This was my problem, too. What I did were, showed her videos of kids brushing teeth, showed her that i brush my teeth, sing "brush brush brush 3x a day...., and sinasabay ko sya sa restroom pag toothbrush. With patience and determination, um Ok na din sya.

Sa pagtago, i wash it then keep it together with her other utensils sa lock in lock container. Dati ininit ko pa ng tubig masama daw yun so tinigil ko. I just change frequently like every 2-3 mos.

Mga sis, si baby naman i found mas nalilinis namin ang teeth mouth nya using yung baby toothbrush na sinusuksok sa daliri. Di naman sya nangangagat na sobrang gAlit. Kapag yung normL na toothbrush kasi ningangatngat nya yun bristles tapos laro tapos ayaw nya pakuskos ang bibig ipin nya. Kaya ayun gMit namin parin ay yung finger tiloothbrush at 15month old.

we brush our teeth together... but with a twist. i let him brush my teeth and i will brush his teeth.. this is effective sa youngest brother ko (sya may pinaka magandang teeth sa amin) and sa 2 kids ko...

Then now kolang na realize hindi na ata fit or effective yung plastic bristles nung finger toothbrush. Baka pang milk teeth lang yun. Eh 15months na si baby and she is taking solids na. So i need improve baby's brushing.

Wala naman ako nakikitang cute na toothbrush sa mall. Any suggestion ng cute attractive toothbrush?  Yung banana-style na teether-brush, as in brush bristles ba yun?

help sis, my son is turning 10 months old next week and im still having a hard time ion brushing his teeth. 8 na ngipin nya, 4 sa baba at 4 sa taas.  his pedia wants me to use the old school method by using a cloth and dipping it in water, pero ang hirap kasi nangangagat sya or he closes his mouth kahit na nandun pa daliri ko with the cloth. so masakit. sabi ng pedia nya e balutan ko nalang daw daliri ko ng mas makapal pa para hindi ako masaktan, pero sya naman nahihirapan kasi nga mas malaki na ipapasok sa mouth nya. kaya hindi ko magawang araw arawin pag bbrush ng ngipin nya. iyakan sabay hahawakan ng dad nya sa kamay at paa, nakakaawa. ayoko namang ma trauma sya sa pag ttoothbrush lang.

same tayo ng sentiments sis ako din 14 mos old na baby ko hirap sa pagbrush and paglilinis ng tongue nya as in puting puti na.gusto ko nga linisin minsan lang nakakatyempo ako kasi ansakit mangagat.nasaktan kasi sya sakin dati kaya ayaw nya ibuka bibig nya alam na nya pag lilinisin ko sya..hehe..ano kaya pwede gawin mga sis?

sa son ko,who is now 4years old, since 2years old siya di ko na pinipilit magtoothbrush.

I use chicco toothpaste, mukhang safe naman but still ayaw ko na malunok niya. Anong strategy para matuto sila mag-gargle?

^ ganyan din sis ang baby ko, he's turning 2 this november na ang hindi rin sya marunong mag gargle..ang alam lang nya gawin is mag bubbles, so everytime mag toothbrush sya, bubbles ang gagawin nya..pero nalulunok nya pa rin yung water..hindi ko rin sya mapasunod mag toothbrush, lage kaming struggle sa pag tooth brush sa kanya..hopefully ma overcome na rin namen to..

I also have a hard time brushing my 18 month baby's teeth. buti na nga lang 8 pa lang ngipin nya. konti pa lang prob ko. hehe.  Struggle talaga kami. minsan lang sya nakikicooperate. I give him his toothbrush. tapos kakagatin lang nya.  after nya ako naman magbrush ng teeth nya.

I'll try na mag switch kame. i'll let him brush mine while i brush his teeth.

In the beginning, mahirap talaga i-brush ang teeth nila. May mga baby na ok lang but it's normal for your child to resist having their teeth brush. I applaud all mommies trying their best to find ways to brush their baby's teeth.

In our case, we started with Earth's Best toothpaste. It comes with a silicon finger toothbrush. We moved on to Pigeon's 1-2-3 system. Still resisting having her teeth brush... did the same routine with her like my older 2 kids, by giving her her own tooth brush while I held a Braun electric to brush hers.. I count 1-10 for each side, top, bottom.. let her rest or she brushes her teeth and then 1-10 again (talagang counting out loud so lesson on counting na rin yon). It helped also while she was in her bath tub. Now, kahit wala sa bath tub, she allows me to brush her teeth.

Whew!

I had my baby watch Elmo's song about brushing teeth. Now, when he sees his toothbrush he brushes his lower teeth. Pero ayaw pa rin nya na ako magbrush after he's done.

I started my girl as early as I introduced solid foods with a gum finger brush so now wala ako problema sa brushing.8 lang teeth niya kahit 19 month old na siya, try oral gels, not a paste form.Glaxo Smith Kline makes it, pero sa Singapore ko lang kasi nagamit yun, baka meron din  dyan. maybe try him with the finger brush muna while he'shaving a bath in the tub and having fun, baka maging mas receptive sa brushing.my girl lets me brush her teeth 2-3x a day e ;D
