Hello mga sis..never been to bangkok..but na iintriga ako sa mga news nyo dito sa thread...if ever ba mamili ako nang mga paninda dun mura ba talaga? At if ever marami akong mabili may door to door ba dun na forwarder na mura lang na pwede kong ipadala mga pinamili ko? Tia

For the BKK regulars, does anybody know kung merong elevator sa Bang Na BTS station? Hubby and I will be staying at the Bang Namphueng area and dyan daw yung station to get off before we head off to the pier to cross the Chao Phraya river. TIA!

First time ko sa Bangkok last week. Ang saya!!! Ang dami kong nabiling murang damit sa Pratunam, Balik ako this October for my Christmas shopping.

^Yup, there's a Magic Food Point foodcourt at the arrival area. You exchange your cash for coupons. The stalls there don't accept cash kasi. In case you have left over coupons you can exchange it back to cash.  At the lower arrival area where you take the trains to the city, merong 7-11, Dairy Queen, Subway, etc.

Another question lang mga sis, sa mga nag Ayutthaya na, ok lang ba after lunch yung tour. Plan ko kasi early lunch, leave at 12 then, around 2 PM start yung tour then balik ng  5 Pm tapos derecho sa dinner cruise.  ok lang ba yun? TIA

hi mga sis! i am booked for bangkok later this year and i am going there alone. would that be fine po? and how much po ang should be budget ko since i am travelling alone? i am planning to go to some tourist spots then shopping. hihi. also, any recommended inns? TIA!

^^ Kaya naman sis mag isa, very friendly and accommodating ang mga Thai Chaka mura lang sa bangkok, mura ang pagkain, mura commute kahit taxi

Has anyone tried the elephant ride in Khao Yai National Park. Will be in Bangkok on Aug 18-22 at kasama po to sa itinerary namin and malapit lang daw sa Bangkok. Thanks!

- cheap
- clean
- Bfast included
- fast wifi
- big rooms, with safe box
- near BTS national stadium station,
- walking distance sa MBK Mall, Siam Paragon, Siam Discovery
- 10 mins to Platinum or Pratinum Mall via taxi (THB 50)
- friendly & accomodating staff
- taxi from airport to Vista residence (THB 350 including tollfee and surcharge)
- taxi from Vista to airport (THB 250)
- they have a small resto. cheap, clean & masarap yung food. maraming students & locals na kumakain dun. (meals costs around THB40-60)

Cons:
no elevator kasi 4 floors lang but they will assist you naman with your luggage.

We were planning to stay here, kaso fully booked sila. So i cannot give a review. But it looks cool and malapit rin sa MBK mall.

TIP: bring USD instead of Peso. Mas malaki yung exchange rate ng USD. Last week it was around 31.57 sa MBK mall ground floor. Sa airport it was just 30.28 . Peso was 0.52 lang sobrang baba

For your budget, it depends on your itinerary and shopping power hehe. I can give you the entrance fee na lang and estimated fare.

Tourist Spots:

Grand Palace = THB 400
(from BTS National Stadium station to Saphan Taksin Station= THB 30 / Tourist Ferry to Grand Palace THB40 / pag yung regular ferry lang THB 15 kaso nakakatakot sobrang puno yun )

WatPho = THB 100

WatArun = THB 50
(Round trip ferry from WatPho to WatArun= THB 6.00 )
(Ferry Back to Central Ferry Station TBH=15)
(BTS back to National Stadium = THB 30)

Ayutthaya = we took a package tour na lang para less hassle. THB 1,200 wholeday Ayutthaya & Banpu Palace tour including lunch and hotel pick-up.

hello mga sisses! just read from somewhere that you can roam around ayuthaya by bike, rent ka daw dun sa may labas...mas masaya ba? parang for me kasi masaya or hindi advisable sa init?

mas less hassle kung tour package?

^sis mainit. We also planned to DIY Ayutthaya buti na lang tinamad ako kasi masakit na paa ko kakalakad for 2 days. Na-appreciate ko yung tour package kasi may van that will take you around. I call it "my aircon break" hehe

^oo sis jk_1234 may bike for rent nga dun, di ko lang alam kung magkano, nakita lang namin yung ibang foreigners, di kasi advisable yun lalo na kung di mo alam yung mga pupuntahan mo dun  and yun nga mainit.

pero okay naman mag DIY sa Ayutthaya,  madali lang naman, saka yung tuktuk driver, sya na din yung tour guide nyo
