@sis hayne22- kahapon morning while waiting na mag open [textspeak!] cafeteria ng kc place at 8am naglakad kami ng friend ko at nagpunta dun sa may tiange sa tapat ng bayoke hotel ayun madami din ako nakita for 1hour na pagtitingin, after ng tour namin at 4pm
Sa platinum mall na kami nag pababa at nag shopping until 7pm, mamaya puro shopping na lang gagawin namin, this morning try namin bayoke buffet breakfast then shopping na, puro dress and tops mga nabili ko at dadagdagan kopa kc target ko mga max of 300pcs eh nasa less than 40 palang nabibili ko

^ naku sis wala pa sa kalahati yung target number of items mo..IMO kung ang target mo is ganon ka bulk dapat nag allot ka ng atleast 2 whole days sa pamimili ng kailangan mo.. i suggest you go there sa labas ng baiyoke hotel yun nga yung mga tent dun around 5am bkk time..madami ka na sigurong makukuha nun..pero try mo lang ikutin yang pratunam madami ka ng mabibili dyan..may mga malls din yung tapat ng platinum mall, yun most likely wholesaler din sila..tignan ko yung mga receipts ko para makita ko yung mga address.. HTH!

^ saan pa pm hahah oo mainit kahit di masyado nalabas ai hari araw. Kc place kami stay sa likod lang ng bayoke hotel, kahapon sis dun kami una nagpunta around 7am bkk time konti pa lang mga naka set na tent

Mga sis Sept 14-19 kami sa Thailand. Sabi ng officemate ko umuulan daw dyan sa BKK. Kagagaling lang kasi nya dyan. thanks

^ hindi naman umulan dito malapit kami sa platinum mall, baka sa iba area maulan heheh, init nga eh kahit hindinasikat ang araw, bukas na uwi namin

^Mabuti naman sis, ok lang mainit wag lang maulan hirap mamasyal at magpa-picture. Pattaya muna kami from Sept14-17 then after nong BKK na till Sept19.

Pag weekdays Ang konti ng mga shoppers tsaka yung mga stall s may tapat ng platinum ang aga nagsasara, napansin ko lang kasi nung sat & sun ang dami mamimili tapos kahapon d na siksikan, pati sa platinum mall as in wala masyado naikot ko nga ulit platinum at 2x ko naikot yung market sa tapat

Kakabalik ko kang from bangkok via clark and tigerairways ok naman ang flight  ahead pa nga ang time of arrival, all in all smooth ang travel ko

^sis, baka kulangin time mo sa day4 na shopping day. Kasi sa platinum mall palang super dami ka ng makikita and mabibili eh. Puwede mo rin isama sa day 3 yung ibang shopping mo. You might also want to check out pratunam market sis. Super mura dun and enjoy din magshopping.

kakabili ko lang ng thb kanina sa BDO, 1.33 ang selling rate nila. Bangkok next week. salamat sa mga masisipag mag post dito, nabuo rin ang itinerary ko.

ang uwi namin ng saturday is 12:40AM so we still have time ng Friday to go shopping just like sa itinerary ko. Saan kaya pwedeng iwanan ang baggage namin para makapaglibot kami ng maayos before going to airport?

^sis, we tried the chao praya princess cruise. Super ok siya. I like the ambience.  ok rin naman yung food. You can leave your luggages in the hotel muna after check out then balikan niyo nalang pag pupunta na kayo sa airport.

^sis, we tried the chao praya princess cruise. Super ok siya. I like the ambience.  ok rin naman yung food. You can leave your luggages in the hotel muna after check out then balikan niyo nalang pag pupunta na kayo sa airport. 

Yang ang first choice ko. 2nd choice ko yung white orchid.

I still owe this thread my BKK report. Here it goes:

Sunflower Place - a diamond in the rough. Thanks for our sis here who suggested the place. A good find for BHT890/night for a twin room.

Day 1 - Grand Palace. Huwaw! Really grand and sparkly and shiny! We weren't able to finish the temple near this (anubayan, I can't recall the name)
Day 2 - Chatuchak Weekend Market vs. shopping girls. Market wins. The place is so big and overwhelming. I got stressed and cranky exploring the place. Ang hirap mamili kapag sobrang dami ng choices. A lot of locals came with a mission: To shop and shop. They came with they wheeled bags.
Day 3 - Ayutthaya day tour. A lady tuktuk driver offered her services at BHT 200/hour. We haggled for BHT 700 for 4 hours. tee hee!. Pwede nyo rin i-haggle then just give the same amount na parang yung naitawad nyo, tip na lang nya.
Day 4 - shopping at MBK, flight back to Manila.

Since we stayed in Silom, we did our shopping in the Patpong Night Market. Their prices are highly overpriced. When you ask for the price of something, they will say a uber bloated amount. When you walk away, they will shout back half the price. When you are 5 steps away, they will call out 30% of the uber bloated amount. Sila na yung tumatawad!  Although when we did our shopping night na talaga, parang ayaw na nila mag-offer ng discount masyado kasi umuulan at onti lang yung tao.

In MBK, a lot of prices are "tapat na" prices. You can't haggle it anymore. I find shopping there more relaxing kasi aircon, prices are posted already and  I don't have to do any haggling. Some sellers will be really pushy that you name your price when you walk away. Ayoko nun. Yung ibang items kasi, I'm just curious to know how much is the real price, I do not plan to buy kaya I don't haggle.

We ate at the food market near the Sunflower Place where the menu is not translated and almost everyone who eats there is a local. We survived using sign language and turo-turo lang.

Grabe I fell inlove with The sukosol hotel nung nakita ko photos sa agoda at sa website nila. It's a 5 star hotel according to agoda. ang mura lang per night. may nakapag stay na ba dito?
