@sis jk-well, ok lang sana mag-bike around ayutthaya since mas mura siya, kaso, nakakapagod...i mean, di lang sa init, but the fact the baba, akyat, tatawid ka pa nang parang san juanico bridge ang dating...and di pa sila magbibigay ng helmet...talagang tagatak ang pawis mo...if you are planning to do this, bring a cap, bottled water and extra shirt...karamihan na gumagawa nito eh mga europeans...

thanks for the info blessedgurl! we were thinking kasi if we should buy thb here(mnl) or usd muna. mahal ang thb dito at cheap na ang usd ngayon. for bangkok, what time do the malls open (platinum, mbk, etc)? 10am rin ba?

Thaks mga sisses, parang ang cute lang kasi magbike kami ni hubby since first time namin travel without our chikitings parang romantic hindi pala 

i booked tickets na sa siam niramit, dinner cruise and madame Tussauds through Hotels2Thailand website saw thay they are offerring ayuthaya tours din so i'll check later nalang.

^yes sis izzybaby 10am pa open, yung Platinum Fashion Mall maaga mag close, usually mga 7pm pa lang nagsasara na yung ibang shops. MBK closes at 10pm.

For the info of those wanting to buy THB I bought kanina at Czarina and the prevailing exchange rate is Php1.42 to THB1.00 medyo tumaas ngayon

bought a few THB last week from BPI, bank rate is 1.37 (limited nga lang). Sa BPI Forex Paseo maraming available kaso exchange rate is 1.5. Kaya I decided to bring USD na lang

For our trip next week, I booked the View with a Room of the Bangkok Tree House (www.bangkoktreehouse.com/index.php). It's a relatively new eco-friendly hotel across the Chao Phraya river. They have an ongoing stay-3-pay-2-nights promo since soft opening pa lang sila. Medyo malayo sa center of Bangkok if one intends to go shopping and touring the temples. But this trip is purely relaxation and food tripping. Looking forward to visiting the floating market of Bang Namphueng!

Guys, you don't have to have THB when you go to Thailand. There are currency exchange outlets at the airport, plus you can withdraw directly from your ATM at any  - you'll get the money in THB.

Will be in BKK on Nov. ok lang ba mag day tour sa Cambodia then from Cambodia to Vietnam? Need inputs. And and feedback who stayed sa lub d silom,  thanks.

^I used to get my THB mismo in Bangkok when the Peso was still higher than the THB. But now na mas mataas na si THB kay Peso I buy here in Manila na. Kung walang time or availability I just bring USD. And if you're planning to change sa airport just exchange a few amount for your fare kasi sobrang baba ang exchange rate dun. The best pa rin to change your money downtown. Oh and no charges when you exchange your money.
