Something that would make me go aaaww... Like proposal sa tabing dagat (beach ha, hindi sa roxas blvd)  , or somewhere romantic....

Pero believe me ladies, no matter how or where your bfs proposed to you, if you really love him, mapapa-aaaawwww ka talaga. My ex-boyfriend (now hubby na kasi), proposed biglaan lang. Bigla lang nya sinabi, pano na? Ano sa tingin mo? Very unromantic, di tuloy ako nakasagot kagad. Pero after a few days, pinapunta nya ako sa house nila para sunduin sya (nainis pa ako kasi sa kin pa nagpasundo), naglabas sya ng bouquet of flowers (na galing pa sa ref) hehe... Super saya ko kasi first time in5 years sya nagbigay ng bulaklak, tapos nakadikit sa ibaba yung box na may singsing. so, official na. and i loooooove the ring. Hahaha....

Kakakilig din yung proposal ni Patrick Dempsey kay Reese Witherspoon sa Sweet Home Alabama na movie. Yung dinala sya sa Tiffany and Co. tapos pinapili ng singsing na gusto nya. Bongga. Kaso hindi sila nagkatuluyan. Hahaha...

imagine a really grand proposal, yung tipong in front of a crowd, may tv/video coverage with matching helicopters and rose petals pa but by someone you cant see yourself with in the long run! 
aayaw ka ba? or mapipitan ka na lang um-oo kasi kahiyaan na lang.. EPIC FAIL!

Ayoko ng grand and public proposal, mas gusto ko kami lang, get down on one knee, pero dapat pinaghandaan pa rin niya talaga! Think proposal scene sa movie Serendipity...girl comes homes from work..petals sa doorway leading to a huge wrapped box...inside is a box within a box...then ring! ganun lang simple, sweet, intimate.

Yung nangyari kasi sakin may ibang tao sa paligid eh nakakahiya tuloy magreact lol! At wala ng element of surprise kasi nagaway pa kami prior to his plan tapos nasabi niya he's to propose all ready na ...kaya I was expecting it from then on.

Naku, I used to dream of having a grand proposal! yung tipong nasa public place with all the drama! Kaya nga nung first time namin mag-out of town ni bf (now my husband), saktong 4th year anniv namin, nag-expect talaga ako! Na sana habang nasa cebu kami or sa floating reataurant sa bohol. Pero walang nangyari. Kasi etong si mother (my mom), biglang nagwala at pilit pinauwi kami! Sobrang hassle yung nangyari! Dapat nagcecelebrate kami ni BF for our anniv pero ngarag kami to check earliest flight to manila. Emotional blackmail na kasi ginagawa ng mother ko para lang umuwi na kami.

But a week later, mainit ulo ko kay BF kasi ang bagal bagal magdrive, pupunta kami sa kanila eh wala naman palang tao. Sayang ang oras kasi ang layo din naman ng bahay nila sa amin. Then pop! He show me the engagement ring! Naiyak na ko nun! Kasi kahit pala saan, kahit walang drama or kahit hindi sa dream proposal ko yung naging proposal nya, nakakaiyak pa din! I was so overwhelm especially sa ring kasi ang ganda! Diamond studded talaga! Tipong pinag-ipunan talaga nya!

timing na timing tong question na to, i've been having hints about bf proposing to me, asked me how i want to be proposed on and what my actual ring size is. madali lang naman talaga, what i want is first, it must be a complete surprise, second ring must fit perfectly, the proposal must have video without me knowing it syempre, kasi i want to have something to keep to show our kids in the future and lastly he must be sincere in having me in his life. i don't mind where, ayoko din sana ng madaming tao, gusto ko private and intimate kind of proposal, bf is dropping hints which is i don't really like, gusto ko talagang complete surprise, somewhere romantic tapos kapag yung feeling na bumilis tibok ng puso mo, that is what my bf wants to do, i don't know how he'll do it but at least hindi sya mangangapa of how i want it to be.since then he's been quiet about it which is making me really nervous din at the same time, looks like i will definitely be surprised after all... we'll see...

second, ring must fit perfectly

I remember when my, then, bf proposed, hindi nagkasya yung ring (sinukat nya raw sa half ng daliri nya yung dating ring ko kaya kala nya ganun pa rin kaliit daliri ko). Hehe... Pinilit kong suotin, nagkasya sa pinkie finger ko lang hahaha.... Nawala yung moment....but after he proposed, derecho kami sa place where he bought it to have it resized. Ang ganda!

setting: rooftop - i like my friends rooftop, bale on the 4th flr of their house.

pagpasok ko pinto, may candles on the floor which lit the room..then maybe rose petals on the floor as well (white and red) tapos may balloons on the ceiling with laces that i can reach and touch..tapos susundan ko yung candles palabas ng veranda sa rooftop then bigla tutugtog ang "just the way you are" ni billy joel (dedicated song nya kasi to for me harhar)..then may naka-set up na table for two..pagkatapos same environment sa loob ng room na pinanggalingan ko, with candles, rose petals and balloons all over..tapos bigla lilitaw si bf from behind and then we'll dance until the music fades..

tapos ayun na! the big question! hahaha

Sis, nakakakilig naman ito! ako naman almost 5 years na kami ng boyfriend ko. dumaan kami sa stage na naiinip na ako at minamadali ko na siya, up until nagdedemand ako ng ER from him. sabi ko gusto ko maganda yung ring, tapos dapat may secret video para macapture yung moment na yun. nakakakilig isipin na yung taong mahal mo eh naiisip at seryoso talagang gusto kang makasama habangbuhay. mahal na mahal ko siya at kahit anong way siya mag-propose, feeling ko maiiyak ako at of course, hinding hindi ko siya tatanggihan!
