Salman Rushdie

Takes me too long to read his books, at minsan na A-ADD ako sa middle ng story, but he is my favorite author. So many chunks of wisdom and by the end of the novel, you will be figuring out the symbolism and significance of multiple plots.

Used to read Salman Rushdie nung dalaga pa ako. Midnight's Children I find it parang Forrest Gump Indian style. It may not be entirely my interest (though natapos ko ang book) but I learned good writing styles from Rushdie on this book. I won't forget how he described the part when the bicycle factory got burned.
Yung Satanic Verses, binili ko out of curiosity because of the controversy surrounding it. Too long to finish, hindi ko na natapos. It was hard for me to find a copy kasi banned ito sa maraming countries.
The Haroun and the Sea of Stories, naipasa ko sa anak ko ngayon.
