^wow sis ang layo ng difference. They showed me samples of the cakes our caterer usually orders from them. its worth 10k daw. 3 tiers bottom layer edible. then they qouted me 7500 for 2 tier bottom layer edible. so medyo surprised ako with the 14.5k for just an extra 2 tiers from your orig package. i was expecting around 5-7k lang if ever upgrade.

They said ganun talaga ang price because by upgrading, yung bottom layer will increase in diameter too.. Note that with the 14.5K, the edible layer will be the second to the bottom one. If the edible layer will be the bottom one, it will be at least 16.5K. :(

Really sis??!! My five layer cake with Hearts and Bells is only BOUT 17K... I got pa a free height upgrade at a bridal fair so the whole cake will be 3 ft tall.

Hi sis Chili1113, yeah.. when I read your post.. napa-isip ako kung worth it ba na iupgrade yung current package, or choose Hearts and Bells na lang :)

i caved and booked Joy San Gabriel. 5 inch per layer the standard 12,9,6 inches. so her price is 13,000. then I will add a topper and flowers to go with the cake.

It might seem a bit odd for my 300-400 guest to see a 3 layer cake but i settled on getting the cake I happen to like eating and making sure all layers are edible to make it a bit more cost effective.

Finally booked our wedding cake yesterday. I requested a very minimalist all-white cake with lots of blooming sugar flowers at the top. :) We also got an unexpected blessing---we got it at a significant discount because as it turns out one of the local country clubs where my FMIL is chairman sources all the wedding cakes in their packages from the same bakeshop we approached for ours! So the owner had to extend to us the same discount they usually give to the club in exchange for the exclusivity & volume. Hehe. Weeee! One more done! Just a few more things to book/ buy and then moving on to documents & mini DIYs!

I am going to book for Icings, because when I tasted their Bunch of Roses cake, I instantly feel "This is it" I always love frosted Icing, their icing is not too sweet, it's just right, it's creamy too. Just how I like it. Tasted like heaven to me lol. https://scontent-hkg3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xat1/v/t1.0-9/11235386_824885757587918_6010855302755791304_n.jpg?oh=97a82cd6e3abf98e55f344972f607d72&oe=56119BF8

hi! what do you think of a black wedding cake? I saw this RonBen Israel wedding cake and I think it would be perfect as my decor is white/champagne/blush. Magiging standout yung black cake. Although my sister , who will be making the cake has reservations on a black wedding cake.
What do you guys, err girls think?

sisses, we might get 4500php three-layer cake ng hearts and bells. tipid mode. pero tagaytay wedding kami at ayaw ni h2b magbayad ng oot fee na 3k for that. sabi nya ibibilin na lang daw nya sa relatives nya to pick it up in the morning. dunno if safe decision yun. whatchathink of transporting your own three-layer cake?

Hi sis, :D  what is your motiff? Or is it champagne, blush and white already?  What does your husband-to-be think of a  black cake?  and is it going to be purely black? or is it like black and white ?

Black cakes are quite unique, not everyone uses them.  Either it's really glamorous or you're like a rock star chick :D .  But given the correct design, there are lots of black cakes that are quite avant garde :D

Here are some cakes I've seen in google :D that are quite nice :D  https://borntobeabride.files.wordpress.com/2013/11/black-and-white-wedding-cakes-01.jpg
