Brushing teeth problem

Kapag ba binubrush niyo teeth ni baby pinapamumog niyo ba sila? Si baby kasi 1yr.old palang di pa marunong magmumog.

dati struggle talaga kamini baby magbrush ng teeth nya. nayon, sya pa ngareremind sa akin na she has to brush her teeth na esp. after maligo or bago matulog ^^

My daughter is already 2 years old pero tinuturuan pa lang namin sya mag-spit. After she finishes her tube of sansfluo kase I wanna switch her to a kiddie toothpaste na may fluoride na.

Van, V is using yung may fluoride nya. She knows how to spit pero syempre hindi consistent. Minsan nagsaswalllow pa rin.

Lagi basa dami after magtoothbrush kasi naabot sa damit ang spit. Lol.

my mom used to brush along with me, and she let me choose my own toothpaste pag nasa grocery para mas maentice ako magbrush. i remember i always chose yung kiddie toothpastes na strawberry or tutti frutti with the sesame street characters. that was when i was 1 year old.

you can also try using the 3-set training brushes for more sensitive babies as transition between finger brush and toothbrush. in my life wala pa namang nangangagat na baby when i insert a fingerbrush pero when they do you can just blow lightly on their face para magloosen ang bite.

Hay salamat at marunong na mag-spit yung toddler ko Mejo mahirap pa din brush yung teeth nya but now that we've incorporated it during her bath, mas napadali na.

My kids' dentist naman said na it's ok Lang if there's fluoride in the toothpaste Kahit di pa marunong mag spit. Unlike daw in US, our water here does not have fluoride so there's no danger na mag excess sa fluoride ang kids. She asked me to switch kasi my then 1 yo son from sansfluo to a toothpaste with fluoride.

My baby's first bottom teeth just erupted and i was thinking to begin brushing, but my yaya said not yet since her teeth aren't fully out and brushing may hurt the gums. Can i begin using the sanafluo tooth wipes instead?

Jai and Ally, what toothpaste are you currently using? Paubos na yung sansfluo ni Zoe, yung may fluoride na bibilhin ko next.

i tried sansfluo kay bea pero she never liked it  , so i switched back sa chicco or pigeon lang im not sure if may flouride content ito. pero as soon as maubos na yung stocks ko il switch na sa dentphix toothpaste it has flouride content na

twelvth_goddess, baka you want to try yung polly paste from dentphix 500ml for php250.00 with flouride na rin yan sis kaya lang di sila nag dedeliver yung clinic nila is located in frontera verde near in funranch ortigas tapat ng sm hypermarket, if you want you can check yung website nila, try to google na lang

^Ok pa naman cus wala naman syang fluoride. My daughter learned to spit at around that age din sis. Ipagaya  mo lang ng ipagaya. Nung una kase my daughter would imitate the head movement when one is spitting pero the mouth wouldnt open and she'd end up swallowing instead. Pero eventually natutunan din little by little yung pag-spit ng water hanggang sa she can spit na the entire mouthful.

Mejo mahirap pa din i-brush yung teeth ng daughter ko pero mas doable na now. Puro theatrics lang din ginagawa ko like I'd tell her that her tongue and teeth want to be tickled etc.

mga sis... regarding with toothbrush training, as early as possible you can start familiarizing them with the routine. even if wala pa silang teeth, you can lay them flat on the bed, use a clean damp gauze or cloth and wipe or massage their gums. same thing when their teeth starts to errupt. very hard at first, pero kelangan natin gawin kahit umiyak sila. pag nasanay naman na, madali na.

with regards naman sa toothpaste, it is recommended that it should have enough amount of fluoride, containing at least 1,000 ppm fluoride, as this helps to strengthen teeth and help prevent the start of dental caries. dispensing of toothpaste should be a smear for children up to 2 years of age, pea size for 2-6 years old.

spitting out and not rinsing is encouraged.

I'm thankful my daughter likes having her teeth brushed, we do it 2x a day now. She gets mad when we stop.

When is it appropriate to start seeing a dentist? My daughter just turned 1 and had 2 lower teeth and 2 upper teeth which just erupted.

^that's good for you sis khriseeee  you can already have an appointment with your pediatric dentist now. it is advisable as early as 6 months or on their 1st birthday so preventives will be given and for early dental education for the parents/guardians as well.

struggle para sa amin magbrush ng teeth toddler ko.
nakita pa lang nya nilalagyan ng toothpaste yung toothbrush, tumatakbo na.
lagi sinasabi "ayaw brush teeth".
tried different tactics, like sinasabyan namin magtoothbrush, nagpalit na rin kami ng toothbrush at toothpaste (bubblegum flavor), pinapakita sa kanya yung commercial ng toothpaste na may nagbrush na teeth...kausapin tungkol sa effect pag nasira yung teeth...pero ayaw pa rin. 
Most of the time, saplitan na, kaya lang worry ko, baka matrauma, kaso kung di naman namin pipilitin, masisira naman teeth nya..
