My 1 month old daughter every 2-3 hours sya nagffeed... minsan, may times na super alert sya and gising ng 3-4 hours. Pero sa umaga lang. Sa gabi naman, ganun din... she feeds every 2-3 hours PERO if she's so sleepy at nakatulog sya ng di pa talaga sya satisfied, tapos binaba ko sa bassinet nya, after 30 mins to an hour, gigising sya ulit, iiyak, to feed...

mahirap minsan sya gisingin at night kasi nakakatulog while feeding... so ang ginagawa ko, pinapalitan sya ng nappy. Pag ayaw talaga magising at ayaw na kumain, binababa ko na sa bassinet... and hinahanda ko na sarili ko na panigurado tatayo na naman ako in about 30 mins :P

ahhh oo nga pala... SOBRANG ingay ng baby ko pag tulog! Pag nagiinat, parang malaking tao na yun sounds nya! Tapos minsan para pang kabayo yun sounds nya ;D basta sobrang ingay nya kaya hindi ako makatulog kahit tulog sya if we're in the same bedroom... now she's 1 month old, nilabas na namin yun bassinet nya to just outside our bedroom door. But we still leave the bedroom door ajar para maririnig ko pa rin kahit papano. And talaga namang rinig na rinig ko pa rin every sound she makes ;D light sleeper kasi ako! Konting galaw ni hubby sa kama nga, nagigising ako. Eto pang super ingay na baby ko! Sabi nga ng mom ko, baby ko lang daw nakita nyang sobrang ingay pag tulog! Kasi naman talaga parang malaking tao!!

Priceless

To TS: Hang in there. Meron yata talagang babies na light sleepers and fussy. Nung first two months ni baby, I used to dread afternoons to evenings dahil aside from the fact na every two hours gising, minsan sinasabayan pa ng colic. Talagang haggard na haggard ako noon dahil kulang na nga sa tulog, stressed pa dahil hindi ko alam kung papano patahanin si baby.

Eventually my MIL came around and suggested that I express milk and feed baby using the bottle, para malaman ko kung (1) how much baby needs to have maximum hours sleep/quiet time (2) how much milk can I produce during the maximum hours - in my case it was 4 hours. Bale pinagexperimentohan ko si baby when he was about two months para alam ko kung ilan oz. of milk ba ang busog point nya. With that at least alam ko na hindi GUTOM ang dahilan ng iyak nya - either he wants to be carried, o ipapasyal o kakausapin o may masakit/uncomfortable sya.

It also helps if you get them to a routine. For example nga, basta busog si baby ko, I know the next feeding would be four hours after. So nagreready na ako just before that kasi on the dot sya and iiyak pag na late ang milk (either the expressed milk or direct bf). Sa umaga pag gising nya, punas punas then change outfit then milk time. Sa gabi ang ligo nya, milk time then play/story time. Pag may routine na sya, you can plan your activities/rest  sa schedule ni baby. That way hindi siya naka-tali sa iyo for the whole day at hindi ka din stressed kakaintay baka magising/umiyak si baby.

my daughter is 3 mos old na...sya naman grabe matulog, puro tulog na lang ginawa kaya sobrang konti lang ng milk ang nako-consume nya..buong araw syang tulog, gigising lang sandali pag sobrang gutom na, tapos pag binigyan ko ng milk, minsan nakakatulugan pa..sa gabi ganun din, may time pa na last milk intake nya was at 9 pm, then she woke up at around 6-7 am na ata para mag-milk...advantage sa amin ni hubby kasi di kami napupuyat, ilapag lang sya sa crib nakakatulog na after few minutes...her pedia is not worried naman kasi she's gaining weight pa din, pero gusto ko sana mas malaki ang weight gain nya at maging medyo chubby din, napapayatan kasi ako sa kanya :(

I have a 4 week old boy and i noticed that lately he hasnt been sleeping the "normal" 2-3 hr strethes in between feedings. He would nap anytime from 5-30 mins, wake up cry or want to feed again. Im not sure if this is normal?

Are your babies the same & whatethods donyounuse to help them sleep?

I remember when my baby used to sleep just like that. I'd cuddle him and make sure na he feels cozy talaga kasi malaki ang stress sa babies lalo na if newborn kasi they were used to the safe feeling sa tummy mo and now parang may "separation anxiety" sila.

Normall routine namin ng hubby ko
1) Check diapers
2) Try feeding
3) Burp (challenging)
4) Check if sweaty or feeling too cold

What worked??
1) White noise - check youtube for white noise or  for techie moms download Relax M na app for apple products not sure if meron sa android...

Hang in there mommy. You are not alone!!!! :)
