Sis my friends and I went there about a month ago. Malayo talaga and dulo na. Pero okay naman kasi may mga signs along the road kung ilang kilometers away pa. And bring all things you will be needing na kasi walang store dun aside from Kultura and the nearest tindahan ay 20 or so minutes pa.

Ganon ba sis.takot kasi kami.di ba liblib yung daan don?yun kasi takot kami,baka halos walang dumadaan tapos parang gubat.incase na may emergency,wala tao.

if you want peace and relaxation, Stilts is the place.  Stayed there a couple of times this year and i will always love to go back.  They have the best service, very courteous and service oriented ang staff.  Had the best massage as well. I love staying at their hammocks, very relaxing.  For me, Stilts is a perfect place for a lover's getaway, a family retreat, or a team/barkada away day.

Accommodations -- very clean and crisp, relaxing ambiance
Food -- good if served hot, sometimes it is served cold if you have it served on the beach. small servings. around 300p on a dish good for 2 pax
Service --  AAA parang five star hotel
Location -- accessible, only 45mins from Tagaytay
Beach -- weedy like most Calatagan resorts, they have a long beach with clear shallow water
Pool -- refreshing and clean

just sharing my two cents if you're all looking for a getaway within a few hours drive from manila.  stilts is almost always fully booked on weekends, so reserve early.  hope this helps!

good afternoon sises! ask ko lang any recommended beach resort na ok sa batangas im starting to scout na for this coming holy week. medyo big group kasi kami e 25pax so medyo nahihirapan ako mag hanap. we wanted sana somewhere n may full board meals. i inquired stilts and they are booked sa thur-fri may company outing daw. la luz naman is closed for holy week. blue coral is ok with 4300/pax full board and balai san juan  with 3500/pax. we got cheaper since big group kmi but im still lookign for other resorts any suggestion? and has somebody been to balai sa san juan any feedback? thanks so much

Sis please help me. Its my bf's bday on feb. Gusto namin sana yung affordable na beach tapos ok naman yung place. Yung hindi mabato and malapit lang sana sa beach area. 2 lang din kami. Thanks mga sis in advance!

sis m ...sis I suggest sa Kabayan Beach Resort sa Laiya, Batangas, meron sila dun mga Cabana's for big groups, and also you can bring food, mas malaki pa ang matitipid niyo kasi meron kitchen dun sa Cabana at kumpleto den ang gamit, pati mga utensils provided na den so yung food na lulutuin na lang ang dadalhin

May nakapunta na ba sa Hamilo Coast Nasugbu,Batangas?kasi papa book na kami this week.bigla akong nag dalawang isip.kasi baka yung daan papunta dun may masukal o liblib.yung tipong pang Wrong Turn to Dead End 3 lang kasi kami.ako,asawa at anak ko.may kotse naman kami.kaso nakakatakot.sabi kasi nung taga Batangas na officemate ni huby,dulo na raw yung nasugbu. may nakapunta na ba dito sa inyo?or may kilala ba kayo na nakapunta na?problema lang kasi yung daan baka hindi safe,or wala katao-tao,baka delikado rin

Just spent the weekend in Pico de Loro  and ok naman yung road sis. It's wide enough and hindi sya bumpy. Hindi rin sya Parang gubat na feeling mo lost ka. ok talaga sis. You'll see signs and markers also along the way

sis ano marecommend nyo na resort yung maganda at di mabato yun beach may kasama kase kami mga kids.
plan namin dun icelebrate bday ng daughter ko. tapos mag overnight kami

^ pwede sis sa Coral Beach Resort sa Matabungkay, or Stilts sa Calatagan... if sa Laiya naman sa Kabayan Beach Resort meron den minsan nag propromo sa Canyon Cove sis sa mga deal sites..

^ pansin ko lang sis wala silang offer na free breakfast pwede kaya mag dala ng food dun sa Canyon   Cove??

pwede naman sis kasi meron kaming dala dati pero bread lang ganun.  hindi naman sila thorough mag check ng bag.  wala naman kasi silang lutuan or microwave.  unless yung suite room ang maibigay sa inyo.  pero parang yung regular rooms lang ang binibigay nila sa deals.

yun lang ang down side ng canyon.  limited ang food sa resto nila and medyo pricey saka so-so lang. though good for 3 naman ang serving.

sis, stilts lang ang alam kong bagay sa mood na gusto mo.  hindi kasi marami ang villas dun kaya tahimik kahit fully booked. or try mo sa club balai isabel, mukhang tahimik din dun.

sis mommy23 ...sis kung mag cocommute ok na saken ang Coral Beach Resort sa Matabungkay, kung may sasakyan ok den sa Stilts sa Calatagan... kung bandang kabilang area naman, pwede sa Laiya, affordable sa Kabayan Beach Resort... basta marinig lang ang waves habang palubog ang araw, sarap ng feeling

Nagpareserve na kami ng room sa Calatagan Peninsula Resort. It's a small place being maintained by Conserve and Protect Oceans Foundation. Maiksi yung shore but the resort looks cozy. It's a simple place lang pero mas gusto na namin yun kaysa crowded beach. 4k yung room for 8 pax . May aircon na and puwede magluto sa kitchen ng training center. I found the resort through a blog.
