SEX the day before menstruation period. Is it safe?

Hi guys! i need some help here. Me and my boyfriend had our sex last march 21 and my period should start the next day, march 22. My problem is, i still don't have my period and i'm delayed for 5 days already. What should i do? I would appreciate any help and suggestions. Women with the same experience with me can also post here. Thank You!

Why not buy a pregnancy kit na lang sis? Para magka-peace of mind ka na.... Just like what other posted, sana nga safe.
I also have regular period.
Twice pa lang ko naging delayed... When i got pregnant w/ my 2 kids.... Unfortunately, hindi effective samen yang 7 days before & after. Dyan sila nabuo. 

Pag false alarm yan sis, better use a contraceptive na para hindi ka na maworried.

I'm actually irregular, and the time when we do it with my bf, it was 10days after.. we used withdrawal naman.. pero as what i've read in some articles every after daw talaga he must wash, like he must clean his.. then ang nangyari at that time he didn't cleaned up and may tumalsik konti sa akin outside.. I'm scared lang siguro..

Hoping this coming Apr. 15 datnan na ako.. paranoid talaga ako..  pero so far wala naman signs pa..
Just want to share.. praning lang po.. hehe hehe. pero what's safer after period or before?? will wait for a reply.. possible ba na fertile ako nun?

hmm.. sa pagkakaalam ko 14th day ang fertile period.. hehe may iba kasi nagfefertile ng masmaaga or delayed.. hope you are not fertile back then.. safe sex 7 days before and 7 days after ng fertile period.. ako nga kahit 3 days before and 5 days hehe for 6 years of being active in sex..

hehe kung talsik depende ata sa motility ng sperm ng bf mo.. pwedeng mabuo or hindi kasi di naman 100 % safe ang withdrawal.. better to use contraceptives if you really dont  want to get preggy.. hehe

yup, yun yung ideal fertile ka. PERO, kaya 7 days before/after lang ang recommended (ayon sa mga nabasa ko) kasi hindi naman namamatay agad ang sperm sa loob. it might live there till you get fertile, na maaaring ikabuntis. hindi ko lang sure kung ilan yung maximum life span ng sperm. =)

Having sex a day before your menstrual period is safer pa nga. Stress factor nga lang yung reason why na-delay ka. Ako naman most of the time pag stressed mas maaga for a day or two dumadating yung period ko.

Actually the fertility period varies. You have to determine the length of the shortest and longest cycles. Tapos may i subtract ka number that would determine the period of fertility. (Hindi ko din mahanap sa net yung method na yun) Pero we use the 10 days before and 10 days after the menstrual period. minsan nga hindi namin sinusunod baog yata e.lol

the thickness of the cervical mucus determines fertility too. Pag thick yung lumabas for sure fertile ka. The thickest consistency that also strings out pag pinaghiwalay mo fingers mo lumalabas pag peak ng ovulation mo.

more than talsik ang kailangan para maging preggy ka sis. millions of sperm cells are needed para masiguro na mabubuntis ka, kaya nga pag low ang sperm count ng lalaki eh nahihirapan silang bumuo ng baby with their wife. kaya kung talsik lang, no worries.

nagregister ako sa girltalk because of this thread..i have never had sex before puro heavy petting.. walang penetration..last saturday ganun ulit pero walang penetration hindi rin naman siya nilabasan.. i was supposed to get my period sa 16th, a month after my last period..naalala ko kasi tuwing sweldo or after sweldo ko nagkakaron lol.. pero hanggang ngayon wala pa rin..btw kahot walang nangyari praning pa rin ako kaya nagtake ako ng ecp two days after mali pa ata dosage ko kasi sinunod ko yung 2pills and then 2 pills again after 12 hours a total of 4 pills..dapat pala 8 pills total as what i've read..

For a woman having a 28-day cycle:

Let X = first day of menstruation

   b]X[/b] = rest of the days of menstruation (assumed 5 days total)

     X = Ovulation!!!

Ovulation usually occurs mid cycle. More precisely, ovulation usually occurs 14 days before the onset of bleeding.

Not at day 14 of the menstrual cycle as is commonly believed. *rolls eyes*

However - ovulation can be upset and delayed by many factors; eg, sickness, alcohol, travel, stress etc which is why simply counting the days can be inaccurate.


Ergo, to answer the threadstarter's question: Physiologically and assuming you, well, know your own menstrual cycle (*rolls eyes*)? YES, SEX the day before menstruation period IS safe.

10 days before and after you're period is the safe period pero since withrawal pwedeng makalusot pa din...

Hi,
Just watch for few more days. For regular cycle 7 days before and after are safe for doing. Sometime having sex just before menstruation period can extend that particular day. It is safe but takes some extra precautions while doing in such time.
