontact sila para hindi nahihirapan clients nila.

Maganda rin naman ang beachfront nila( pero mas maganda pa rin sa akin ang beach front ng Virgin Beach resort- mahal nga lang) yun nga lang walang tv sa rooms nila at walang pool. i think mas cheaper ang rooms dito with food na compare sa Blue Coral

Yup okay sa La Luz! Very peaceful and clean. Very accommodating din yung staff. We loved our overnight stay and wished we could have stayed longer. I don't think the 1500 for the food was sulit though.

@minaco_aino, wala silang pool, walang tv sa room, basic lang yun accommodation nila pero malinis naman. yun food lang ang sablay kasi hindi sulit and most dishes were so-so lang.

however, if you are into snorkeling at love mo magswim sa malinaw na tubig, then super ok sa laluz kasi andun yun marine sanctuary e. hindi na nga lang sand ang beachfront nya kundi pebbles pero super malinaw naman ang tubig and ayun nga, maraming fish so enjoy ang snorkeling. yan actually yun reason why everytime we go to Laiya e laluz lang yun gusto namin na resort hehe.

We stayed in Palm Beach Resort in Laiya nung Holy Week. My friend who is from San Juan told me bago-bago lang itong resort.

The place is very nice, and the staff are so friendly. May infinity pools sila, golf carts to transport guests around, the usual water activities, etc. The beach isn't too crowded as well to think na Holy Week nung nagpunta kami, mas maraming nagsswim sa pool. Hehe it is also not so expensive considering the amenities they offer.

Highly recommended itong resort na ito.

^^luma na yun palm beach sis. baka bagong renovate lang or nag expansion siguro. pero yes maganda nga dyan. kinda secluded din ang feel. pero may kamahalan din ata ang rates nyan di ba?

^lampas la luz sis. if i remember it correctly, medyo baku bako na yun daan going there. actually simula la luz may baku bakong daan na rin e. so tuloy tuloy na yun hanggang palm beach at sa mga dulo pang resort (alam ko meron pang resort after palm beach e).

Hello mga sis!

We went to Fortune Island, in Nasugbu, Batangas yesterday. The boat ride costs P4000 (per boat), almost 2-hour travel from Nasugbu beach to Fortune Island itself. P300/head entrance to the island for day-tour, P400/head for overnight camping. No utilities in the island (electricity, water); wala din comfort rooms &/or shower doon. Bring your own drinking water, garbage bags, food.

The attractions are the beach & its snorkeling areas, ruins ala Greece's Parthenon, cliff diving sites, shipwreck.

We joined a group (organised by mountaineers; we were 11 adults plus 2 kids), thus we were able to save a lot from the trip. We only paid P400/head for the boat ride (big difference). We met in Nasugbu at around 6 AM, rode the boat at 1 of the beach resorts along Nasugbu (forgot its name, but may PADI office doon) & left Fortune Island at 4:30 PM. We showered at the beach resort where we were dropped.

Kagagaling lang ni hubby dito, outing sa company. Ok naman daw food, service and room. May sariling butler pa sila. Though mukha na luma pero makikita pa rin na maganda yung place.

went to Aquaria in Calatagan yesterday. Not so impressive ang beach and ang underwater. Murky and quite dirty. The pools are ok but not worth it if you're travelling all the way there from Manila.

hello girls. Im not sure if this is the right thread to post this in, but anyway... I'm planning a trip to Batangas for me and hub on our anniversary, and I want to rent a car (with driver) para hindi na stress yung travel. Any recommendations? Hatid-sundo lang, so the driver doesn't have to stay at the resort din. Thank you!!!
