Which is a better option, bring dollars and exchange them there sa BKK, or exchange my pesos to baht na sa Czarina sa Makati?

And I plan to shop, mostly for my own clothes and pangreregalo sa mga tao sa Pasko. Pero mostly, para sakin lang talaga. Strict ba ang customs?

^ yes, the first option is better. Bring your dollar and exchange it sa BKK. Sa airport marami na dun money changer,mag change ka na sakto lang hanggang sa makarating ka sa hotel..kung pratunam area ka mag stay sa may baiyoke sky hotel may katapat yun na money changer, *censored* EXCHANGE competitive ang rates nila.. if khao san ka naman magaganda din ang rates nila dun..pwede ka na mag papalit ng big amount kahit pano..

Hindi naman strict ang customs lalo na pag alam nila galing bangkok..alam kase siguro nila na pang shopping talaga ang kadalasan ginagawa sa BKK.

^ Sis, to be safe, I divided my money. May dala akong cash, tapos may laman din ATM ko. Ayoko lang kasing magdala ng cold cash na malakihan.

^^ Natawa naman ako at na-censor yung name ng exchanger hahahaha! Ang babaw ko pero kinunan ko ng pictures lahat ng makita kong signage na may 'porn' sa Bangkok when I was there noong June.

Sa mga galing lang sa Bangkok, or sa mga andun pa ngayon, what's the current USD to THB rate?

hi mga sis, i'll be in Bangkok next week Oct14-18. Sana okay un weather. This thread is really helpful, thanks for sharing your experiences. once I got back I will also share mine.

@icegayle, sis interested din ako don sa dinner cruise. Saan ka nakaavail ng 800baht w/buffet? Sana maalala mo, kasi ang mahal sa site nasa 1000+ baht per adult. TIA!

Sis, I think I posted it here na yun sa cruise. Pero here it goes..
Don lang kami ng book sa may khaosan area. Hindi sya exactly sa Khaosan road. Ngboat kasi kami from BTS, on our way walking to Khaosan road may maliit na pasilyo (nagiisang agent lang yun sa pasilyo na yun may katapat na resto) before yun ng  temple may mga shops at resto don nasa left side sya. Nawala na kasi namin yun receipt, ang laki ng discount na binigay nya sa amin. Baht800 for dinner cruise and 850baht for siam niramit, no transfer ito.

Hi ladies, eto yung itinerary namin sa Bangkok. My friend and I will be there end of this month. Any comments? May mga tourist spots ba na sobrang popular na na-miss ko? Gusto ko din sanang i-try yung tiger temple, pero super mahal naman chaka ang aga, from 5am to 2pm yung tour. I'll take this into consideration na lang muna siguro.

di pa din nagrereply ang guesthouse na pinagtanunangan ko    sana sumagot na para makamove on nako sa accomodation. hehe.

mga sis may nakapagcommute na ba from floating market to elephant village? tipid trip lang kasi para pandagdag na lang sa shopping. 2 lang kasi kami, pag naghire ng sasakyan mahal

hi mga sis! i am finalizing my accommodation and tanong ko lang sana if anyone here had stayed in lub d hostel? plan ko kasi sana dun. bale in siam square. is the location okay already? near bts siya per tripadvisor. I am travelling alone kasi so iniisip ko sana [textspeak!] accessible and cheap lang. tia!
